Summary: Midnight is approaching, ghosts are everywhere and clouds are slowly gathering above the old observatory... What does it all mean? This post is open to all characters, there are no sign-ups for this.

That was a kiss, right? He blinks at her, his expression frozen as he watches her take the potion.

But why- what was that for? ... ... Oh? Something like that?]

Ha- haha~ Yuffie-san, is that how princesses from your country say 'thank you'? You surprised me! I think usually, people just say it with words.

[Yuffie blinks and looks over at Manami with a smile. Is he nervous? This is going to be fun for the ninja princess. She hasn’t been able to tease Manami yet and now she’s pretty sure she knows how. With her smile slowly slipping wider she takes a half step forward, her dark eyes looking up at the other hero.]

It isn’t. In fact my father would probably be upset with me.

[With each word her smile widens until there is a full grin spread across her lips.]

Maybe it’s because I think you’re cute.

[It’s really hard to tell if Yuffie’s serious or not but she’s watching Manami now. Her gaze fixed on him with a curious glint in her eye. Never mind crystal soldiers and city in danger.]

[At this point, it's not so much the kiss that has him off-balance as the way that she's looking at him. Somehow, she reminds him way too much of Arakita-san when he's going in for the kill in a race.

Still, even with that impression, she's probably not serious~

Hahah~ Naww. The type Yuffie-san likes is 'handsome and strong and nice'!

[She told him so, even if she doesn't remember it.]

[Yuffie looks at him like he's crazy before backing up sightly. He's no fun and so she switches to a different tactic. Her expression grows serious before a little dismissive.]

I don't like nice people or have you not met my crushes?

[50% of them are or were in Crystallis.]

And I meant it, you are cute so stop being annoying and accept the damn compliment.

[That isn't how you compliment someone.]

[Yuffie-san, you talk totally different once you've been stabbed. would stand to reason...

He chuckles lightly, supposes that it might be true (she was the heavy one during the teleport, after all), and gives the 'compliment' no more mind.]

Yuffie-san has crushes? More than one! Like~ Like, Vincent or- [He thinks fast, trying to remember some other names of guys that are about her age?] Johnny or Ven or MarKus?

[...wow he's really not met a lot of guys here.]

WHAT?!

[More than a one name strikes a nerve with her. MarKus and her had dated and then she put space between them, Ven is a serial killer and Vincent has made it clear he has no interest. After going through each name in her head she pauses and looks up at Manami confused.]

Who’s Johnny?

[As she spoke the giant marshmallow thing which they’ve been skillfully ignoring lumbers and something begins to happen.]

[Oops~ yep, looks like he struck a nerve or two or three. So good timing, lumbering marshmallow-thing. Manami looks up- wayyy up, you can't miss it- and watches as some sort of magic is happening around it.]

Whoaaa. Would you look at that! What's going on? That looks like more fun to fight than zombies!

I really don't know and how the hell is that more fun!?

[She points up at the giant as it continues to swap and then fall against the castle. This doesn't look good and unless they want to be covered in marshmallow they better continue to run away.]

Haha, well, look at it! Isn't it silly? And looks like it's made of marshmallow! Maybe fire magic will roast it and make it melt, ahaha~

[Way way way less scary than zombies-turned-real.

And ...yah, turns out his thoughts became real and here comes the marshmallow. Running away now sounds good.
His steps waver from the lack of mana in him, but he runs anyway.]

Yuffie-san, ha- ha- how far do you think we'll have to run to -ha -ha- be safe? The ground is really unsteady here.

[Yuffie really wants to punch him now.]

How the hell do I know!?

[She almost trips as she runs away, her legs feeling like jello. Even with the potion she has more than just a few wounds.

As they run the large mog staggers and it appears which ever heroes are fighting it have won because it bursts sending marshmallow all over the town.]

[Flying marshmallow incoming!

A big chunk hits Manami on the back of the head, sending him staggering to the ground.]

Ah-! Ah, that's kinda warm- Uwaaa, how am I gonna get this out of my hair?

[Even as he complains about that, more marshmallow is falling on him.]

What a mess, what a mess... AH! MY BIKE!

[Infused with new strength (mental if not physical), Manami looks around to orient himself. Where did he leave it?

And he runs off. (Bye, Yuffie?)]

[Yuffie just watches and then sighs softly. She easily side steps the spewing marshmallow and then begins to pick her way back home. This is just too crazy for her.

She just wishes someone was at home.]
