The Librarian tugged at a corpse, only now still loose, as she lifelessly fell with her bloodied body coating the console in red, and falling like a sack of meat against the ground. Unfocused, open eyes, staring at the Librarian as if in its last moments as consciousness ran out.

She released her hold from what was Blair, her child, with a hand coated in blood.

From the corner of her eye, only barely did she see Ganondorf surrounded, and the green knight lying in a moribund stage. In these last moments, she remembered the words of her husband, and forcefully closed her eyes.

"Forgive us."

Her arms slammed over the procedures, controls coating in red, attempting for a rushed activation not in a full activation that she couldn't do with consciousness running out. Instead, she tried activating the mechanism, locally, until she lost all of her blood, and her last arm couldn't raise itself anymore.

Hylia wasn't watching anything else anymore. She stared at Link's back, her shot clear as his name leaves her lips. She could feel the light of those around her dwindling as Ganon's attack swept the small room. Hylia ran forward hoping to catch her hero should he fall.

"Link!"

He had protected her and because of him she was able to look at the aftermath of Ganon's attack. They were dead.

Her delicate fingers lightly traced Link's cheek. She couldn't cry. Hylia wouldn't let herself cry knowing that it had been his choice to jump forward. She felt a hole in her heart grow but she was strong. She would be strong for him.
