Summary: Blitzball! ~ Feel free to run into Yuna during all and anything. These are just general things if you wish to run into her.
Warning: Maybe be profanity and swearing because…fans. Nothing crazy or bad!

Player Meetings

Yuna was excited to meet players that she hadn’t had the chance to greet before. She’s been on the team for a couple of months now and she still hadn’t met all the players on the other teams. She had met a few in passing but it was nothing like this.

Celes was excited. He was using this chance to get his Blitzball signed by all his favorite star athletes. Yuna followed him with a wide grin, greeting the players while Celes gushed about how great they were.

After they finished going around Celes turned to Yuna. His cheeks were flushed a slight hint of red as he held out his prized Blitzball towards Yuna. “Will you sign it too?” He couldn’t say it but Celes was Yuna’s biggest fan.

Souvenir’s, Food and Drink

Yuna was staying away from the Vuvuzela’s though that didn’t mean she didn’t hear them. Luckily sound traveled differently in water so during the match all the cheering became a dull clamor in the back ground of the playing sphere.

She finally got a break and she decided to take a look at the shops and the stands. There was so much to see. She wanted to get an Aqures Chocobo shirt but she couldn’t wear it during the match and she already had Aqures Chocobo pajama’s thanks to Celes. She smiled at the stands deciding to get something light eat for now. She’d have to get back soon anyway but it was nice to absorb the excitement from those who loved Blitzball as much as she did.

She pouted for a moment longer before her lips slipped into a warm smile. "Okay!" She laced her fingers together placing her chin on them humming softly.

"What time is it?" Yuna assumed that it was dark and with the light buzzing in her head she felt as if it might be a good time to head home, Celes would be worried.

Fai looked over for any sign that there was a clock or something that could tell the time and it didn't take him long to notice such a thing.

"Let's just say it's getting late. Time to head home." He looked outside and he could tell it was getting dark at least as she got to his feet, holding out his hand for the other to take.

She took his hand, happy for the help up. Yuna swayed slightly catching herself by stepping forward. The room was spinning or her head felt like it was swimming. It was a little hard to tell which.

She looked up at Fai seeing his face clearly among the hazy blur. “Can you walk me home?” She wasn’t in a good place to put up an argument about how she wanted to walk him home. Maybe after they are outside and the cold air has had a chance to grip her senses.

"I can, though maybe there are other better options to get you home." She now though he'll just happily guide her out of the pub and turn left, starting to make there way back to hers.

"A better way?" It was to hard for Yuna to think considering most of her effort went towards walking.

He nodded, he knew of this way from having to carry Sakura like this from time to time. So as he stopped walking, making sure that Yuna was still, he scooped her up bridal style.

"This should make the journey much easier, wouldn't you think?"

Yuna yelped softly as he lifted her into his arms. Her fingers found his shirt and gripped to him as if the world would tumble away if she didn’t. Her face flushed a little brighter feeling the warmth and comfort of Fai’s arms as he carried her.

“Yeah…” She paused looking up at him before resting her head against his shoulder. “Thank you.”

Yuna’s voice was soft when she spoke, her eyes slipping closed as the rhythm of his gait began to lull her to sleep. His scent filled her nose and like their little drinking game she tried to place all of the smells. There was the faint smell of a baker and then the soft hint of sugar, there is something round which she assumes is from his clothing or the bar. Then there is the soft scent of something else and she can only guess that it is Fai himself and with each step she losses herself in that scent letting it pull her focus from the cold night air and the pressure of his arms as he held her.

He quietly walked her back home, keeping her close, making sure that she doesn't get cold in the night sky. With each step his eyes glanced from one spot to another, checking to see every so often to see where he was so he wouldn't get lost.

Soon he found he could see the houses and he was sure now where to go. However it wasn't going to be easy to get in without her first opening the door with her own key.

"Yuna-chan." His voice was low so to check if she was awake or not. If she wasn't then he figured he could go through with another idea.

She stirred at the soft promise of her name, her mismatched eyes fluttering open slowly. She looked up at Fai under long lashes as she worked to wake herself up.

"Fai?" She had to remember what they were doing and for some reason her head really hurt. She saw her house and realized that he probably wanted to get inside. Her movements were slow and to Yuna it felt like a strange dream. She awkwardly slipped her hand into her shorts pocket pulling out a small silver key.

She held it up so that Fai can see as if this answered the question that her name insighted.

He nodded slightly, knowing that right now he should gently put her down so she could open the door. After that he figured he'd help her to her room after that and make sure she is safely in bed before he would go.

"You just need to open your door and I'll help you the rest of the way."

Yuna’s feet felt heavy as they lightly pressed against the hard earth. She kept one hand clinging to the fabric of his shirt as she unsteadily stepped forward. It took her a few tries to get the key in and then turned. She gently kicked the door open and then pocked the key.

She felt like she was in a dream which made her movements sluggish and measured.

Yuna looked up at Fai stumbling back against him. “Door opened.” She smiled like it was a mission complete.

"I can see that Yuna-ella. Now lets' get you to your room in the basement... I assume it's still in the basement." He smiled as he gently picked her up again bridal style as he started to head towards the stairs to the basement.

He was thankful that the house was very similar to the one he was currently living at including the steps to the basement. So he carefully walked down the stairs towards the basement before he moved to the bed.

"Here we are, nice and safe in your home."

She nodded absently as he scooped her back into his arms. She was much shorter than him and not too difficult to carry though the doorways. Her room was set up as it was before except there were a few more personal items scattered around as well as a pair of Blitzball pajama’s that Celes had gotten Yuna as a gift.

The ex summoner mumbles softly as he places her down and she feels a little sad when his warmth pulled away. She curled up on the bed looking up at Fai with a slight pout across her lips, it’s still a little hard to tell if she’s asleep or awake but its most likely somewhere in the middle. As her head presses against the pillow it begs for sleep though she has enough though to say one more thing.

“Do you have to go?” Her voice was soft as if she might be dreaming but there was the slight sound of pleading to her tone that suggested that she didn’t want him to leave.

Fai had knelt down to make sure that the covers were over her when he heard her speaking. Did he have to go? He wondered why she would want him to stay, then again he did always share places with friends, but this was actually rather different than his travels.

"If you don't want me to, I won't, but that will mean making a place on the floor."

Yuna nodded and mumbled something incoherent. She reached out, though the blankets got in her way, trying to tug on Fai's shirt as if indicating he should stay. It was a strange sentiment but Yuna was also used to sleeping with her friends nearby and with Celes off to who knows where, Yuna didn't want to be alone.

Normally she would have hid it but in her tired, drunk state, she's at the mercy of this emotions she usually pushes aside.

He smiled softly, she was kind of adorable in this kind of state as he had gone about going to search for an extra pillow and blankets. His reason was simply to make sure that she was okay through the night and that nothing would happen.

So with the blanket and pillow in hand be placed them on the floor, settling down to lie down. It was going to be uncomfortable but he didn't mind as he closed his eyes, drifting off into sleep.
