Great Googly Moogly, It's All Gone to #$&%!
Who: Deadpool, Twilight Sparkle [OPEN]
What: So, you've found out that you're a pawn! Time to get drunk!
When: 4/27 - after Report #2 is revealed
Where: Random bar
Warnings: Drunk Wade. Drunk Pone. Drunk drunk drunk.
It was bad enough that it seemed that many of the "Heroes" had disappeared suddenly, but there was something much more concerning. Twilight had been curious about the new Report from Palitutu that had been revealed and the results were. Sobering. Mind-breaking, in fact. So much that it lead her to just wander out of the labs and head out towards any random place, finding herself to be at a bar.
Now, this would end up catching the attention of one Deadpool, who couldn't understand why a pastel-colored pony would be at a bar. And after she told him, he was right there along with her.
It sounds like the set up for a joke, doesn't it?
(OoC: Do mention if you want to talk to either Deadpool or Twilight)

So two pones walk into a bar
But knowing Twilight was probably on the verge of some kind of epic freakout, he was checking the seedier parts of town, asking around and finally getting a lead from the tough he had roughed up months ago.
So it was here that he found Twilight with Deadpool, and after nodding to Deadpool he boosted himself up on a stool and raised a hoof. "Carrot juice."
Turning to Twilight with drink in hand, he said, "You know I've never seen you fall apart like this before."
Re: So two pones walk into a bar
Twilight let out a sigh as she closed her eyes.
"I knew the whole Heroes of Light thing was seedy. To be brought here claimed to be great heroes, but only given the bare minimum of information? But, no one wanted to listen. I mean, sure, it sounds like something Rainbow Dash would do, but even she believes in backing of when something doesn't work right anymore... after the thousandth time."
Re: So two pones walk into a bar
Turning his cup around in telekinesis, Shining stared into its depths. "When it seems the darkest of night is upon us, and the world seems in peril, lift your voice to your beliefs and be true to yourself. Only then you can see the daybreak."
"Sometimes the biggest issue here, is that these reports present truths, but it also causes despair. Despair we need to drag ourselves out of."
no subject
She let out another sigh.
"I'm afraid our biggest problem is getting everyone to see that the world isn't as black and white as they think it is."
no subject
"I think that's how it is like for a lot of people." Said Shining, taking a drink of his juice. "That even the big picture stuff doesn't hammer it in. Everyone is so different, and getting everyone to work on the same page is impossible. So... it's going to be like building from the start."
no subject
"I mean, the easiest thing we could do is stop using the name of the Heroes of Light because, honestly, it sounds tainted, but everyone would try to keep using it because of the other people here. And there's also the case of our natural abilities: I was right about that and we need to work on getting them untethered from our crystals and reactivate them on a permanent basis. Also, we need to find Palitutu and talk to her. Right now, like it or not, she's probably our best hope for figuring out everything...!"
no subject
"Secondly, we can't do everything at once. Think of multitasking this problem by tackling one problem at a time. It's like tending a garden; ideas start small but you foster them over time. And when they reach a certain growth point and you feel stumped, try for another idea."
He sipped his drink. "Thirdly, don't keep working on this idea every single day. Take a day to let your brain shut off. I'm always here with you, when you don't notice it. Always look to the future, but don't get hung up on a particular problem."
how about both? :o
On the other note, he spotted some weird guy in some sort of Super Hero looking suit from America or something. These kinds of things just keep getting weirder and weirder. He sighs as he rolled up his sleeves and continued to mop the floor of the tavern as he watched the two in curiosity. Kuwabara offered to assist the Bartender and whoever else worked at the current bar to gain some sort of good income. He also heard that the Bar was a good place to gather information.
He's not the smartest person in the world but he had gone a long way since his middle school days.

"Oy! Red! Hit me with another! All hail the Heroes of Light, saviors of this world, but killers of another!" he slurred out. God, he missed his healing factor.
no subject
"Comin' right up!" he called back as he called the bartender to hit him with another drink for the patron. He didn't really like the sound of the Heroes of Light saving one world and killing another. That kind of thought made him sick to his stomach. Whether it was true or not he didn't know. He's still settling into this lifestyle as a "Hero of Light," since Kalki had apparently tricked the lot of them more than seven months ago after he witnessed deaths of so many other people he was traveling with.
It was saddening.
Eventually, he puts the drink next to the guy after a minute or two, "Dontcha think ya had enough ta drink?"
no subject
He grumbled as he grabbed is glass and looked away.
"...just got through one Earth-shattering experience and now we got another and it isn't even being written by a big name writer!"
no subject
He replied groaning. Kuwabara was also the type to easily get ticked off at anyone that triggered any of his concerns.
"It ain't like we got much to to say on the matter. We all wanta get the hell back to where we came from? There ain't no use cryin' about it now. I'd like ta punch those bastards, believe me but it ain't that easy. Nothin's that easy."
He grumbled.
"...Seriously? You got some screws loose or somethin?"
OTA
Anyone who approached him were met with a haggard marshal rubbing his forehead.]
So. Um. Never a dull moment here, huh.
no subject
Nope. Not at all. Think it would bother this universe to give us a good sign for once?
no subject
Uh, well, considerin' it ain't ever done that before, I don't see why it'd start now.
[Sparks takes a long sip of his drink, and frowns, thinking.]
Question is, so now what?
no subject
Well, there's the idea of revealing that the Heroes of Light is nothing but a lie to the general public, but I'm pretty sure that would cause a riot.
Right now, I'm thinking of changing the purpose of investigating the Lunar Gate. At first, I just wanted to see what was in here. Now? I wanna see what we can learn, especially about the tree.
I also think we deserve some answers from other people. Which means talking to people we don't want to.
no subject
[Sparks confidently knocks back the rest of his drink and pounds the empty class down on the bar. This only gets him a dirty look from the bartender, though.]
Twilight
"Twilight, this is the last place I never thought I'd see you at, nya. Mind if I take a seat here?"
Re: Twilight
Re: Twilight
"It seems natural to do some drinking and let the despair consume you, but remember it's no means a long term solution. We must remember what's at stake here, nya."
no subject
She let out a sigh and slumped down.
"I figured our powers were sealed away. I didn't realize it was because we couldn't rebel and allow our worlds to die..."
