A) Blitzball!

[Minako stood holding the ball firmly in her grasp. Sure she wasn't swimming in water right now but it didn't stop her from trying to train every so often. So setting up a couple of targets on the streets she was ready to start practising her passes as she knew she needed some improvement over that more than anything. So with her eyes firmly placed upon her intended target with another blocking her way, Minako aimed and threw with a little too much might sending it flying, hitting the target sending that flying back with the ball still going.

Before Minako had a chance to react and chase after the ball it managed to hit some poor unsuspecting passer-by, causing Minako to rush on over with a genuine look of concern.]

Are you okay? Are you bleeding anywhere?

B) C-01

[With today's rather eventful practice clear in her mind, Minako had set about simply relaxing at home and doodling to Billy's chores chart, because no way in hell she was going to do them unless her moogle asked her to. With the pen in her hand she set about drawing various doodles across before before stepping back and admiring her work. She was happy with that as she closed the lid of the pen before putting it away and heading to the kitchen fully expecting her moogle to be there. But he wasn't. As she thought about where he could possibly be, her stomach started to grumble. She was hungry and she wasn't sure how long she could wait until she starved to death. So she set about setting something up and cook herself. After all it couldn't be that hard, right?

She was to soon find out how not easy it was as within minutes she had somehow managed to set a pan on fire. Panicking she rushed over to quickly grab a pan of water to throw at the flaming inferno. Some of the water completely missed while some of it managed to hit it dead on. It helped a little bit, but not enough as Minako ran to grab a damp table clothe and throw that on instead. That seemed to do the trick as all she could do now was sigh with relief. Anyone who came on at this point will be welcomed with smoke coming from the kitchen and a mess that was within it.]

Honestly it does this on its own. Anything I try to do to calm it down just makes it worse.

I've got nothing on my friend Zack though. His hair is all over the place. I think it's something that happens when you become a SOLDIER.

How is it something when you become a SOLDIER?

[Though she can only imagine Zack's hair since she never met him before.]

SOLDIER is this elite unit in the ShinRa military. Those who get into it, especially those at the higher ranks, have been enhanced thanks to Mako energy infusion.

[And other things as well, but even with his knowledge of the future Cloud doesn't know all the details.]

I left home and went to Midgar hoping to join SOLDIER, be a First Class like my hero. When I got there they pretty much immediately told me I was no good and I just wound up as an infantryman. If it wasn't for Zack and that Turk I probably wouldn't have lasted long either.

[Minako actually paused to listen to what he said. That must have been horrible to be told you couldn't do something you had your heart set on. She knew she would hate being told she could never be an idol.]

Wow... So you had your heart set on a job. Told you weren't good enough must have sucked, but then if it weren't for people who knew you... Wow. Your life is pretty much something I would have never heard in my world.

Looking back on it though I don't know if I really was ready for it. I was doing it just to prove that all the people back home were wrong about me and that I could make something of myself. I was a little too angry and a little too much in a rush to grow up.

[His expression turns sad at the admission. He's not the same boy who ran away from home, even if it wasn't that long ago back in his world. He went through a lot and grew up quick but the people he met in Midgar helped shape him into a better person.]

Well, you've learnt from it, I guess. Though I think you've grown up now while being here, right? Or am I just thinking things because you sound mature to me.

[Hands behind her back lightly for a moment.]

I think so. I know a little bit about what happens in my future back home too. Right now...We're a little bit past the point where it would have happened. I mean. If I wound up going home as I am now things would be completely different.

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

The others are saying our futures can't be changed but I want to believe.

Really? I guess that is true... [Although most of what happens to her is already past, all that was left was Usagi becoming who she was meant to be and the start of her empire, but she was sure they would be okay without there leader being there.]

I like to think that to and for you, I hope it is the case.
