Here's hoping for a Christmas Miracle
Who: Ramza, Jack, Ashe, Chrom, Zelda, OU Yuna, MarKus, any other volunteers
What: Ramza is proposing a Christmas time peace with the Empire to deliver presentsand warning Kurma that his city is going to be a crystal in a month or so.
Where: The Imperial Capital
When: December 24th (crazy forward dated)
Warnings: There will probably be consequences for our stupidity. This may include, but is not limited to, death, torture, capture, immolation, and/or extreme exasperation on the parts of all NPCs involved.
Ramza was not sure whether it was the ‘Santa’ job affecting him, or if it was his own ideals, but either way, as Christmas approached, he knew what he needed to do. The Heroes of Light had reached out and given gifts to the kids of every city but one. The Imperial children, the ones who were in imminent danger of crystallization in the upcoming months, had not been visited by Santa and his helpers. Even if Cid was convinced the Empire was full of monsters, Ramza could not believe that of the children. There were lives worth saving there, and he would not write them off.
If there was ever a time to reach out to the Empire, it was now. Ramza had a bag full of presents, and he was certain that if he could just explain his reasoning, he would be allowed in to distribute them. And once inside, perhaps he could find Kurma and warn him of what they’d learned from the Sage on the Continent of Ruin.
They had failed to save the people of Aqures Tosf, and Ramza was determined to never let a tragedy of that magnitude happen again, not even if it killed him.

"No... no you're right. I am impulsive. So what, do I just get sent to jail because I get a little passionate about shit?" he scolds. With Kurma's point already proven, he just folds his arms and does his best not to pout like a child while still playing with the action figure he'd designed in his hand.
"I'm not dumb enough to try and just assassinate anyone but... tch... I guess I'm left on gift delivery, or what?"

"Just... Get better clothes or something before tonight."
Eyes resting on Ramza in particular as he said that. Then he implied a facepalm in Markus' general direction.
"Thank you for confirming my opinion. As I said, leave the office, Gibbs will take care of you."

She looked at the group that had been chosen for the dinner and gave and approving nod. It had occurred to her to give Ramza her extra hidden blade for his own protection if it seemed like he was being walked into a trap. However, the way things were unfolding and the way Ashelia thanked Kurma made her rethink that plan.
"MarKus lay off. It's just as well anyway. You don't want a pirate ruining a posh dinner now do you?" She remained as tense as ever though. She expected she wouldn't feel calm at all until they were back on the streets of Aqures Ixen.

What a way to be an adult, eh?

He wondered to himself if they could safely shop for clothing in the Empire, but he refrained from asking Kurma. The man looked a step away from lobbing rocks at their head, and Ramza had no illusions that he would be pleased to have even more to do.
[[Should we start a new thread for the dinner or keep going here?]]

It was more than enough to thrust her back into the moment, now looking at the other three that had been chosen. A dinner with Garland?! Clasping her hands together in front of her, Yuna stepped forward, trying hard to swallow down that lump in her throat, and turning to give her cousin a confident look. It's all right, she seemed to say silently to her guardian. I'll definitely come back, so please don't worry.
And forward again she turned, eyeing the three of them again -- Ramza, Ashelia and Chrom -- with the slightest of nods.
( ooc; i'm cool with whatever! though a new thread might help for organization? )

He glanced at Ramza, and offered a little shrug. Certainly he would be pleased to accept the invitation, and he didn't think he would botch it up horribly.
At least, he hoped not. Etiquette wasn't his strongest skill, but he still knew something of the matter.
But if there was one thing he could be relieved about, it was a change of clothing. He just hoped they had something that fit his new...er...size. Damn those cookies to hell.
