I came in like a Blitzball

A) Blitzball!

[Minako stood holding the ball firmly in her grasp. Sure she wasn't swimming in water right now but it didn't stop her from trying to train every so often. So setting up a couple of targets on the streets she was ready to start practising her passes as she knew she needed some improvement over that more than anything. So with her eyes firmly placed upon her intended target with another blocking her way, Minako aimed and threw with a little too much might sending it flying, hitting the target sending that flying back with the ball still going.

Before Minako had a chance to react and chase after the ball it managed to hit some poor unsuspecting passer-by, causing Minako to rush on over with a genuine look of concern.]

Are you okay? Are you bleeding anywhere?

B) C-01

[With today's rather eventful practice clear in her mind, Minako had set about simply relaxing at home and doodling to Billy's chores chart, because no way in hell she was going to do them unless her moogle asked her to. With the pen in her hand she set about drawing various doodles across before before stepping back and admiring her work. She was happy with that as she closed the lid of the pen before putting it away and heading to the kitchen fully expecting her moogle to be there. But he wasn't. As she thought about where he could possibly be, her stomach started to grumble. She was hungry and she wasn't sure how long she could wait until she starved to death. So she set about setting something up and cook herself. After all it couldn't be that hard, right?

She was to soon find out how not easy it was as within minutes she had somehow managed to set a pan on fire. Panicking she rushed over to quickly grab a pan of water to throw at the flaming inferno. Some of the water completely missed while some of it managed to hit it dead on. It helped a little bit, but not enough as Minako ran to grab a damp table clothe and throw that on instead. That seemed to do the trick as all she could do now was sigh with relief. Anyone who came on at this point will be welcomed with smoke coming from the kitchen and a mess that was within it.]

Well considering the amount of people I've hit in that spot... I probably am not the best judge of spots.

[No more than two people at least she managed to hit that was still two more than needed.]

This looks fine. Let's get started.

[She moved quickly away, Blitzball firmly in her grasp as she spun on her heel.]

Okay going to see your reflexes so I will throw this as hard as I can and you simply try and catch it, okay?

[pole_position]

Okay.

[Pyrrha crouches down slightly, putting herself in a posture that will be easy to move from in nearly any direction. She's never played blitzball before, but she's had plenty of physical training, and her form is nearly perfect.]

Ready when you are.

[She nodded slightly, she knew that her aim should be spot on, but she was also use to trying to hit a ball that wouldn't be aimed at people thanks to volleyball. So trying her best to focus as she swung the ball back and then threw it hard and fast forward, aiming directly at the other.]

Heads up!

[Pyrrha plants her feet as her arms shoot out in front of her to make the catch, stopping the ball with a firm grip.]

Got it!

[She nodded slightly. That was pretty good. But she felt like next time to make it a bit of a challenge or something. Make it harder for some reason.]

Congrats~ Great catch. Okay throw it to me.

Right! Here I go.

[Taking a moment to get used to the weight and feel of the ball, Pyrrha draws her arm back before throwing it back as hard as she can.]

[Minako could see the force that had gone in to it as she managed to catch it just before to smacked her in the face as well. Well she could have let it, but deep down she refused to let her face get a smack by a ball.]

That is a lot of force behind it already. I figure if your luck you could get to the main team quickly.

[Pyrrha smiles, raising her hand to brush a wisp of hair out of her face as she walks back over.]

What position do you think I should try to play?

I don't know. I mean I think any would be suitable. Except goalie I guess.

[She had to really think about it since she didn't even know what positions she wanted.]

Well, I suppose time will tell. I think I know everything I need to for now. Where do I sign up?

You'd need to go to the stadium and odds are you'll actually be out in a situation so they can test you out themselves.

[pole_position]

That makes sense. I'll head there next, then.

Do you want me to show you where it is, or do ou think you can find it?

No, I should be all right from here. I'm certain I'll see you again soon.

[Smiling, she puts out a hand for a shake.]

[She soon let go, giving a small smile before she turned around and started to head off. She had other things to do really apart from practice and she figured she might as well get to it.]
