Cat and Mouse - Aerilon
Who: Ales [Open]
When: November 17
Where: Ales' Airship and Aerilon
Summary: Flying to Aerilon to search for the Black Moogle and looking around the city.
Warnings: None.
Good thing Ales was given permission to take one of the Airline's ships to search for the Black Mage Moogle, or else he'd waste so much time getting from one place to another. And taking other Heroes for the search would makes things go more quickly.
Ales spends several hours on the airship, keeping himself in the navigation room and only allowing Mimi inside to relay any messages one of the passengers wants to give him.
After that, he wandered the streets, greeting each member of the crowd that was closer to his size. The shops were filled with wonderful items, but nothing caught enough of his interest to pay for one of those expensive trinkets.
Fortunately, he found himself in front of O'aka XXIV's shop, eyeing one of the computers. He didn't have enough to buy one of those, but for now, looking at them made him feel a bit better.

He patiently listened to the rest of the story, focusing on the land in front and taking a few breaks to check on several barometers and such.
"What do you mean by that? The 'original gene pool' thing?"
no subject
He pretty much stops the story there for a moment. A long moment.

Then he turned. "What?"
He made a quick check on the wheel, then completely spun around in his chair. "So it decided to kill everything it created? Why that solution?" Though he was sure that monster was much more aggressive than the creator of his world, Ales still based the monster's actions on Polokus's, who was way too gentle and laid-back to do any destruction on his own, especially if it would involve one of the creatures he personally created.

"So never ask me "Are you there?""
"In any case though, it pretty much told us that we need to not fuck up, though we already knew that. But since it was set on destroying us all to begin with, we destroyed the creature first. We parted ways and then instead of going home with my girlfriend, I was here."
It really makes a better RP setting than short-story...

"How were you even able to defeat such a thing like that? Wouldn't it have stopped all of you first?"
no subject
He pauses a bit. "Sorry for all the profanity. It's... kind of necessary, but you just had to focus on shooting them down and then you'd be in the clear."
no subject
But he didn't dare say that. "No problem. It seems that you and many others were able to get around that successfully."
no subject
"Met my girlfriend there too."
