It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[Ven, in contrast, is here under no obligation other than his impulsive desire to help anyone and everyone with just about anything. He spotted Saori a few times throughout the evening as he was helping to set up, but it's not until most of the decorations are complete and everything else is in place that he finds a moment to finally speak to her.]

Aww, thanks, Ven. It's the best I could get at the last minute. I got so caught up on cooking I almost forgot I didn't have anything decent to wear.

And really, thanks for helping with the prep work. I think you and the other volunteers really made Brigid's day. I'm sorry if I was overly territorial with the house kitchen the past few days.

[Well she might've since she did swipe a roll of caution tape from work to section the kitchen off from everyone.]

[He was just glad to find out that the police tape wasn't his fault -- the first time he saw it, he was afraid he'd been banned from the kitchen forever.]

Nah, it's okay! You've been really busy 'n all. I'm just glad this turned out like she wanted.
