Summary: The long-awaited meeting with Palitutu! This post will be updated as things evolve and will lead into the main event for the second Anniversary, Revelations. According to the predictions of a certain Heroes of Light, Ultima WEAPON shall be fought during the meeting, better be prepared. Trying to avoid the meeting is a bad idea, as Palitutu mentioned she will use that very WEAPON to destroy Aqures Ixen if the Heroes feel cowardly.

Rialynn pulled her head back, side-eyeing him with no small degree of puzzlement. He was taking this very seriously, far more than she expected. She didn't think all that much of swapping favors, as there was no harm in it. He wasn't a vampire, as he'd confirmed, and she didn't think he was one of the fae who were (rumored to be) inclined to completely twist favors to be binding contracts that inevitably screwed mortals over.

"Um. What, uh...what consequences are we talking about here?" Or was this a completely separate matter he was thinking about?

Vincent blinked at her.

In the end, it likely didn't matter. He took some obligations quite seriously, and that was perhaps something she didn't. Or didn't feel it was as big a deal. Ducking his head into his cowl slightly, he sighed slightly. "I have been told that I tend to take things too seriously."

In any case, don't worry about it Rialynn.

She watched him duck his head slightly. Now she felt bad, she hadn't meant to embarrass him. Awkwardly she reached up to give his shoulder a light pat. "Don't worry about it. That's not a bad quality to have."

Part of her felt as if she should explain her request, but it did delve into some really personal issues. If he'd been there the day she'd been made to kill Zelda, he might have understood why she was so desperate to keep Ramza safe. She owed him, more than she could ever hope to repay.

Less that he was embarrassed, and more that he wanted her to be careful. Others would take things seriously, and Vincent himself did take obligations seriously himself. There was no explanation needed, and if anything he worried that she might be embarrassed now. Especially with the awkward pat at his shoulder and her words.
