He is waved over towards the prison by a series of alert Moogles, and he manages to jump in through a window. He had been to the prison only once, but it isn't difficult to find the crowd of Heroes.
Duster stays quiet during most of the conversation, unsure whether he could provide decent enough input. He wasn't around last year, not did he understand this world's magic, but--]
So if we can play the right song, we can send those Moogles away? Is there music for that?
[He pulls out a concertina, a gift from Johnny. He had hardly any use for it during the battles of today, but if this is what is needed, he will be more than happy that he kept his Bard Job equipped.]

You're telling us what you did but not how. How did you find your King. And these songs? We need to know the songs you used, and any others she might have mentioned. [His eyes narrow as he looks at the moogle.] You're in this deep, you might as well come over to our side and give us all we need to get this done. The more we know, the more we can do to help.

[she taps her hand against her chin, thinking.]
If it's a matter of songs… wouldn't the simplest thing to do be to find one that would disperse the melodies holding the King together?

[Sephiroth answers K'pandolu specifically but doesn't look at her, his iridescent eyes haven't shifted from Mograma since he started explaining to Ira and Sheena. So, Kalki is alive, somewhere, yet priorities straight they have a King Moggle Mog to disperse with first.
No matter how he wants to demand if Mograma know Kalki's whereabouts. She's been hiding from all of them for much too long.]
So the idea was to manipulate these melodies that are already in the Lifestream- [Heck, it's easier to use terminology he's familiar with.] -in order to bring them back together into a solid form, and resurrect your King.
What have the Heroes of Light to do with- wait- that's to do with his vengeance, isn't it? To have something to anchor himself back into the world of the living?
[...it can't be all that similar, surely...]

What do you mean, "she's not human"? What is she then? Some kind of Planetary Spirit? Or is she connected to this world in a way others aren't? Is that how she knows about the melodies?
[ She's thinking, of course, about the "song" they heard at the "harp". How often had Kalki been there?
Or is she the physical manifestation of the voice in the Rift?
It could be that being an avatar makes her not human, but why think of the simplest thing first?
She looks at Sephiroth. ]
That almost sounds like the Summon Spirits--they are physical beings that represent the different elements of my world, sustained by the very mana they can control. [ She pauses. That would mean Moggle Mog would be the primal force of evil if summoned. ]

[ He then turned at Cloud, angrily. ]
I don't know, Kupo! I was to use the black crystal she gave me and do certain manipulations. She explained me exactly what I had to do, I did exactly as she said and it worked to an extent, Kupo. But you stopped it all before I could finish.
[ He then nodded to Duster and K'pandolu. ]
But I suppose... If I was to do exactly the contrary of what I was said to do, Kupo... Maybe instead of putting back the King together, I could disperse the remnants of his consciousness, Kupo. If we did that, he would be gone forever. But that's just a theory, Kupo.

Are you serious? After everything you've said and done now you're just a pawn following the orders you were given?
[He keeps on glaring, trying to tell if the moogle is still playing coy after all this time. Or if he really just is this pathetic. To keep on bluffing at this late stage of the game.
He closes his eyes, taking a long breath to calm himself. He looks around at the others and then back to Mograma.]
We're going to go deal with this, and once this is all done you better start telling us everything you know if you want us to protect you from her. This isn't a threat. If you know something that will save lives then you owe us several times over at this point.

Mograma...Kalki isn't here to tell you what to do anymore. If you want to help us protect the world from the King, do just that. And if you don't, well...
[Another glance at the Heroes who had been in this world longer than Duster.]
Even if it's just a theory, even if it has a one-in-a-millions chance of working, we still have a chance. I'm not going to back down.

[In all honesty- combined with the talk about crystals and instructions on summoning- it sounds more like the talk of Ascians to her. Her tail lashes once, but that piece of speculation doesn't seem likely to do them any good right now. More importantly, they've got to try to convince Mograma to help them. She nods, putting all the encouraging feelings into it she can.]
We'll only see if it works by trying it. Perhaps it'll help you to see that it's possible, too.

He comes back in front of everyone and holds the key up parallel to the bars so that the miscreant can clearly see it.]
I certainly hope it's more than a theory, for your sake, Mograma. Because we're taking you to come and settle this with us.
[Briefly he looks around the others, holding a careful but charged glance at Cloud in the meantime before looking back inside the prison cell.]
We saved you from death, but I for one won't hesitate to backtrack on that should you even think to put a toe out of line. And then maybe she would be able to turn you into a monster, afterwards. Just like she promised, right?
[Sephiroth knows, more personally than perhaps anyone else here might remember, exactly what it is that Mograma fears. Mograma, after all, helped Kalki to put Sephiroth through that.]
Are we clear?
