Mognet/Action
Mognet 1, addressed to all members of Fairy Tail:
I know a lot happened back in Aqures Tosf, but there's still a lot to do around here. We may have saved the city, but a lot of peoples' homes got destroyed in the process and there are some places that need to be rebuilt. I just got the notice that Fairy Tail has been approved as a guild, so let's make our first official mission to help clean up and rebuild the city of Aqures Ixen. The people here need something to believe in after everything that just happened, so let's do our best to help them as much as we can. What do you say, Fairy Tail?
Mognet 2, addressed to all Heroes of Light:
Now that we've been back for a few days, I've finally gotten a chance to organize the notes I was taking in the library in Aqures Tosf. Thanks to those of you who stopped in to help me - I wouldn't have been able to collect nearly as much information working by myself. A lot of what I found turned out to be outdated crystal theory from before the time it was widely known that they draw upon life energy, but I did find something else that I think will be useful. Some of the chapters I was able to get the best notes on deal with the use of crystals in energy conversion as well as Job infusion.
With Palitutu gone, we'll need to figure out how to do those things from the ground up, and this should get us at least part of the way there. I'm planning to pay a visit to her lab and look at the notes she had there as well, but in the long term I think we need to be thinking about setting up our own crystal research division among the Heroes of Light. If we're going to survive here and truly understand this world and how it works, we need to do the work ourselves. We've had so many things kept hidden from us so far, and this is our chance to really start learning about them.
If anybody wants to see the notes, let me know. I want to hold onto them myself for the time being.
Action 1, throughout the next few weeks - the damaged districts:
[During the coming weeks, Levy can be found out and about around Aqures Ixen, doing her part to help clear out rubble, move building supplies back and forth, and even working a little to help the construction teams rebuild things where and when she can. It's pretty far out of her usual line of work, but every Fairy Tail member has helped to rebuild their guild headquarters whenever someone attacks or after Gildarts has been in town, so she at least knows her way around nails and a hammer. Anyone wanting to join her is free to do so - especially her guildmates in Fairy Tail, but she'll also flag down anyone else she's met to see if they want to help out too.]
Action 2, throughout the next few weeks - Jessie's Labortory:
[When she isn't out in the streets helping with the cleanup effort, Levy can be found at Jessie's abandoned laboratory, looking around at all the technology and research notes left behind. It's like nothing she's ever seen before, but the researcher in her is eager to get started on decoding it all. Ironically, her counterpart in Edolas would probably have a much better idea of where to start in a place where magic and technology meet like this, but Levy's definitely spent enough time reading about this world's technology that she at least grasps the basics. Still, it's all rather overwhelming now that she has free reign to explore as she pleases.]
This is amazing... I don't even know where to start.

[Cloud sighs and leans forward, propping his forehead up against the edge of the sign.]
I'm just...thinking about what we're supposed to be doing. We were told we were Heroes and then it just turned out we were all tools? And we still don't even know what Palitutu's plan is.
[He leans back, his feet hooked into the ladder to keep his balance as he looks up at the sky.]
Some 'Heroes' we are.

We saved an entire city, Cloud. We stopped the Calamity's advance.
[She sweeps her hand out toward the street.]
These people may have lost their homes, but they haven't lost hope. Most of them are grateful for what we did. Palitutu may have tricked us, and she may have gotten away this time, but we don't have to let her win. Not as long as we keep fighting.
no subject
Yeah, I know. I just wish we knew what it is we're fighting for. Like why we were brought here I mean. Or what Heroes of Light are really supposed to be...I've been wondering about it for a while and different people said different things. I don't want it just to be because of Palitutu's plans.
[When he first joined ShinRa he wanted to be a Hero like Sephiroth to be strong. But then he met Zack and that all got turned around.]
I want to be sure that what we're doing won't destroy everything we care about.

In this world, we're called Heroes of Light just by virtue of the fact that we were summoned here from other worlds to fight the Calamity. But I think we should still work for that title, to really earn it and deserve being called something so impressive, you know?
But even with that... you don't have to be a hero to do what's right, or to help people. If you care about something, or someone, and you do your best every day to protect them? That's all you really need to do. You just have to decide what's important to you.

I ran into Garland while we were in Aqures Tosf. He said the same thing. That if he was one of us he'd try to define what a Hero of Light was rather than following someone else's definition. But doing what I think is right...
[His eyes focus on Levy and he sees shades of his missing friend in her. If Zack was here he'd probably be saying the exact same thing. What was it Angeal said that one time while he was visiting?]
Embrace your dreams...and protect your honor...
[The weight seems to come off of Cloud's shoulders a bit, a faint smile coming to his face.]
I'll try Levy. I'm glad I have people like you here with me.

[Levy smiles softly, nodding back at him.]
Anytime, Cloud.

However he only gets two swings of his hammer in before he stops and turns around again.]
Hey...so what's up for the Guild from here?

[He chuckles and shakes his head.]
I wonder if we have to go back to our own worlds when this is all over or if we can pick new homes.
no subject
Well, it's not like we're without our problems. Every world has them, I'm sure. The Guilds still have to answer to the Magic Council, after all, and they can be pretty strict too. Fairy Tail's gotten in trouble with them more times than I can count. And there's always the Dark Guilds to watch out for. I mean, don't get me wrong - I love my world - but it can be dangerous too.
no subject
[With a nice person like Levy Cloud is pressed for a reason why the guild might get in trouble. Politics maybe? That she mentions something called a "dark guild" makes him assume they get up to more illegal activity, and also that Fairy Tail isn't one.

[There's an awkward pause as she looks around at the destroyed houses.]
Property damage, usually.
no subject
He's only able to hold a look of shock and surprise for a moment before he doubles over laughing.]
no subject
[Levy laughs a little awkwardly at that too.]
We're good at what we do, but we have a lot of really strong members who aren't that good at controlling themselves when things get serious.
no subject
Haha, well...right now I'm happy I joined your version of the guild. And considering this world, maybe I'll get to meet them one day.

[She laughs out loud at that last claim from Cloud.]
Even if they came here without their powers, there's no way I'd ever be stronger than Erza or Mirajane.

[Cloud's eyebrow goes up. Levy may not be as strong as some of the other Heroes around just because of how long she's been here, but her reaction sort of confirms his assumption that an S-Rank for her is the same as a First Class to him.]
Well at least this world is a good place for us both to get stronger then.
[He still wants to be worthy of First Class. It may not have as much meaning here, but it's still a goal for him to reach for. Maybe then he'll really feel like a Hero.]
no subject
[It's clear that Levy has a lot of respect for the stronger members of her guild just by the way she's talking. It's less self-deprecation and more a sense of awe for her friends.]
Right! Let's both keep working hard.
