What: Kuwabara and Yusuke are feeling a little down since the settlement, now they’re here to lighten things up with some good old fashion fun.
Warnings: Childish water violence, maybe some profanity, but general fun.

Things haven’t been quite as serious here since coming to this part of continent, and maybe that was the good thing. Since arriving in Crystallis, things have been grim and unfavorable. None to kind, filled with harsh lessons and ugly realities. Typical life bullshit everyone had to deal with.

But while the mood was light, and they could take a breather for a change, the boys decided to make the most of it. It just so happens this stupid world managed to carry some familiar toys. Being these so-called heroes gave them a decent wage, and they used some of their gil to invest in various types of water guns. What others might consider a waste, the young adults considered money well spent. They went through the trouble of filling them, and hiding them throughout the town for others to find.

Without warning, Kuwabara will find himself gunned down with a line of water hitting his face. Kuwabara was just one of many targets to come. Yusuke already hit some unsuspecting natives. Not everyone could appreciate a good laugh, but who the hell cares?

The mood was too dim for the both of them and having suffering losses on both their ends, it seemed fitting to do something they typically do, even as adults in which included a lot of immature pranks towards each other and forgetting who got caught in the crossfire with them. Kuwabara was a bit more lenient and strayed from the female population while, Yusuke seemed to be getting Kuwabara’s nagging about hitting girls.

“Oi Urameshi that’s cheating! You could have waited half a second!” the older teenage boy with the bright orange hair retorted as he was splashed in the face with water and having it hit him square in the face and up his nose! He’s none too happy before he sends a large blast of water from one of the larger water guns in Yusuke face.

“Then don’t let your guard down. Now pipe down, here comes some people now.”

Yusuke sat perched, not far from his friend, on top of a building. He quietly waited for the upcoming victims to walk within range of the water gun he held. Give that his spirit energy was in the form of a gun, his aim was pretty good. The former detective pulled his trigger just at the right moment.

"You coulda warned me or something! Sneakin' up like that ain't co--"

He stopped talking when Yusuke told him to shut up, and frowning still at that. Of course, he knew better since the both of them were aiming to mess around with people and make their names known. Since it's been a rough seven months altogether, he's going to let off some steam and hope folks didn't take it too seriously.

Either way, he'd probably make sure he's not hitting any girls. That's definitely one thing he wanted to avoid. He admitted his aim was pretty well too and he was totally okay hitting people only in the front though instead of sneaking around.

"I sure hope they got some humor. I ain't sure how they'll react if they don't like it."

The unsuspecting bystandards were struck by the streams of water. Two of which reacted in shock, but didn't evolve into anything more. The last of the three began to yell in frustration, the very thing Kuwabara had just mentioned.

"If he tries anything we'll just knock him out."

Yusuke mentions casually, like it was a normal solution to an everyday problem...well it was Yusuke's solution to his problems anyway.

Kuwabara had to keep himself from chuckling too loud when he hits someone square in the face and watch them stare at him like he was crazy. They were teenagers who needed some sort of action and needless to say, it wasn't too against his code. He wasn't really bullying anyone per say, honestly.

"Sounds about the plan, but I ain't sure that's the best way ta handle it. What if they bring back friends or somethin?' Are we gonna shoot 'em too?"

He replied raising a brow.

Once Anise had caught wind of what was going on, it hadn't taken her long to grab her own water gun and join the fray. The last few months had been pretty stressful, and these kind of shenanigans were what she lived for.

If she had one advantage, it was that she was small. And she was using this to her full advantage. Boxes, crates, barrels, anything that conceivably make good
cover she was willing to use.

She wasn't being very picky with targets, either. People she knew or wanted to torture (which were almost exclusively the same group) took priority, but anybody she could get a good shot on was fair game.

Before Anise could really get her hands on anyone, someone else got their hands on her. Not to say that Yuri liked to bully little kids, but he knew that the little girl was hardly the docile type. There's a loud spray of cold water right at Anise's back, followed by a loud chuckle from her favourite vagabond of an ally.

Of course, he obviously had future plans on recruiting her to Brave Vesperia just like he did in the vision. She seemed like a useful asset and it wasn't like he'd put a leash on her anyway. He also knew that it was something he needed to talk to her about since the both of them had a rough time in the vision.

Who knew that she and him shared some similar characteristics or that she would in the future count him as a friend? In any case, he didn't actually believe it too hard to assume that things would be sunshine and rainbows.

Anise was incredibly grateful for Yuri, and all the help he'd given her during the vision. She didn't really have very many people that she could rely on, here or back home, but Yuri was quickly becoming one of the select few.

But that was long-term. In the short-term, she was very wet, and very angry. She turned around quickly to face Yuri, her childlike rage apparent.

"Hey, no fair!"

He was only doing what she'd been doing before but...she wasn't going to admit that.

