Where: Dreams.
When: Overnight from April 16th to April 17th.
Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.

[Her smile grew wider though her expression is wistful.]

I have but I have a duty before that of my heart.

[It is a simple enough response though she left it open in case the young hero had questions. She isn't opposed to divulging things about herself and she could sense that Tifa had a good soul.]

[Tifa bows her head, fidgeting where she stands as thumbs brush against one another while she thinks.]

I guess being a Goddess isn't all that it's cracked up to be at times, huh?

There is responsibility with power.

[Her expression grew serious for a moment.]

While we have a responsibility here as well, you should listen to your heart. Don't let him go off without knowing how you feel.

I suppose you're right.

[She brushes her hair to the side, letting out a large sigh as her cheeks recess from the drawn in air being expunged from pressed lips.]

I've got nothing to lose.

[Hylia smiles at the young girl.]

If you have nothing to lose then you should move forward.

Well.. NOW it's just trying to figure out what to say exactly to him.

[Her face brightens up, turning to look at Hylia with a rather expectant grin.]

Say~ You're a Goddess, right? You must be really good with words and stuff! Or can you like, grant me confidence or something, you know, to help me tell him?

[Hylia chuckles softly at that.]

Why not try and tell me what you want to tell him? I'm sure Cloud won't mind how it sounds but I can help you form it together.

[Her crystal blue eyes shined brightly.

Tifa and Cloud, I wish they could be happy.]

[She falters for a moment, drawing back as she is surprised to find that the woman knows the name of the target of her affection.]

I.. I don't remember saying-..

[Was it so obvious that she cared for Cloud? Was she having a lapse in memory? Or was it simply that the Goddess could read minds and had been playing coy with the young country girl?]

Well, I want to tell him how my heart feels when I see him. But, it's hard to describe. I want to tell him that it makes it hard to describe how I feel because he makes me feel a certain way.

[Hylia knows because of her conversations with Cloud more than Tifa but after speaking to the both of them it is fairly obvious.]

Is it affection then? Why not tell him that and then how you care for him.

[She hopes that Tifa would understand that all the young girl had to do is explain to the stoic hero that he is special to her.]

[Tifa crosses her arms over her chest, grumbling softly as she goes over the hypotheticals in her thoughts.]

But what if I say it wrong? What if he doesn't feel the same way?

What sort of things do you think I should say to him? If it were you, what would you say?

[Hylia isn't so sure how much she should say so she treads a careful line.]

If it's wrong he will understand. If he doesn't I know he cares enough about you to not let it tarnish your friendship and you should say what's in your heart.

[The last question left the goddess thinking and for a moment she feels as if Zelda's voice took over.]

'That there is no one like him and no one who's made you feel this way. That he holds your heart in the way that you treasure him. That you want to hold him close and should these be your last days you want to spend them together and then you'd be happy.'

[Tifa leans forward, hands coming behind her back as she bends closer to look at the Goddess more closely. She cannot help but snicker, sighting something that she would have never thought possible for a "higher calling". It's a similar sort of response, and it is a series of words that Tifa cannot help but feel is in response to a situation not unlike her own.]

Hey.. Were you speaking from experience there?

[Hylia's smile becomes wistful.]

We all have secrets to bare.

[Her gaze is clear as crystal as she looks over at Tifa.]

Have I helped some?

[Tifa instantly crosses her arms, her lips going stiff as she pouts.]

He~y! That's not fair! You're obviously in love with some one, too! A girl like me can tell! There's no way I'm letting you get off that easy! You helped me so now let me help you!

[Not thinking it a strange gesture, and almost forgetting that the woman she is standing with is indeed a Goddess, Tifa reaches out and gives a playful tug to Hylia's arm.]

Come on! Spill the beans! Who is it, huh?

[Hylia only smiles her eyes glittering with the secret she held.]

Here I thought it was obvious.

[Her tone is light happy to be able to feel close to the young girl enough to speak with her about these things.]

[Tifa hadn't kept a good account of her fellow heroes, at least not as much as some of the other people she knew. If there was a specific person that Zelda was speaking of, she is unfortunately out of the loop. The few times that Tifa had seen Hylia had been with a large group of people, usually the other Heroes.]

Nope! Not a clue! It's some one you spend lots of time with though, it'd have to be.

[Her smile softens and her features become wistful.]

It is the hero from my time.

[Hylia knows he's one of many here but he is the only one from her time. He chose to be a hero instead of having the fate thrust upon him.]

[She'd known some one by that name; a pointed-eared gentleman dressed in chain-mail and a dark, green tunic. Unfortunately, that man had fallen to a previous plight, a conflict which had hit most of their ranks with dire consequences. Could it be that Hylia was pining for a man who had given his life so selflessly? Would it be rude of her to ask of his passing, or to tip-toe around the subject of his demise?]

I'm.. I'm sorry for your loss. He seemed like an amazing guy, with the few times I got to speak with him, I mean.

[Hylia shakes her head slowly.]

It's another warrior. Though they do share the same soul.

[She looks over at Tifa her eyes shining brightly.]

My point is merely that you should say your piece. You never know when it will be to late.

You're right..

[Having the words and actually saying them were two totally different things, Hylia.]

But, I promise I'll tell him.. But-!

[Tifa turns, raising a single finger and wagging it in front of Hylia's eyes with a sly look upon her face.]

If and ONLY if you make sure to tell the man you love how you feel, too!

Then it's a deal.

[Hylia isn't one for making deal's but she resolved to speak to Link before the days end and the battle begins.]
