What: Kuwabara and Yusuke are feeling a little down since the settlement, now they’re here to lighten things up with some good old fashion fun.
Warnings: Childish water violence, maybe some profanity, but general fun.

Things haven’t been quite as serious here since coming to this part of continent, and maybe that was the good thing. Since arriving in Crystallis, things have been grim and unfavorable. None to kind, filled with harsh lessons and ugly realities. Typical life bullshit everyone had to deal with.

But while the mood was light, and they could take a breather for a change, the boys decided to make the most of it. It just so happens this stupid world managed to carry some familiar toys. Being these so-called heroes gave them a decent wage, and they used some of their gil to invest in various types of water guns. What others might consider a waste, the young adults considered money well spent. They went through the trouble of filling them, and hiding them throughout the town for others to find.

Without warning, Kuwabara will find himself gunned down with a line of water hitting his face. Kuwabara was just one of many targets to come. Yusuke already hit some unsuspecting natives. Not everyone could appreciate a good laugh, but who the hell cares?

The mood was too dim for the both of them and having suffering losses on both their ends, it seemed fitting to do something they typically do, even as adults in which included a lot of immature pranks towards each other and forgetting who got caught in the crossfire with them. Kuwabara was a bit more lenient and strayed from the female population while, Yusuke seemed to be getting Kuwabara’s nagging about hitting girls.

“Oi Urameshi that’s cheating! You could have waited half a second!” the older teenage boy with the bright orange hair retorted as he was splashed in the face with water and having it hit him square in the face and up his nose! He’s none too happy before he sends a large blast of water from one of the larger water guns in Yusuke face.

“Then don’t let your guard down. Now pipe down, here comes some people now.”

Yusuke sat perched, not far from his friend, on top of a building. He quietly waited for the upcoming victims to walk within range of the water gun he held. Give that his spirit energy was in the form of a gun, his aim was pretty good. The former detective pulled his trigger just at the right moment.

Once Anise had caught wind of what was going on, it hadn't taken her long to grab her own water gun and join the fray. The last few months had been pretty stressful, and these kind of shenanigans were what she lived for.

If she had one advantage, it was that she was small. And she was using this to her full advantage. Boxes, crates, barrels, anything that conceivably make good
cover she was willing to use.

She wasn't being very picky with targets, either. People she knew or wanted to torture (which were almost exclusively the same group) took priority, but anybody she could get a good shot on was fair game.

Before Anise could really get her hands on anyone, someone else got their hands on her. Not to say that Yuri liked to bully little kids, but he knew that the little girl was hardly the docile type. There's a loud spray of cold water right at Anise's back, followed by a loud chuckle from her favourite vagabond of an ally.

Of course, he obviously had future plans on recruiting her to Brave Vesperia just like he did in the vision. She seemed like a useful asset and it wasn't like he'd put a leash on her anyway. He also knew that it was something he needed to talk to her about since the both of them had a rough time in the vision.

Who knew that she and him shared some similar characteristics or that she would in the future count him as a friend? In any case, he didn't actually believe it too hard to assume that things would be sunshine and rainbows.

Anise was incredibly grateful for Yuri, and all the help he'd given her during the vision. She didn't really have very many people that she could rely on, here or back home, but Yuri was quickly becoming one of the select few.

But that was long-term. In the short-term, she was very wet, and very angry. She turned around quickly to face Yuri, her childlike rage apparent.

"Hey, no fair!"

He was only doing what she'd been doing before but...she wasn't going to admit that.

Short term was what Yuri lived for anyway. The short term determined the long term in his opinion. In any case, he was staring a slightly ticked off teenage girl who didn't seem happy at his attempt to get her from behind.

He had to admit, her reaction was pretty typical of someone her age. So Anise had a sort of childish side to her that wasn't so well-- strange from time to time. After all, he had only seen most of her serious side in a vision that he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to completely believe.

"All is fair in a game, Anise," he chuckled as he shot another stream of water at her face. Of course, he had yet to find a proper nickname for the girl so she got to be addressed by her name a bit longer.

Oh, that was it. Anise was about to go all out after the fair comment, but if Yuri was gonna play like that, it was on.

Once she shook herself dry, she immediately retaliated, stepping back as she did so. Hopefully, it would be enough to catch Yuri off-guard while she ran for cover.

Yuri did as well when he saw her move.

Of course, he wasn't going to pick on a little girl too much but all was fair in a water gun fight. He's rather enjoying this. He's already making his escape route as she stepped back. He'd have to find a better position to hit her with though.

"Wait, where'd he go!?"

By the time that Anise made it out, Yuri was already out of sight. You'd think that by this time she would've realized that she shouldn't be out in the open, as it made her an obvious target.

But she hadn't, and basically had a giant bullseye on her back.

Yuri's laughing to himself as the bewildered girl was looking for him. He admitted he was a huge jerk sometimes but it wasn't like Anise was the innocent little girl type either. While she was basically in the open, Yuri flings himself from a nearby building and comes flying down at her with his water gun, shooting streams of water.

"C'mon Anise you got to try harder than that!"

Don't ask how he even managed to get up there in the first place.

Meredy had been blissfully unaware of what was going on with the whole war of the waterguns... until a wet splat caught her right in the face. "Baiba!" she exclaimed, Quickie jumping off from his perch and assuming a defensive stance as she wiped her eyes.

"What -- what was that?!" water, to be sure, but she still had no idea where it came from and spun around on her heel to try and get a glimpse of her assailant.

"Bullseye!"

From Meredy's line of sight, her assailant was in plain view. Even though Anise knew it wasn't the smartest decision, she couldn't help herself from snickering, only half-hidden by one of the crates.

"B-bullseye!" so this girl was trying to hit her, after all? And now she was laughing about it! "Ooouu!" she stomped her feet as a soft -- "Kwik wik!" sounded at her feet.

Bless Quickie's heart because he'd gone through the trouble of retrieving a water gun for her! "Ah!" now she had a fighting chance! "Take that!" she cried, aiming the weapon straight towards Anise, and pulling the trigger.