Meredy had been blissfully unaware of what was going on with the whole war of the waterguns... until a wet splat caught her right in the face. "Baiba!" she exclaimed, Quickie jumping off from his perch and assuming a defensive stance as she wiped her eyes.

"What -- what was that?!" water, to be sure, but she still had no idea where it came from and spun around on her heel to try and get a glimpse of her assailant.

From Meredy's line of sight, her assailant was in plain view. Even though Anise knew it wasn't the smartest decision, she couldn't help herself from snickering, only half-hidden by one of the crates.

Yuri also found himself a nice coloured gun that he was messing with for some time before he got the hang of it. He'll definitely be out to mess around with people when he got the chance to. These punk ass guys were enjoying the game too much, leaving their loot for people to steal-- or simply leaving it there so people would steal it. Either way, Yuri was already on the roll. He's mighty amused as he searched for people he actually knew, mainly his friends like Rukia, Yuffie and Flynn.

Of course, other friends and allies were not free from him. Eventually, he found a good target and there's a loud spray of water right at their back. Sorry folks, Yuri's not going to be sorry for his manners at all.

Some time in the middle of the free-for-all, Yusuke crossed paths with the long haired male. One Yusuke wasn't familiar with, but he was wielding a water gun, so he was here to play. Yusuke pressed himself against a building out of sight. Once Yuri stumbled within firing range, he'll discover a stream of water aimed straight for him.

That stream of water barely misses his face as he moves to the side to dodge it. Nice aim stranger. He's going to shoot another blast your direction. Playing dirty aren't we? Well, he can certainly play this came too. Hell, he was starting to find this amusing if he could find someone to hit up without getting them mad on.

[Dropping in behind him like a highly trained assassin, Flynn let loose the water gun aimed at Yuri's luxurious hair.]

Take that, evil doer! Justice prevails again!

[ Sorry Flynn, he heard you this time around and a blast of water comes at his shot of water and the blast explodes in the middle, creating a huge mist of scattered water. ]

Now I'm an evil doer huh?

[ He chuckled. ]

You're too into your Hero games sometimes Flynn.

[ Oh wait there's like five more shots fired at Flynn. ]

"You sold me a moldy cabbage!"

"Read the sign, lady! NO REFUNDS!"

"Fine, then I demand a replacement!"

The merchant yanked down the 'Closed' sign and shuttered himself away in his stall, leaving Rukia staring at him with wilted produce in her hands. Why that dirty...! "I will never shop here again!" she shouted, flinging the cabbage onto the pavement and stomping down the street. Damn...and she wanted to try her hand at making okonomiyaki too...perhaps another merchant...

Rukia chewed the tip of her thumb, deep in thought, when all of a sudden something wet and cold shot her in the back. The little shinigami shrieked, arching sharply before she whirled around. Who would dare...?!

And there was Yuri, holding a dripping water pistol.

"Why you...!" Rukia's eyes narrowed as she stood, hands balled into fists. Now? Now might be a good time to run, or else something terrible was going to happen judging by the look of unbridled fury on her face.

"Yo-- Shorty, you look a little pissed. Did I get you at the wrong time?"

He mused raising a brow at her. She looked pretty ticked off and it wasn't just from his water gun. He sort of hit her right when she was walking this way and he hadn't actually caught sight of what had happened with the guy that was selling her things. He would have probably solved that issue for Rukia faster if he actually knew what happened.

"Shorty?"

He stared at her waiting for a response. Seriously, Rukia you're starting to worry him.

... Well, someone definitely hadn't expected a sharp stream of cold water against her back, if the sharp yelp that forced its way past her lips was anything to go buy. Fortunately, the bag of groceries she now happened to be clutching tightly her chest seems to be relatively safe and dry, which was something to be thankful for!

Or else the look on her face, cheeks flushed crimson, would have been a lot worse than simple annoyance as she still straightened her back and squared her shoulders, because someone had to be a voice of reason here. "Yuri!"

Countdown to lecture (or something else similar) in three, two...

Well, crap. That wasn't who he was aiming for since he didn't know her that well, but if he recalled the young girl had a thing for somewhat lecturing him about his actions. Oh brother. It's not like he disliked her or anything but Tear was extremely uptight for a girl. She really needed to loosen up and have some fun.

He wasn't going to let her be that stiff. He made sure that her groceries weren't ruined but the gun wasn't hidden and his expression remained highly amused.

"Yo, Tear. I didn't expect you to get caught in the crossfire. I was trying to get a friend."

He replied walking up to her.

[Flynn may not be into fun and games, but since this was a gun game, he was going to play to win. Swiftly going from cover to cover, his eyes darted about for any potential opponents who would be soaked with his deadly water gun artes. Will you fall victim, or lift your shirt up in an effort to distract him?]

( finally having gotten the hang of this water war, meredy had a spot picked out behind one of the nearby trees, staying hidden until she was behind the blond soldier.
