Event || The Night of the Thirteen Moogles

Characters: Everyone!
Where: Aqures Ixen (Old Observatory, others).
When: Night from the 31st of October to the 01st of November.
Summary: Midnight is approaching, ghosts are everywhere and clouds are slowly gathering above the old observatory... What does it all mean? This post is open to all characters, there are no sign-ups for this.
Warning: The destructor has come.

"No... My sister."

In spirit, not blood, but, they may well be on the same 'level' of infamy and dangerousness. The Spartan lays down another clip of shots before turning to the other side of the doorway. Fortunately the one gun is all she has.

"So... whatever it is that's going on... they're using bodies of others... I will NOT stand for this." Though she's not standing now so it's a totally true statement.

"I see... if I can immobilize her for but a moment, can you disable her?" asked Meteor as he ducked the spray of attacks.

"I only have one real shot at this."

"I have no idea, but, we'll at least try."

Determined to not allow her sister to be just used like a doll, she stands and casts haste upon herself, the 7 foot tall blonde and all her hair standing, as she has many times, bravely, but not once to face down that heavy red armor. Usually, it's at her side!

Nodding, he slung his weapon over his shoulder. "All right, here goes."

A wave of energy poured off the Adventurer, with a loud noise that sounded like a massive discharge. Slamming the ground with his axe, he charged forward as spears of molten rock shot up between himself and Daisy. With a battle cry, he charged forward, a circle of shields and rock forming around himself and Val.

The Warrior of Light's limit break had just been triggered, and as Daisy fired at him, the bullets rebounded off his armor.

90% damage reduction is a go! And he lunged to grapple with her.

The towering woman took a deep breath.

"You'll be hit too, but you won't die. Promise." she says.

With both grappling one another, the towering armor trying to wrench free from the Hero, both are enveloped in a localized tornado, which wastes little time bringing both of them to a state of... well... near-death, though it would seem the WoL was already there! Her absolutely favorite... the Maelsrom.

"Now move!" or be hit with a flying medical bed!

With a heave, he threw himself free of the Maelstrom as he fell down. Hitting the ground in a roll and Bravura thudding into the ground, the towering armored woman was gripped in Val's tornado attack.

"Keep it up, she's weakening!"

"Well! Do something then! You don't honestly expect me to to kill my own sister do you?" Whether or not she was in control, it didn't matter, this was the most she could do to stop Daisy in the slightest...

She knew she was too wild and reckless, and only knew this attack by heart to be near-fatal, and never, ever, fatal on it's own.

Well, there was one thing he could do.

Leaping back into the fray, he brought the heavy part of the weapon on her head, knocking the woman prone. "Well, that worked."

The woman certainly didn't smile at the result, but... at least the matter was handled. She folds her arms under her cloak and hangs her head. A 'thank you for that' was muttered, but she was still quite rattled at the fact that Daisy was used against her.

And moreso to find that she was even used at all...

"We should get these two secured somewhere," said Meteor after a moments hesitation. "At least then we'll keep them from harming any more civilians."

She nods, not smiling or seeming relieved at all.

"You're not wrong." she says, reluctantly lifting up the body of her armored sister.
