Event || The New Year

Characters: Anyone!
Where: The Enterprise.
When: The Night from December 31st to January 1st.
Summary: A Ball aboard the Enterprise, for well-dressed (mostly) Heroes of Light and their friends who want to dance and (especially) eat for free.
Warning: Nothing.

While the passing from a year to another isn't as big of an event as the Starlight Celebration, it is no reason to pass up an ocasion to celebrate and have fun. There are fireworks in all major cities and various activities to enjoy. Noticeably, there are gatherings of people in Aqures Ixen and Trano Golsaucia in particular, if only to conclude what is one of the most celebrated week in the year, and wish to each other the best possible year to come-- Though most people are worried about what's to come soon. After all, the end might be nigh with the Calamity about to take over the planet...

To celebrate this, the Heroes of Light have all been invited to stay aboard the Enterprise for a particularly prestigious and animated Ball. Indeed, the Enterprise will from Aqures Ixen and go all the way to Mysidia at midnight-- This way, New Year is going to last even longer than normal thanks to the magic of timezones.

There are tables with foods for everyone to eat and of course, music for people to dance together if they so wish. There is also a consequent number of chairs lined up, for all those who refuse to dance or are too awkward to do so.

I guess different worlds and all it's like that.

[He puts a finger to his cheek to scratch it lightly. All worlds were different after all, so he knew for a fact there were going to be many differences. However there was one thing he was curious about.]

Can I ask what games are like in your world?

Huh? Games? What kinda games? Like the board game kind or the video game kind? [That's a hard thing to compare. Were they that different from world to world?]

Any and all... it... is a bit odd to ask, isn't it. I.. just like games.

[He gave a nervous laugh, looking away. He felt awkward even asking it now. Maybe it had not been the best idea after all.]

'S just, y'know, a broad category is all. I mean, we got all 'a those. I ain't ever got much time for it. Was always fond of sims, myself. Though last time I tried it out, the AI went haywire 'n stopped doin' what I was telling it to do.

[He frowns remembering that incident, but refuses to go into details about exactly what it was he was doing with it. It was pretty embarrassing.]

Got so bad that a Troubleshooter picked up on it and had to bail me out. Which is okay by me. Troubleshooters 'r great. They're so cool.

So you have a game that has an AI? That's not something I've got back home, so it sounds pretty cool.

[The more he is talking about it, the more he appears to be smiling.]

Though what is a Troubleshooter?

I mean, we just got, like AI. All over the place. Robots. Doors. That kinda stuff.

[It's all so normal to Sparks, but since he hasn't really met anyone from his timeline that he doesn't already know here, it must all sound very novel.

Talking about Troubleshooters seems to bring out an inner glow in the marshal not normally seen, though.]

Troubleshooters right the software wrongs throughout the galaxy. Savin' the day when no one else can. And they're just... they're just so cool.

[Yugi just pictured futuristic type things the more he spoke. Which was really different than what his world was like really. Sure they had holograms but that was about as futuristic than anything.]

So they do things that help? If I am getting it right.
