Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.

[The Esper doesn’t pretend to not know what others think of her. She’s seen their stares and heard their whispers. She is a monster and that is how they see her, even now. She helps where she is wanted and other wise stays to herself. There is no need for her to do more.

Her other-worldly gaze locks on Haytham as if knowing his thoughts. She isn’t about to let someone control her, not again.]

If only it was so simple.

[He’s short sighted and unable to feel the currents around him. All humans were like that and while the voice in her head is unwelcome. Terra knows it as her own. It is the echo of a part of her that died the moment she chose to remain an Esper.]

Sadly it’s not your imagination that pesters you.

[Haytham narrowed his eyes at her words. He was no stranger to the possibility of ancient devices and influences on the minds of man. The Apple and its ability to make people see the "truth" that its wielder wove, tales of the Sage who had memories from different eras, and many more besides.

If this voice wasn't merely a trick of his nerves then...]

An outside influence then? Something is trying to speak to us? Direct us perhaps? Are we compromised before we've even begun?

[The Esper shrugs not willing to offer more advise that she has already given. She doesn't want her own weakness known.]

Perhaps it's a voice you know?

[She turns slightly hiding behind a facade of the beast she is known as.

You don't have to hide.

You can't trust others so easily. They will only use you.]

[He was hearing the voice of that other Assassin, but her focus seemed to be elsewhere. That didn't mean it couldn't be a clever ploy or a device she found. More likely someone was trying to use his own caution against him.]

{It's called guilt. Or it would be if you had a conscience. The blood of people who are trying to do good is on your hands. This has gone beyond revenge for your son.}

REGARDLESS! Ahem, regardless, we must not allow ourselves to be deterred. We must be sure of what it is we plan to do and stick to the plans we make.

[He tipped his hat once more to the bestial woman.]
