[On the Enterprise, Saori is dressed in her Assassin's gear with Brigid sulking on her shoulder. The moogle now has a purple omamori charm around her neck. On it, a fox holding stalks of rice in its mouth forms a circle with its tail and the rice is embroidered in white. This won't be good bye but she wanted to leave a memento to her friend. The duo stand on the deck, looking over the horizon.

She has the prized hidden blades of one of the most influential Assassin's of Mary's world, but she also carries on her back a two-handed sword as well as Laguna's machine gun. The sword had a bluish purple hue to it. This was going to be an all out battle, there was no point in holding back.]

[Wandering around the ship, and free for the moment of the usual burden of airsickness, Saori gets treated to a gawping expression from Cloud.]

Wow...you're really going all out.

[He's done some preparation as well of course. His custom grunt uniform from Levy has been padded and reinforced a bit, and he seems to be wearing some sort of heavy bracer on his left arm. And then there's the jigsaw sword from his future self on his back. He keeps reaching back to finger the hilt nervously.]

I might be overdoing it, to be honest. Never really used guns back home, actually. Yet, I couldn't really leave this one behind since it belonged to someone who's now in Crystal Stasis.

Still, something tells me we might be in it for the long haul now.

I guess if we're headed deep into the enemy's stronghold and fight one of our strongest foes then a little over preparation is probably for the best.

[Cloud nods. He can understand wanting to use something left behind. Or in some cases not wanting to use it. Looking the gun over it seems like it's pretty good quality, and something like what he would have used as a grunt. Maybe a bit better.]
