To the world map!
Characters: Elizabeth and what ever poor fools come with her [open]
When/Where: Between Aqures Ixen and the Chocobo Farm
Summary: Elizabeth has her persona compendium and wants to start cataloging the local shadows (monsters), that and she's running out of money and really only knows how to get it from beating it out of shadows.
Warnings: Liz is an idiot.
Elizabeth was bored. It isn't that she didn't appreciate the foreign world in peril, the need to rescue a queen, or the chance to pound on monsters, not at all. It was more the fact that it didn't exactly seem like anyone was doing that. They were more wrapped up in the winter festivals and she wanted enough funds to buy a wish from a fountain. Her new Moogle "friend" suggested getting a job, and thumping shadows was quite practical back home so off she went.
Leaving a note on the door of her house that read simply, "Subjugating shadows, will be back when I have slaughtered enough to appease the fountain spirits. If anyone wishes to join me Theodore will be able to find me." she headed off an hour before sunset.
Now as the sun was setting she head out of the town, looking to find some way of amusing herself.

She cracked open the door and briefly peeked at the red head before fully opening it and fluttering out of the way.
"He's inside," she said. "It's Blondie that you're looking for, right?"
Not even waiting for a reply, she fluttered inside and led him into the living room to meet Guy.
The Blond himself knelt on the floor near Theodore, so that the two of them were closer to eye level.
"...Is it that bad, Theodore?" He asked in a tone that was gentle but concerned. If Elizabeth was going to get herself in trouble, he needed to know as soon as possible.

He shuffles some papers, picks up and eyes an empty Remedy bottle and sighs before looking back.
"Now imagine you had the opposite. I'm guessing the crystal REALLY needs to start vetting the heroes of light to make sure you are at least well, mortal people kupo. Not apparently someone who's job it is to make sure Death does its job because the half of these notes that aren't high end magic theory, or really creepy songs, are places and I quote 'That I have been searching for that pervert slacker Thanatos, how he acted as Death is beyond me.' and now she got bored of that and is crystals know where. Look, I was getting used to finding her passed out on a roof in the morning and dragging her back here, even bringing food but there are hamsters out there. What do I look like?"

Guy sighed. He felt for the poor little moogle more than the moogle would likely understand-- dealing with a petulant, bratty Luke had left him with similar headaches over the years-- not that he ever openly complained to anyone else on the staff about it. Frowning, he reached out to help clean up the mess of scattered remedy bottles, and counted his blessings that Elizabeth hadn't met Jade yet. Bizarre songs and rantings about perverts aside, he was almost afraid of what the two could come up with once arcane theories became involved.
"Just help me find Elizabeth, and I can try to help you keep her out of trouble, okay? She sounds like she needs someone watching her at all times."
sorry for the wait!;;;
He gave a light laugh, and then folded his arms behind his head, careful not to knock Ion off his shoulder. Not that the moogle wouldn't be able to fly to catch himself, but still. Speaking of, the little moogle seemed content, as always, to be on that spot as Luke walked into the room.
He paused not far behind Guy, leaning to listen to the conversation intently. So, apparently...this moogle was working with a person who didn't understand the concept of sleep. A faintly wry smile appeared, but then he heard the rest of it. Pervert? Thanatos? Death?
...Okay, yeah, he was just going to focus on the bit that he did understand, "Uh...Need some...help?"
No worries, the week has been nuts for me too!
It's just January, methinks~
He looked up when he heard the familiar voice, momentarily surprised that his long time friend was in the house. Daisy must have let him in, Guy mused, before nodding.
"We'll take it," He said, overriding the moogle's words, before returning his attention to Theodore.
"She may be the hero that you're assigned to, but she's also one of the people living in this house. We all should have been a little more careful-- you're not the only one to blame, here."
While he didn't know the strange woman very well, he did hold some responsibility on himself. Though they had only just recently met, Tear had put Guy in charge for the others' safety. That went beyond just Luke, in his opinion. As their house mates, Elizabeth and Fai were included as well.
yeeeeah... winter time is slow time :T
Then, he was back to listening quietly. So...some woman was missing and needed to be found, apparently. Folding his arms over his chest, he straightened up. He had no idea what the person looked like, so he'd need a description, obviously...
First, he should probably...let a certain someone know what was going on. So, turning his head, a bit, he spoke quietly to Ion.
"Send a letter to Gaara, letting him know I'm gonna be helping Guy find someone. But...also to not hesitate to let me know if he needs me for anything," he said, a faint smile appearing.
Without so much as a pause, Ion did just that. He was gone within a matter of seconds. Luke looked back to Guy, and then he was offering a smile to the unfamiliar moogle, "Don't worry...we're good at this kind of thing. You two just tell me what she looks like, and I'll do what I can to help find her."
That and all the hospital visits and nonsense. It has been a bad month.
"Well she has the vampire class, so she's really pale and has these creepy yellow eyes. That and wearing a lot of blue. If you see someone singing in an odd language that makes your brain afraid of nothing and everything all at once then you got her."
Yeah, totes
He scratched his chin, musing. "With how she acts, I would guess that she doesn't have much experience outside of her job, which sounds almost like she's a servant of some sort."
That'll definitely do it
"Got it... And, yeah that- is kind of the idea I'm getting, here. I'm not sure why someone would randomly ask for a contract, either."
With that, he was releasing a long sigh. Where to even start looking for someone he didn't know anything -- beyond appearance -- about, "Guess we can...split up, to try covering more ground. I have the Chocobo Knight Job Class...which might help," he started, before making a thoughtful sound, "Think...she would have hitched a ride on a chocobo, herself?"
If that was the case, there would be no telling where she was...

Theodore takes another swig from the flask, "An evil spirited kid mind you, the kind who is always right, but still. Just a kid."
