Event || The New Year

Where: The Enterprise.
When: The Night from December 31st to January 1st.
Summary: A Ball aboard the Enterprise, for well-dressed (mostly) Heroes of Light and their friends who want to dance and (especially) eat for free.
Warning: Nothing.

While the passing from a year to another isn't as big of an event as the Starlight Celebration, it is no reason to pass up an ocasion to celebrate and have fun. There are fireworks in all major cities and various activities to enjoy. Noticeably, there are gatherings of people in Aqures Ixen and Trano Golsaucia in particular, if only to conclude what is one of the most celebrated week in the year, and wish to each other the best possible year to come-- Though most people are worried about what's to come soon. After all, the end might be nigh with the Calamity about to take over the planet...

To celebrate this, the Heroes of Light have all been invited to stay aboard the Enterprise for a particularly prestigious and animated Ball. Indeed, the Enterprise will from Aqures Ixen and go all the way to Mysidia at midnight-- This way, New Year is going to last even longer than normal thanks to the magic of timezones.

There are tables with foods for everyone to eat and of course, music for people to dance together if they so wish. There is also a consequent number of chairs lined up, for all those who refuse to dance or are too awkward to do so.

[She tilted her head for a bit before giving a firm nod.]

It is fun. I mean throwing a ball full force in water is a lot of exercise as well, so I'm always keeping fit and healthy. [She seemed more excited as she spoke about the subject her hands clenched as she moved onto more important topics. Idols.]

That's right! Singing, dancing, acting... I actually can do it all and yet still not an idol

They're okay, I guess. I'm kind of a hard rock 'n metal sorta dude, so local folks tunes ain't the most exciting things. But they get better tips.

Heh. Well, I don't think this place has the concept of idols. Maybe if ya get famous playin' Blitzball, you can use that as a stepping stone to stardom. [Not that there are many celebrities on Crystallis, but everyone had to start somewhere.]

So you have yet to find the right crowd. Once you do you would get better tips doing the songs you like.

Who knows, but I like Blitzball... Maybe I'll stay with it because I do love sports as well.

If there's an audience for metal outside of the Heroes, I ain't met 'em yet. Doesn't mean I don't try sometime. But Megadeath doesn't really sound the same comin' out of an acoustic guitar anyway.

There ya go, you can be a sports idol. Sell t-shirts, get some sponsors, inspire kids into takin' up the hobby. All the stuff sport stars do. All the good stuff, anyway.

Then you teach these people the ways of the Megadetah... If I got that right. They won't like something they know something about, so teaching them is the best first step.
