Summary: The Heroes of Light who were captured during the past event are now prisoner in this research facility. This post is for them to thread the scenes they want, according to the schedule.
Warning: Horror, science experiments, torture.

Re: Day 1 - Open To All [Meet and greet]

The young pirate had been sitting up straight, looking at the wall marred with stains of red paint when the ninja of his crew awoke. He doesn't utter a word, aware and knowing that she's finally coming to, then hearing her speak as she approached the bars of the cell.

Knuckles, fresh and open from the repeated punches he'd struck to the wall, cause him only a slight discomfort. They cause him to wince before speaking, the slightest clench of his fists a reminder of the predicament they were now both in.

"No use talkin' to 'em. They'll just tell you to shut up."

There was a twitch -- or maybe it was more of a wince. The first thing that Yuna could note was the dull ache in the side of her head, and when she pushed up off of the ground, the rest of her injuries made themselves known too. When he eyes finally opened, she didn't recognize the area, and as it came more into focus, a wave of dread started to wash over her.

Bars, cement... this was! Oh no! A slightly panic started to sink in as she searched the room, finally seeing the brightly coloured shape of her cousin. "Rikku!" her voice was strained the first time, barely above a whisper. She made it to her knees first, reaching out for the other girl and shaking her, her voice becoming clearer, carrying over the silence. "Rikku! Can you hear me!"

There was no response as Yuna shook her cousin, the Guardian lay still and pale where the guards had dumped her body. It was nothing like the girl, Rikku could fall asleep on a dime but she would awaken at the lightest whisper.

As Yuna's pleas grew, they reached deeper than silence. Rikku's eyelids fluttered lightly, and beneath the white mage's hand the girl's body tensed as pain came in a tidal wave with awareness.

"Y...Yunie." She licked dry lips, taking a few steadying breaths. When she timidly opened her spiraled eyes for a blurry look at their reality, her heart sank.

I failed

Rikku's glance drifted to her Summoner, barley able to face her.

"You...You were supposed to run away."

Yuffie glanced over at Luffy her mind quickly catching up with everything that was going on. Her hands immediately grab hold of Luffy's wrist looking at his bloodied knuckles and then at the red stained wall.

"WHATS WRONG WITH YOU? HOW IS THAT HELPING ANYTHING! NO ONE CAN HEAL YOU." Yuffie didn't care that she was shouting and she was only faintly aware of the other pair talking in the cell next to them. She already knew she didn't have her crystal on her and she didn't know if their abilities where stolen once again.

She moved back towards the bars keeping her fingers wrapped tightly around Luffy's wrist as she shouted.

"HEY WE NEED SOMEONE TO HEAL THIS!" Of course she was ignored, the guard only looking at her for a moment to tell her to shut up. She thought she heard him mumble something under his breath but she didn't care. She looked back at her captain feeling her heart sink at the sight.

"I-I can wrap it.." Her hand reached down to tear a piece of her tank top and use it as a bandage.

As if his hand had been put to a hot stove, Luffy pulls his hand away from the ninja with a loud snap coming from his mouth. It resembles more of a growl than anything, the sort of reaction a feral animal might have when approached by a larger creature.

"Don't! There's nothing wrong with them, got it?!"

When his hand is freed, he turns back to the fist-painted wall, putting the flat of his hand against it as the gritty sound of brick and mortar on skin echoes in front of him.

"You listen to me, Yuffie.." He cocks a single arm back, pulling with it the weight of his resolve as he stares down the wall keeping his dreams from becoming a reality. "I'll get us out of here, even if it kills me to do it!" His already wounded knuckles grind into the structure of the cell, splattering the fresh wound open while the face of the pirate remains still. "There's no wall that can keep me from finding the Queen so we can go home!" Another punch rings aloud, sending his other hand at the wall to make a new splash of red appear. "You hear me you stupid guards!!" CRACK! A follow up to the second punch connects with the wall.

"Ignores us if you want, but you'll be sorry that you took two of the toughest pirates in the world hostage! Us? We're never gonna' let you keep us in here!" Despite his injuries, every punch coming from the hips of the lanky pirate is met with a slight quake. There's no progress being made, save for the conjuring of more plasma on the slab.

There was a look in Yuna's two-toned eyes, one that spoke the truth -- she would never be able to leave someone behind. Maybe that was one of the many reasons Auron had said she was so hard to guard... but there was no changing that fact. But before she could protest any of it in order to set the record straight, she heard voices. One of them familiar. "Wait, is someone else there...?" she rose, trying to place where it was coming from, and walked over to the wall that separated the cells.

Placing her hands on the wall, she listened more carefully, not that she needed to strain to hear Luffy's shouting clearly, or the sound of something being beaten... "Hello? Can you hear me?" she asked through the wall, looking off into the corner to try and concentrate, hearing a name. "Who's there? Yuffie?"

As Yuna made her way to the adjoining wall Rikku rose with stiff, tender motions. The Pilgrimage had made her spoiled - it was hard work, true - but few had the benefits of so gifted a White Mage. Whoever had patched them up had done a piss poor job, but she wasn't about to complain - they were breathing afterall. Still, the thief could have done a far better with her Alchemy, even with its pension for entropy.

Padding over to join her cousin, she called out - markedly louder than the summoner. "Hello???"

Yuffie put her palms in front of Luffy's eyes. "Hear that. It's not just us and... your not doing anything to the wall. Your just hurting yourself. We aren't giving up but we should find another way." With that she moved her hand and let him do whatever he wanted. She knew Luffy would do what he wanted anyway, there was no point getting in the way.

She leaned against the wall that emanated that familiar voice. "Yeah? Someone say my name? Who's there?" She tapped the wall lightly but it was sold, there wasn't a weakness in the wall anywhere. One thing Yuffie was good at was getting in and out of places like this.

Luffy blinks, looking to the wall in which Yuffie approaches. His eyes go wide, neck reeling his head back as he's faced with a rather odd fact.

"Did.. Did the walls just start talking to us?!"

Not that he's afraid or anything. It's rather amusing to find that a structure might be able to converse as if it were human. He's seen stranger things in this world, and these would certainly be high up on the list.

"Yuffie! Don't talk to walls you don't know! They might.. They might be uhh-.. Huh. I can't really think of what would make a wall bad. What's it like being a wall? Do you have to watch people go to the bathroom? You don't watch me go to the bathroom, do you?!"
