Characters: All characters who signed-up for the event.
Where: Dreams.
When: Overnight from April 16th to April 17th.
Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.
Warning: Battles, death, tragedies, bad things overall.

[Next to him Hylia almost shines, her white dress flowing and holding to her form as she turns to face the warrior. Her hair falls in golden waves down her back that even the rain couldn't diminish. Her expression remains serious though her gaze softens at Cloud.]

As long as we haven't given up hope. We have a chance.

[As long as they are alive there is a chance.]

Will you be on your guard?

[They both know who she's talking about having sensed the darkness with in Sephiroth as his powers returned. Her watchful gaze is as always on Ganondorf seeing him as the seed of darkness within their ranks. It is her hope that they can stop the calamity but there are more than just the obstacles that they can see in their paths.]

I will. I don't know it if will be enough, but the powers I get as a Crystal Knight should help me to protect the others if things go wrong.

[He avoids speaking directly about what he means, but the fact that someone else believes him on the danger Sephiroth brings. There's just no way of knowing if his powers and his swords will be enough.

Frowning, he looks at another small figure milling about the room.]

I couldn't convince Tifa not to go. I know he'll try to use her as a tool if he gets the chance. I can't let him hurt her. [She was strong here. Stronger than she was back home...but innocent too.] I can't let her get hurt again. I made a promise to her.

{Again? What happened to her?}

Ngh....

[Hylia isn't able to relate completely to Cloud situation. The man who had so securely taken her heart was a warrior by nature being honed in battle like a blade meeting a wet stone. She will never deny Link who he is or try to persuaded him.

You love him that much?

Zelda can feel Hylia's heart and she recognizes the feelings in her own. Even with her confidence there is worry and hopes but Hylia has push that aside in place of the destiny before her.]

Do you believe that you can protect her? If so, do not worry. For she will be with you.

[Cloud and Tifa's warrior souls were not natural but honed by a literal trial by fire. With his childhood promise to save her if she was ever in a pinch, Cloud felt indebted to her for failing the first time around. And so he tried to keep from her the knowledge that Nibelheim and her family would burn before her eyes.

{W-what....}

Mentally he rails at that voice to be silent. He doesn't need to doubt himself now. This isn't the time.]

I'm not sure if I can. There's so much stacked against us. But I'm going to try.

You have to believe Cloud.

[Her tone is firm but soft. She understands the doubt that he must be feeling but that doubt will cause him to fail. Hylia doesn't want that.

Her head tilts slightly looking up at the falling rain. It's been raining so much.]

We all do.

I'll try Hylia. Thank you for believing in me, even when no one else would.

[He fished his crystal out of his pocket, rolling the pitch black orb around in his fingers.]

This is probably going to be my final mission. I promise I won't give up or throw my life away but...[He clutched the crystal tight.] I've accepted what might happen.

If I don't see you again, take care of yourself. [If he died, he had a good guess of how. He'd just have to make sure he didn't go alone.]

You as well.

[She bows her head with a gentle smile. She knows what fate might bring them and she isn't going to shy away from it. Cloud is wise and brave in his assessment and she admires him more for it.]

Take care and know that you won't be forgotten. No matter what our future holds.
