[Ib is sitting on the steps in front of the history museum, a letter in her hand and a covered painting next to her. She's eying it somewhat warily. Rose is nowhere to be seen. Ib had wanted to do this quest all on her own, but now she's wishing that her moogle had come along.

It should be easy. Just deliver this painting to Jessie. It is easy. It's such a silly thing to be nervous about. The gallery... that was a long time ago. And it wasn't even in this world. Except... this world has a lot more magic and monsters than hers ever did.

She wonders if she should peek. Maybe if she saw the painting she'd feel better. Or maybe worse. Maybe she should ask someone for help? No, they'd only laugh. They'd think she was just a scared little kid. And she's worked hard to seem more grown up. So here she is, uncertainly glancing at the painting next to her.]

[She is happy enough to ask at least, but she wondered how doing things could get one a new job.]

Illusionist. I've gone as far as I can with Red Mage, so I'm trying something else.

Oh! I have that job, though I don't know what it's like to use it.

[She did however have an illusion use magic on her. Ah, that time at the research centre was not fun.]

Sounds like a good job though.

If you have it, why don't you know what it does? Didn't you try it out?

I have never switched my jobs... I would have felt bad doing it. But I guess not using that one is bad as well. Just sitting there waiting.

[She looks down at the ground. Well, she knew she probably should switch soon.]

Oh. I guess that makes sense. I stayed with my first job until I was finished.

[Her secondary job she's changed a number of times.]

[She nodded slightly, she never changed her job, so she didn't know what it was like, or how for that matter. She pauses for a moment to think about it. She didn't actually know how, maybe she could ask later.]

What was your first job? I-If it's okay to ask?

It was Red Mage. That's what I've been since I got here. I've tried out a few other things though, since you can have two jobs. Like Chocobo Knight. And Summoner.

O-Oh... [She pauses, thinking of something and realizing, she didn't actually know what a Red Mage was exactly.]

What's a Red Mage anyway? It sounds like White Mage, so I know it's to do with magic, but why the Red part?

[That's okay, it's making Ib feel especially well-informed. She isn't, usually.]

It just means they can use both white and black mage spells. Not the really powerful ones, but sort of a combination of all the ones in the middle.

[Maybe combining the two colours mead it red? She wasn't sure if that was the case really, but at least the other was explaining it.]

Oh! So that means you know how to heal and help people, but at the same time do the opposite too?

Right! A Red Mage could heal their friends or throw fire and stuff at monsters. It's really useful.

Oh wow! That is amazing.

[Though sadly, Kobato probably wouldn't ever choose it herself, she still couldn't help but be impressed. After a minute she realizes that she has been holding the other back from doing her mission.]

Sorry! I have stopped you from delivering the painting. I should let you do it.

[Ib shakes her head, still smiling.]

No, it's okay! I really needed the distraction. But yeah, I'd better get back to work. Thanks.

[She nods slightly before turning on her heels.]

I hope you get your new job and I hope to see you around.

[With a small nods as she soon heads off.]
