Those who were awake early in the morning would be greeted to a sight.

First off is the large glowing swirl of smoke in the sky in the housing district. This would be followed by the rush of heat and wind as a massive set of boulders fell from the sky. There's a moment of silence before the impact.

And then, it happened.

Smoke billowed from the impact as some reckless fool had cast not one but two meteor spells outside the gate.

And in the middle of it there's a tiny girl in her jammies laughing her head off like a tiny tarutaru would.

"OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO! Do it again, do it again! Man, I love this!"

"Oh yeah, she's snapped," deadpanned Coffret as he turned towards Kuplo Kopp and the Chocobo Coupe-sama. "Can you two do that again?"

"Clearly yes," said Kuplo Kopp.

"Kweh," agreed Coupe-sama.

"This is fine," said Coffret. "Just, cast it again. I don't think that training dummy died properly."

Irresponsible actions aside, anyone awake would be buffered by the explosions rolling through the district.

"You should start drinking more milk. That's what I do - it'll make you taller!" Ruby said, letting Erika lean against her. Yes, this is fine. Very fine.

"More milk, huh? All right, I'll do that!" Erika grinned as she made a camera with her fingers. "Click, goes the memories."

Ruby couldn't help but laugh at that, pulling Erika closer for a hug. "We're certainly making some, aren't we?"

"Yeah we are. I guess everything is one big whirlwind of memory now," said Erika with a grin.

"...you won't forget me, will ya?" Ruby asked, a little bashfully.

"Like I could? You're one of the best things that ever happened to me! I wouldn't. No, never."

Erika grinned. "Besides, my world has dimensional travel. I could come visit."

"You can travel across worlds, too? Oh, that sounds awesome! You should do that! I could introduce you to everyone!" Ruby replied, beaming brightly.

"Yeah! Don't tell Tsubomi but I've experienced 2 1/2 more years on her." Said Erika conspiratorically.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Ruby asked, blinking in surprise.

[stupid_erika_shenanigans]

"Our adventures didn't end with Dune," said Erika. "Sure the main adventure ended, but we kept getting pulled into adventures with other precure. There's always a new threat ever year too. I don't think Tsubomi's experienced this though."

"Ohhhhh... so you're older than her, too!" Ruby said, pointing that out. Maybe?

"Yeah, kinda. I'm two and a half years older," said Erika. "I haven't told her yet. It'd break the illusion since I'm still just as short."

"Don't worry, it'll be my secret!" Ruby said, proudly.

"Great! Wanna get breakfast?" asked Erika.

"Sure, I'm starving!" Ruby replied. She quickly took Erika's hand as she started to stand up, helping the other girl up as well.

"Great! I'll cook. I'm pretty good at it." said Erika.

"Ooh, what can you make?" Ruby asked

"I'm thinking we'll have eggs and toast, don't think we can make pancakes yet," said Erika thoughtfully.

"Aww, I was in the mood for pancakes!" Ruby said, pouting. After a bit, she spoke up again. "Did you want to do something today, the two of us?"

"Well, we'll need to get stuff FOR pancakes," said Erika with a grin. "And then we can spend the day together. Maybe go have some fun somewhere."

"Ooh, great!" Anything else she could have said was interrupted with her stomach growling. "Um, food first!"

"Food first then," said Erika with a nod.

Better hurry, then, because Ruby's gonna push you into the house to get things started!
