Summary: Yuffie has stolen from the heroes, this is their chance to get their things back.

Yuffie was expecting the heroes to flock together once they discovered their things missing. That or run around like a chicken with their head cut off. Either way it would prove interesting. She had stashed the loot around the city like she said but each item was accompanied by a set of colorful traps as well.

The great thief stood watching the city below with a mischievous smile. She held a camera lightly in her hand as she mentally checked through each trap. She assumed that Zack and Sephiroth knew it was her who had sent the letter and would first go to her house to find her. She only had guesses for where the others might look.

Yuffie ran through the town giggling as the cold october air brushed past her. She wore her cloak with the hood pulled up over her head, giving her the veneer of a cat burglar. It was boring to sit around and wait for everyone to find their things so she went searching for her victims. There might be a trick or two she could play.

Yuffie rolled her eyes while giving Luffy an exasperated grunt. She couldn't understand some people but she also didn't really care. Luffy was strange but he managed to earn Yuffie's attention.

The young ninja gave him a wide smile. "I just stole some stuff and a few people are mad. Most of it didn't have value so I'm making people work to get it back." She was gonna leave out the part about getting some Gil from her raids. For now she wanted to keep that to herself.

Excitement rushes through him, his senses on alert as the notion of thievery and piracy was now fresh on their lips. Luffy can't help but bounce in place, the stars in his eyes growing bright as his accomplished crew mate boasts her deeds with a confident tone not unlike his own.

"You.. You did something like a pirate?! This.. This calls for a celebration!"

Enthralled by the idea that his ninja was actually committing some act of piracy was as good an excuse as any to try and pack his stomach with good eats. He rummages about in the satchel at his side, sifting his hand around as the smile slowly fades from his face. The realization that his meat is gone hits him like a sack of bricks. Considering that one would hurt themselves if they tried to eat a sack of bricks, Luffy can't help but become morose at the lack of meat and would much rather set his teeth into delicious food than structural necessities.

"MY.. MY MEAT'S GONE!"

Yuffie giggled and took off at a run. She turned back with a playful smile. "If you catch me I'll give it back!" She wasn't planning to eat his food, she had a bigger plan in mind. Now she just needed him to follow her there.

She knows he will be fast so she doesn't look back as she takes off through the crowd.

Perhaps the ninja hadn't expected Luffy to be much of a competitor at a run, even if she'd seen him during the battle with those strange plants. Hands pump up and down at either side as he turns to a run, chasing after who he assumed was a crew mate as fast as his lanky legs allow.

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!"

His mouth opens wide as he takes to a sprint, his feet creating plumes of smoke as they hit the ground. Each leg kicks off and pushes him to a faster pace, now coming within a foot or two of the sly thief.

"GIMME' BACK MY MEAT!!"

"AH!" Yuffie spurred herself a little faster but she knew it would only be a matter of time until the captain caught her. Her feet were light as she fled across the street. She waved through the crowded streets, her thoughts on her destination.

She had set up a surprise for her newest friend but she needed to lead him there. "I will but I need you to follow me!" She was heading towards a large empty house in the 11th district.

Arms wave angrily as he gives chase, swiping through the air as he tries to reach out to grab hold of her.

"STOP! JUST GIVE ME BACK MY MEAT!"

She feigns to the left before turning off to the right and running into the closest house. She was lucky that this is the location she picked because she wouldn't be able to out run him for much longer. Once she got in the house it appears as if she vanished from sight.

If he walked further in he will see an array of eatables spread across the large wooden table.

Wait..

What had he been searching for? Something was missing? Didn't seem that way now, not when there was a luscious spread of different foods and delights atop a simple looking table.

It's difficult to run when there's enough drool at one's feet to create a puddle. He'd been salivating the moment he caught sight of the food, smacking his lips together as his search is cut short by the distraction.

"F-F-F-F-F-!!"

He wipes his mouth on his arm, clapping his hands together as if he were preparing for a dive.

"THE BEST A CAPTAIN COULD EVER HOPE FOR! THANKS, YUFFIE!"

Yes. He actually got her name right.

She was sitting at the top of the stairs and couldn't help but smile. He had saved her when they fought the Ochu.

Yuffie didn't often say thanks so instead she decided to show her appreciation. Granted, Mooshoo did most of the work. All she knows how to do is roast meat so its eatable.

"You have fun. I'll be off." She gave a quick wave and began to walk towards the front door.

If Luffy looked close enough he will find his missing meet among the pile as well.
