It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

You know what? The more the better is right.

"Psst. Pssssst!" Jack is not so quietly whispering at Yunie and Rikku. He slides over a few seats to get right next to K'pandolu, and is frantically gesturing the other two bidders over with a very mischievous look on his face. Huddle up. Don't let Johnny see what's happening.

Jack bridges his fingers. "I have a proposition, and I think everybody's going to like it."

"We're at 1200 now? Make it 1250, we each chip in that amount, raise a lot for the moogles, and split the prize." The prize, in this case, being Johnny. "Everybody wins, everybody gets a date, it makes Johnny one of the top earners, and he's gonna blush even harder than he already is."

Grin. "Whatdya say?"

[Resting a elbow to her knee and a chin to her palm, Rikku grins wickedly at Jack's plan. With a scheme like that, he could make for a decent Al Bhed.]

[it's an intriguing idea, and she considers it, leaning back to glance over the other three. More than she'd have expected, so her gaze lingers on Jack for a moment- but no longer, as she smiles and nods.]

I'll agree with that. Will you be making the bid, then?

Oh, it's so nice when a plan comes together. Jack nods excitedly, and turns back towards the stage to raise his hand. He shoots a grin that is just for Johnny, that perfect mix of mischief and victory. He doesn't want to miss Johnny's reaction.

"5000."

"For all of us."

[There's definitely some applause for that amount. Johnny is dumbfounded. It's impossible to hide his embarrassment, his face getting redder. He shakes his head, feeling like he hasn't heard that right.]

Five thou-- You guys are crazy.

[He looks to each one of them for a moment helplessly, as he tries to figure out how in the hell he's going to take four different people on a date. Especially when one of them is considerably younger than him. Then his eyes go back to the ringmaster, and he shakes his head at Jack like he is so gonna get it for this.]
