It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[Reno... just... stared. Jaw hanging slightly open, eyes wide. That was the last thing he thought he'd see on this stage.]

[It wasn't the first time he'd seen Cloud in a dress. But it didn't make it any less weird when it happened. He glanced at the blonde who'd bid 1000, wondering if she'd known in advance.]

[Rukia really needs to stop drinking beverages just so she can spit them out for the sake of comedic timing. He did it. The crazy young man actually did it. She cups a hand over her mouth, shoulders shaking as she starts to laugh in earnest. Then she applauds and shakes her head. She'll admit it, she's impressed. She hadn't expected he would actually do it, but there he is. She throws her bid paddle high.]

Four thousand.

[If she has to go out to the plains and fight a horde of monsters to get the extra cash, she'll do it. Someone that bold deserves to have a bold bid.]

[Reno put his paddle down, feeling at once relieved that the small girl had bid again. That other guy seemed sketchy as hell, and Reno was immediately suspicious in his interest in a sixteen-year-old boy in a dress. 4000 gil was a nice sum, though, hopefully a sum to end certain others' bids. Reno knew he couldn't afford anything else.]

[Everything is going so fast and Cloud can't help but wear a shocked look of both shock and fear on his face....but he also can't let Yuffie's comment slide.]

[Reno was mortified. This Cloud was almost half his age, and had no knowledge of their... history... on Atia. Neither did Yuffie, for that matter! She probably didn't even realize how beyond awkward this was for him.]

[Saori just blinks as she watches the exchange but turns her attention to the stage. Poor guy. Well, they are to suppose to be compensated with some of the bid, so this is the least she could do. She raises the paddle. ]

Cloud himself is looking good! But she thinks she could make some improvements on that.]

[Well, the goal was to boost Cloud's numbers, and judging by K'Pandolu's bid, he'd succeeded. It was time to excuse himself before Yuffie pulled another stunt -- and before he started thinking too hard about Cloud in that dress.]
