The Meeting of Two Blacksmiths
Characters: Ales and Shu
Where: House A-15
When: October 11th, 1:00 pm
Summary: Ales and Shun meet up for the first time to discuss Blacksmith things.
Warning: N/A
Expecting a guest, Ales spent his morning tidying up his room and clearing a pathway on the floor for a larger creature than himself to walk through. He's been finally able to start tinkering with small bits of metal ever since his trip to the Magitek facility, and though he wasn't able to bring back working machinery, he's happy he finally surrounded by familiar material.
Five minutes before the scheduled time, he headed outside with his notebook, sketching vague shapes in the lined pages. He's hit a bit of an inventor's block, especially since there's no one who's given him ideas on what to make while here.

Fortunately, that seemed to do the trick.
Of course, the truth was, Shun just...really wanted a moment, to himself. He'd left well ahead of time, and took his time walking. He was grateful for that bit of peace and quiet, too. By the time he arrived -- which was just a bit less than five minutes ahead of time -- he wore a pleasant expression.
After a quick knock on the door, he stepped back to wait.

He ran up to the door and jumped an inch to grab the door handle and pulled it down, kicked off the door frame to let it open, then let go of the handle. All typical athletics for a Teensie.
He poked his head from behind the door and stepped in front. "Shun! You're here just in time! Please, come inside." Still facing Shun, he gave the door behind him a shove to let it swing it further open.

Nodding to the exclamation of his name, letting the small figure know he was correct. With that, he was going to assume that the being was, indeed, the one he was supposed to be meeting, "Hello. Ales, I presume? It's very nice to meet you."
Stepping into the house, he turned towards the being with a polite smile as he waited to be shown where to go.

"I'm glad to finally meet you as well." He closed the door behind Shun with a heavy shove. The entire act of opening the door didn't seem to tire Ales at all. "Please, sit down! Like something to drink? Eat?" He walked over to the couch, which fortunately was clear of any of his roommate's items. "I can grab some paper from upstairs if you need any."

He'd been incorrect in his guess with Ales.
Following the instruction to sit, he moved over to the couch and did just that, "Ah, no thank you." To the mention of paper, Shun smiled gently, and then held up the bag he'd been carrying, "It just so happens I brought some of my own."

Mimi was in his room, taking a nap on his bed. Careful not to wake her, he picked up his satchel where he carried his tools and put an engineering book. He heaved it over his shoulder and picked up a few of the small metal scraps he retrieved from the Magitek facility, leaving the parts that he was working on the day before on his desk.
He returned to the front room several minutes later. "Sorry to keep you waiting," he said. He let the metal fall out of his arms and onto the coffee table gently.
