It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[ Unlike most of those here, Sheena hadn't gone to a salon or had anyone do her hair. She had done it herself in a fair copy of how it had been styled for the dinner party back home. After all the brushing and combing and pinning she had gone through, she had better remember it, and if she says so herself, had done a pretty good job of it as well.

However, she is one of the many who brought refreshments for those involved, and is wondering just where to place a few dozen cookies--some chocolate chip, some kupo nut--and keep them away from her moogle Corrine at the same time, when she spots the woman with two cheesecakes.

And does a double-take. Doesn't she know her from somewhere? ]

Excuse me, but have we met?

[ At the Library, perhaps? ]

Mm?

[Rukia looks up at Sheena, then hesitates. Had they met? She doesn't recall speaking to her previously. Then again, that damnable time loop wreaked a lot of havoc, and it was possible that she'd run into her during the early hours of each loop.]

I don't believe so. But this can be amended.

[She offered a friendly smile and held out her hand.]

Rukia Kuchiki.

[ ooc: Nope! I was going for the "I know her from somewhere, but where?" thing. Sorry for the confusion. ]

[ Honestly, they hadn't spoken to each other before, but Sheena was pretty sure she had seen her. The only problem was, she couldn't quite place her finger on where.

The most obvious answer was the Library since she worked there, but sometimes the obvious answer isn't always the right one. ]

[ Her grip is firm, the hold of someone who's been trained to fight with their hands. ]

It's nice to meet you. [ Letting go of her hand, Sheena pauses and looks at Rukia quizzically. ] This may sound rude, but do you go to the Library a lot?

[OOC: Oh no, that's fine! I just have a terrible memory, so I'm relieved!]

Hm? At least once a week, I suppose.

[Does that qualify as 'a lot'? She meets with Robin to discuss books and research on a regular schedule, and sometimes drops in if there's something she's particularly curious about.]

Do you visit frequently?

[ The second Rukia tells her how many times, Sheena grins widely. She thought she had seen her there!

Good thing she never came to ask Sheena about dating. her answer would have been: "No clue."

Her smile growing wider, Sheena nods. ]

You can say that. I work there. I'm usually wearing a dark suit with my hair looking a lot different.

[ Top of a pineapple, anyone? ]

[To be fair, that seems to be most people's response. How strange, that so many in this city would be so socially stunted. Nonetheless, she's always glad to make a new friend, and Sheena seems like an outgoing and kind person.]

[She dips her head in greeting.]

It seems I've made it a habit to grow acquainted with the city's librarians. What made you choose this career?

[ Sheena doesn't know about others, but as for her? No one ever asked her, and she has a few concepts about herself that prevent her from doing it.

Making friends, however? She's all for that. ]

Nice to meet you, Rukia.

[ Sheena returns the partial bow, smiling when she comes back up. ]

So you've met Vincent! He's pretty nice. [ Not to mention a little stubborn since he won't stop calling her "Miss Sheena". At her question, she blushes slightly. ] Well... The Library's the best place to get information and working there makes it easier to find.

Not that I've found much beyond Crystals...

Ah...yes. He is.

[But shy. Then again, maybe that was due to the quiet nature of the library. For all she knows, he could be quite outgoing once he's off work. She won't know unless they bump into one another later.]

I know very little of the Crystals.

[As such, Sheena has Rukia's interest.]

[ Nope. Sheena has the feeling that he picked the Library because of his nature, not the other way around. Not that it bothers her; she's known some pretty shy and quiet people herself.

For a moment, Sheena can only stare at the woman. ]

Really? Just about every book I looked at when I first got her talked about the Crystals. Unless.... [ She sighs. ] There are still some books mis-shelved. [ Shaking her head, she looks at Rukia. ]
