It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[Zelda smiles hoping to start the bid's off. She doesn't plan to go on an romantic dates and she's sure that Raven feels the same. She has a feeling that he was put up to this much like the letter that had been sent out by Yuri.]

[Rukia lifts her chin out of her hand, surprised to hear Raven's name? Hou...? And Zelda's bidding on him? She thought the princess was leery. Well, her opinion's changed, so that's good. Still, by the sound of that intro, she can tell he didn't sign himself up. Honestly, his ego's going to get flattened at this rate...]

[She stands up and cups a hand to her mouth, leaning on the table.]

You forgot to mention his cooking skills that make a woman's heart skip a beat!

[Rukia sits back down, looking pleased with herself. See? She's helping!]

[Zelda can't help but laugh at that.]

[Rukia glances around. She clearly expects the bids to come pouring in. Why would they not? Did her words, perhaps, lack conviction? Hmmmm... She checks her figures. She hadn't planned on it, but he did toss a bid her way to build up her worth. She can afford to do the same.]

One thousand.

[He promised crepes.]

[Zelda thinks about how much she has and then raises her paddle.]

[The paddle swims up, then down. She's getting close to her limit, but... He's one of the few on the list she'd be okay spending time with. So she can offer half of her budget.]

[Zelda's smile brightens.]

[She doesn't feel comfortable doing big leaps.]

[Rukia is totally comfortable with it, but only because she's already made up her mind as to how much she's spending. Not there yet, so she'll nudge it a little further. She has reasons.]

[She holds up the paddle again.]

[Rukia chews the inside of her cheek in quiet thought. Should she... Why not. Oblivious to the curious stare of Chappopo, she raises her paddle again. One more time.]

[Zelda looks over at Rukia curiously.]

Ah... I have no choice but to surrender.

[Rukia lays down her paddle, heaving a dramatic sigh. Chappopo peers at her.]

'Kupo...are you disappointed?'

Not really.

[She rests her cheek in the cup of her hand with a calm smile, enjoying the look of surprise on Raven's face. He probably wasn't expecting the bid to go up so high. Someone like that needed to know he was worth fighting for.]

Don't you think...he looks a little happy...?

[Chappopo doesn't say anything. She looks at Rukia, then at Raven. Then back again.]

'...ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH HIM?'

[Rukia's brow twitches.]

Must everything be about love with you? Tch.
