Summary: Blitzball! ~ Feel free to run into Yuna during all and anything. These are just general things if you wish to run into her.
Warning: Maybe be profanity and swearing because…fans. Nothing crazy or bad!

Player Meetings

Yuna was excited to meet players that she hadn’t had the chance to greet before. She’s been on the team for a couple of months now and she still hadn’t met all the players on the other teams. She had met a few in passing but it was nothing like this.

Celes was excited. He was using this chance to get his Blitzball signed by all his favorite star athletes. Yuna followed him with a wide grin, greeting the players while Celes gushed about how great they were.

After they finished going around Celes turned to Yuna. His cheeks were flushed a slight hint of red as he held out his prized Blitzball towards Yuna. “Will you sign it too?” He couldn’t say it but Celes was Yuna’s biggest fan.

Souvenir’s, Food and Drink

Yuna was staying away from the Vuvuzela’s though that didn’t mean she didn’t hear them. Luckily sound traveled differently in water so during the match all the cheering became a dull clamor in the back ground of the playing sphere.

She finally got a break and she decided to take a look at the shops and the stands. There was so much to see. She wanted to get an Aqures Chocobo shirt but she couldn’t wear it during the match and she already had Aqures Chocobo pajama’s thanks to Celes. She smiled at the stands deciding to get something light eat for now. She’d have to get back soon anyway but it was nice to absorb the excitement from those who loved Blitzball as much as she did.

Yuna's cheeks flush slightly but she tries to play it off like nothing has changed. "I'm used to those sorts of interactions. Honestly, it's nice that someone knows me for playing Blitzball."

She took another sip of her drink feeling the affects faster with the added excitement in the room. There were people hollering around them and more than a few of them pointed at Yuna or where talking about her loudly. Drunks can't always control the volume of their voices.

"Though maybe we shouldn't stay for too long." Yuna was just the sort to get swept up in a fans excitement and there was no telling where that would lead.

"If that is what the young lady wants, then we'll move on." He had placed the bottle back down as moved to stand up. He was going to at least make sure that the young lady was shown to the door and guided to wherever the next destination might be. Holding out his hand, he was going to offer it so he could guide her.

"Shall we get going, milady?"

Yuna watched him curiously as she gently placed her hand in his. She feels a little strange as he lead her from the bar.

"Why are you being so formal?" Her head tilted to the side, her focus more on Fai then where they are headed.

"Why not?" he didn't see any problem with it since he knew he would let go as soon as they were outside.

When he let go, he moved to walk next to her. "Dos it matter if I am formal or not?"

Yuna looked up at him curiously for a moment before shrugging. "No. I just didn't know why." Ever since the eternal calm Yuna's curiosity has been rampant.

She picked a direction and just began to walk not really concerned where she was going at the moment. She was buzzed from her drink and it felt nice.

"Sometimes people don't need a reason. They just do it." He couldn't really think of a better reason than that right now, but he didn't care all that much.

He kept close to her as he could tell that maybe with the atmosphere being as it was that the other could possibly get drunk quicker. He knew he could feel it and he found it hard to get drunk these days.

"How about this one?" He said taking her hand and lightly dragging her towards another place and to one that seemed a little more empty since it was quite a distance away from the stadium.

Yuna smiled at that. It was a good answer and she couldn't really argue against it.

"Sure!" She happily followed him feeling a little giddy as they walked into the establishment. It was a nice place and while there was still a happy buzz of noise and laughter it was more subdued compared to where they were before.

Yuna took a seat releasing Fai's hand with a smile. "What would you like to drink?" She hadn't asked last time.

Fai waited until she was sitting down before taking a seat himself. With a small smile he figured he'd just go for the same thing that he had at the other place "I think I'll stick with the same thing, a beer."

Seemed like the safer option as well.

Yuna nodded and then waved someone down to take their order. Once that was out of the way she rested her elbows on the table with a content sigh. It was nice to see everyone so excited.

A few minutes later there beer's showed up and Yuna's finger lightly drumming against the cold glass before taking a sip.

"I can't wait to see how all the other games go."

"I'm sure they will go well. Until then I will make plans for when they do go well." He had already taken a sip from his own beer before lightly placing the glass back down.

"I have faith you'll take your team far. You;ve all worked hard after all."

Yuna looked up at him curiously. “Plans?” She wasn’t sure if that should worry her or not.

"If you get further in the competition, I want to do something, of course." He gives off a smile that one couldn't tell what was behind it. Sure he was planning something, but he sure didn't want her to figure it out any time soon. At least not until he decided.

"That's all I need to say really. But when you finish you drink the next one is on me, okay?"

"Okay."

She smiled with him but she could tell that there was something beneath his smile. She was, after all, a master at smiling even when happiness wasn't the most prevalent emotion.

Yuna took a long sip of her drink leaving only an inch of dark liquid at the bottom of her glass. "How about you give me a hint?"

"Why would you want a hint when surprise is all the more fun~" He said in his most cheeriest voice he could muster really. He wanted to keep it a secret, but maybe he could play ball and be a tiny bit nice.

He had finished his own drink before calling over the waiter to take another order. "So what is your next drink of choice, hm?"

Yuna smiled. “Surprise me.” It was a fitting answer considering what they were talking about before and in truth she didn’t have a preference. As long as it wasn’t what Auron usually drank she’d be fine.

"Then I will surprise you when it comes around. If it comes around of course." He said with a small smile, placing the order of two very different drinks that Fai honestly had no clue what was in it before watching him walk off.

"This will be the first surprise. Figuring out what is in the drink I just ordered. When it comes of course."

Yuna laughed softly. "Do you know what the drink is? How will I know if I'm right?"

She had experimented with different alcohol's before but she never tried to guess what they were and most of those experiments didn't go very well.

"Because I saw it on the menu. Which reminds me." he makes sure there is no sign of what drink he had ordered, just in case. It was the best way after all and after he had done he smiled.

"Once it comes we begin. We can talk until then at least."

"It begins... you mean this game?" Somehow Fai's silliness always made Yuna smiled. She rested her chin in the palm of her hands watching Fai curiously.

"Yes, although as I said it really begins when the drinks arrive, Until then we wait and talk." he knew it would take at least another minute to make anyway. "So do you have any idea what it might be?"

"I don't." Yuna wasn't very good at guessing games and as her curiosity grew she found them to be frustrating and unfair. Not to say that she was a sore loser.

"Maybe it will be a present?" Her pointer lightly tapped against her chin with a smile as her eyes watched Fai for any indication that she might be right.

He shook his hair slightly "No that isn't until further down the line depending on how you do in the cup." As he spoke he raised his finger, lightly putting it up to his lips as the waiter was soon with a couple glasses, both of which had a little fire going.

"Thank you" he said as he watched the waiter put the glasses down before walking off as Fai blew out the little flame. "Good luck."

Yuna looked at the drink curiously. It wasn't anything like she was used to drinking and it was on fire. Which she really wasn't used too. She followed his example and blew out the little flame.

She brought the drink tentatively to her lips and then took a sip. She didn't know what she was expecting but the taste managed to surprise her.

Fai had managed to take a big swig of his before looking over "Anything come to mind? I will admit a couple of them are alcoholic drinks in there and the rest aren't."

Yuna looked down curiously before taking another sip. "I don't know." She kept taking sips trying to pin point it but she was at a loss.

So she guessed. "Is it vodka?" That seemed to be common in drinks and she knew it wasn't beer.
