Where: Dreams.
When: Overnight from April 16th to April 17th.
Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.

Different people have different plans.

[Her tone is soft but firm dropping her hand to her side.]

We must follow Ganondorf. There is darkness in him and I believe he will only aid in the destruction of this world.

[It's been some time since he last heard the name of the Dark Thief. His eyebrows furrow towards the bridge of his nose as it begins to crumble with the turning of his face. There's much anger in Link towards the man who had been long rumored to be an agent of darkness, considering that he was from the same realm as both Hylia and himself.]

Ganondorf.. Do we know his current location?

[Hylia shakes her head slowly.]

I have not heard word of him recently, nor have I seen him. As ever we should be on our guard.

[Her crystal gaze flashes at Link and she wonders if she should tell the brave hero of her thoughts.

Why can't you?

Hylia is surprised as if she forgot that Zelda's voice is there with her. It is a complicated thing and not the sort of thing Hylia can express in words.]

[This previous iteration of Link is not as seemingly oblivious. He can tell that there is something else on the Goddess' mind, but he is unsure if it is even his place to pry into such things. Yet, curiosity was one of his biggest flaws.]

You are.. uneasy as well, my lady. Forgive me, I don't wish to speak out of place but, please. Confide in me if you need. I am not much but a servant, but the least I can do is hear what need be said if it helps to alleviate any worry you might be holding on to. You have shown me the selflessness of being a council to my grievances, the least I can do is return such kindness.

[Her smile softens slightly.]

There are times that I cannot follow the advice I give.

[Hylia is a goddess but when she awoke here she was human and without the powers that defined her. After having them returned she feels a better sense of self but those worries are still present pressing at her thoughts.]

As you say, I am the goddess of light. I must keep to my role, even here.

[The Knight cannot help but feel that he is missing something bigger, as if there are details being kept from him that are better off not knowing, or if he'd missed a day in her presence that might shed proper light to her eluded remorse.]

Advice? Yes, you are the Goddess but.. If there is something troubling you-

[Hylia smiles wistfully her gaze shifting back to the falling rain.]

Yes, I am the Goddess.

[She is the Goddess first and a woman second.

If you love him. Tell him.

Hylia wishes it was so simple. She knows that her hero will be one of those to fall because he will be protecting her. It is inevitable unless they are able to break the bond that joins them.]

I shouldn't be troubled by such manors.

Well..

[He brushes the side of his head, keeping his eyes away as he speaks.]

You are already dealing with so much, my lady. What is one thing more to bother yourself with when you've already been shouldering so much.

[He walks closer to her, standing side-by-side with her so that he's barely touching the back of her hand with his own.]

I am meant to be your support not just by fate, but by choice. If some thing is troubling you, do not let this only be a one-sided effort. Please, tell me what is troubling you, my lady.

[Her hand gently hits the back of his and she feels an unfamiliar heat shoot through her arm. It would be foolish to neglect her feelings towards the strong hero. Her eyes shone brightly as her gaze turn towards him.]

You are my support Link but in that, you've found a place in my heart as well.

[Hylia's words were soft and she shifted her gaze back up at the sky not wanting to see the hero look away from her.]

[He might be known as the Knight of courage, but even with such a surprise as this, it is impossible for Link to not be flustered. His cheeks shift into the color of the cloak hanging off of his shoulders, a deep red which denotes his embarrassment at hearing such a bold response.

He clears his throat with a cough, unable to turn his eyes towards her as his head turns over the realization that a Goddess has found great favor in he, a human.]

I.. I do not wish to assume, but you just mean a simple fondness, correct?

[In this world she is human too even though she has regained her gifts and powers of a Goddess. Her tone is simple and confident with her usual unwavering continuance.]

Link. [Hylia is sure he knows what she means. The back of her hand lightly bumps against his as her eyes take in the beauty of the falling rain.]

It is more than something simple. [She smiles to herself wondering what sort of face Link is making next to her.]

You are unlike any other hero.

My lady, you flatter me with your words. I am nothing but a vessel for you to command.

[His head lowers, his chin almost touching the top of his chest as he opens his lids to look to the ground beneath his feet. Had he the means to do so, he would put himself to the same level as the Earth, for that is where he feels he belongs in the presence of the holy Goddess.]

I am just a man who seeks to do what is right. You praise me, yet I feel I cannot live up to those words considering the fate of this world.

It is the praise you have earned. Being modest is well but you should recognize what you've done and those you've helped.

[Her gaze is steadily up at the falling rain, her breath even and her tone clear.

Tell him

Hylia feels the young girls pleases but disregards them. It may only trouble the hero further.]

You've helped me the most. Being a companion to a begin who is immortally alone.

[He gives a slow nod of his head, drawing in a long breath that makes his chest feel heavier than it already had before.]

I'm only doing what is right, my lady. You gave us protection from the darkness when the world needed it most. The least I can do, as a Knight of your realm, is stand beside you and follow you so that others might know the safety in which we have lived.

[The sword he holds is brought back behind him, sheathing it with a solid CLICK as it is finally locked back into its sheath.]

I do this because I want to, because it is just, and not to be a called a "hero".

[She smiles softly, affection and adoration in her gaze.]

That is what makes you so wonderful. So perfect as a hero.

[Hylia keeps her gaze on the falling rain but she feels her heart swell. It is moment likes these. These small things that she adored about the young hero. He is unlike anyone else.

So tell him.]

[He lets out another sigh, bringing a hand to his chest as he draws in another breath, trying to keep himself from laughing under his breath.]

When you say it, it doesn't sound so bad. You think too highly off me, my lady.

Would you rather I think less?

[Her voice is clear and light but there is pain there too. It would be better if she thought less of the brave hero. Then her thoughts would be clear as always, maybe then she could see the correct path before her.]

[He feels the lump in his throat settle, a smile coming to his lips as he brushes a hand under his chin.]

Do you have reason to think less of me?

I do not.

[Hylia turns towards Link again no longer bothered as his instance to look away.]

My regard for you will never be less. [Her voice grows serious a soft tone whispering in her thoughts.

tell him

She takes a deep breath continuing.]

There is no one who regards you as highly as I do Link.

[He frowns for a moment, putting a finger to his chin as he tries to process what should be an easy hint, as well as a compliment.]

That must mean that others don't regard me with more than just a casual thought, or worse?

[He dips his head down, giving a soft chuckle as he nods his head at the kind words before turning on his heels to look in the opposite direction.]

I'm going to need your thoughts if we have any hope of surviving thing.

[Hylia shakes her head.]

It doesn't mean that Link. Everyone thinks very well of you and as always you have my thoughts.

[Zelda's voice is light as she speaks to Hylia.

Is he so oblivious?

Then again, maybe he just doesn't want to see the affection that the goddess feels for the brave hero.]
