I will not send you back. As a matter of fact, I am not even the one who summoned you here.

[She marked another pause.]

The Ancients were afraid of your powers. So they designed the system so that your powers would be neutralized here.

Then who did?! Tell me, and this whole mess is gonna get a lot easier.

[He takes another step closer, eyes focused on Kalki.]

Ancients. They got anythin' to do with the Galaxium? 'Cause as far as I know, they're the only ones who can take away my powers. [He stops again, holding onto his side where his wound is acting up.] So what do they really want? Save the world? Take our powers? Destroy our home planets?

Tell me.

You know who is the only person aside from me who could have accomplished this.

[She shook her head.]

The Ancients wanted eternity. After they lost their previous world to the passing of time, they moved to Crystallis in the hope to build an eternal civilization, but all they did was create the end of all civilization.

Ma'am, I'm not aware of anyone with this kind of power. Unless I know of them but have no idea of their power, but that can include lots of folks. Maybe that shopkeeper down the road, that blue fella, he could have this power. Or it could be someone from the Empire, like that Illusionist woman.

[It was his turn to cross his arms and shake his head. He was going to ask the other Heroes a lot of questions when this was over.]

So, Ancients lose their home planet, take over this one, and make that Calamity thing that's eatin' away the world, am I right? What do we have to do with it?
