Ven had already seen a variety of people during his brief time here, but everyone so far had been (or appeared) his age or older. When he spotted a much younger boy moving through the passersby, and with a moogle in tow, no less, surprise and curiosity got the better of him. Ven had to jog to catch up, offering a quick "Excuse me" here and there as he wove between people -- all while Mograe cheated and flew safely overhead -- but he soon fell into speaking distance and offered the boy a smile in greeting.

"Hi! Are you a Hero of Light, too?" He glanced at the boy's moogle as he asked that, his uncertainty showing. Not that Ven typically judged according to age, but considering what he'd been told so far...
