This Calamity. Is it some sort of precursor? Someone from some race that came before?

[Cloud furrowed his brow. Reincarnation? An eternal soul? And yet it seemed reasonable given other things in this world. He frowns at her words, that she clearly knows something but is keeping a lid on it.

[Rikku did not like being called that one bit, her voice growing animated as she leaned forwards in a shout.]

[Her words cut off with a huff as she stares daggers into the hated woman's back. Seeing Kalki's despairing doppelganger in the strange world of memory had almost made her feel sympathy for the woman. Almost. At least, Rikku kept telling herself she did not feel sorry for her. Nothing excused the horrors the woman had caused, the Al Bhed did not want to feel sorry for someone so terrible!]

[All the pain Kalki had caused Yuna, her friends - herself during their time as prisoners at the Heran facility. Rikku wanted to know why.]

Heroes of Light are summoned to Crystallis. They grow to care for this world then become a vessel for their homeworld's destruction.
