A Fighting-Soaked Past Time
Who: Meteor (The Adventurer), OPEN
What: Money's getting low. Time to go hunting.
When: 10/25 to 27
Where: Outskirts of Town, Aqures Ixen borderlining Calm Plains
Warnings: FF14 Violence
A. In Town
Meteor realized he was getting low on money.
While monsters dropped gil back home, it wasn't an assured thing here. But it was good income if he could take and loot a little mini dungeon or find some kind of request board.
So, placing out a open mognet letter to be delivered, and his location, Meteor took his time off and went hunting.
You can catch him early on, saddling up his chocobo, getting bags and provisions up.
B. Midday Early 24th
Meteor's taking a break, skinning some of the furs and preparing the hides for curing. There had been no end of the monsters once he had waltzed bravely, or foolishly into the middle of a monster nest and soon, the axe-wielding warrior was fighting off monsters left and right. Currently he's sitting in a circle of dead enemies, tending to some minor wounds and sipping on a hi potion.
He isn't hard to find, the small area where he had fought was probably littered with corpses and the occasional bomb corpse. He's already looting fingers and other things from the enemies, and gathering up gil.
C. Old Flashbacks, 26th
MARBORO! Well, this was annoying. The monster was lashing everywhere with its tendrils and Meteor ran and ducked around it. Slashing at its tendrils with a power break, he Jumped to avoid a gust of toxic bad breath.
Leaping on a outstretched tendril, he bounced up onto its head and started hacking away. "Just... lay... down, and die!" Exclaimed Meteor angrily, slamming his axe. "I swear, steropes are just as bad as you and you won't fall!"
Thrown from it, his moogle sighed. "That's what you get for attacking it recklessly."
"How was I supposed to know this is basically a group enemy?" demanded Meteor, dodge rolling to the side and slashing in a spinning arc right into the tendrils, chopping two free. "Oh pick those up will you?"
His moogle sighed. "Shouldn't we be getting back soon?"
"Once this falls. I shant be running from this beast." He ducked a lashing tendril and hit him with another attack. "T'would be easier if I was not fighting the equivalent of an elite mark!"

It was nice to hear him speak of his home and his world. She hadn’t heard of a place like that before and each new description brought a smile to her lips. A world with so many cultures, a world healing; it sounded like a place that Terra would very much like to visit. She looked over at Sea, her eyes peering around the large yellow bird.
“Sea?” She paused for a moment and then shook her head and continued. “Do you want to go back to your home?”
Terra’s home wasn’t friendly to people like her, at least from what she remembered and she didn’t want to go back. As she waited she carefully pulled a small bag from her pouch and then held it open for Sea. Inside was a batch of sugar cookies that Tempest and Terra had made the night before. She usually ate them with tea but they were good on their own as well.

"There is another world, one known as the land of Shantotto, where she hails. She cut a portal into our world from her own, and said the boundaries of reality are paper thin between our worlds. Perhaps one day, I will see more of Eorzea here, than I will back home."
"Pray, I miss my world. But it is pleasant company in a world so vibrant such as this one."

Terra blinked feeling as if she missed something. She wasn't sure how one could travel so easily between two worlds as Sea suggested. She thought that maybe he meant something else but she wasn't sure.
She blinked a few times before biting into a cookie.

“Sounds like an amazing person.” She wasn’t sure if crossing between worlds like this was good or bad.
A flash moved out of the corner of her eye but Terra couldn’t say what it was. “Shouldn’t we have run into something by now?”
