Aftermath & Flower Petals

Characters: Terra: OPEN
Where: Aqures Ixen and Ruins of Aqures Tosf
When: August
Summary: There are things that she must do: wake up, check on her flower shop and find the strength to go home...
Warning: Nothing comes to mind though probably depressing descriptions.

August 14th: Aqures Tosf

She felt a fresh inhale of breath as the crystal slowly melted away from her thin frame. She recognized those around her but she was at a loss as to what had happened. They were in some sort of closed off room and she immediately knew that it was a lab, for what purpose she didn't know, but she felt the pressing need to leave.

Terra was a ghost as she walked from the room, heading towards the outside of the ruins. Her pace slowed as she passed through the main entrance to the temple recognizing the fixtures even after the passage of time. A hand rested over her heart as she stepped out into the bright sun. She slowly took deep breaths only praying that Aqures Ixen was alright.

There was so much she didn't understand and now that feeling only seemed to increase.

August 15th: B-09

Terra had delayed coming home for as long as she could. Tempest was back at the shop and so were the kittens. She thought to bring some of them home with her but they were easier to care for in a group and there was no one else living in the house to lean a hand.

She wasn't sure how long she waited outside. She had decided to go alone and she was happy for the chance to stand outside and inspect the depressing structure. It gave her time to think. There was a lot to do and she didn't want to shy away from it any further. Anyone could see the figure standing in front of her house, much like she had during the day of the fire, but this time she held her head high and took a determined step forward.

August: Jardin Verdoyant, Flower Shop

She had known the damage might be bad but it seemed that her shop hadn't gotten hit as hard as those around her. She had lost about half of her flowers and even more of the green house but her seeds were safe and she could start over. Tempest was already there, with the kittens, and frantically trying to get everything cleaned up for when Terra returned. She had wanted to come and get Terra with the others but she knew that her hero would feel sad if the kittens were left alone and they had already imposed on the old woman as it was.

When Terra walked into the shop Tempest instantly fluttered forward, almost tackling Terra with her hug. "I'm so glad you're safe, kupo. I was so worried when I returned and you were gone." Tempest didn't ask what happened. She knew enough about Terra to know her hero would tell her when she was ready too.

Terra wrapped her arms around Tempest and as she was about to say her hellos a small horde of kittens came running over to greet Terra as well. There was a lot to do around the shop but it seemed that the mass of animals wouldn't leave Terra alone to work. She also wanted to stop by the other shops and lend a hand where she could. She wasn't strong but she was at least a second pair of hands.
