Dark Yugi | Open
He soon opened his eyes once more, moving to stand up, he best go make his round before they head off and maybe sort out his sword and armour while he had the chance to. After all is he was to use his Dark Knight job, he might as well get suitable equipment.]
no subject
But that didn't mean there was no reason to lose hope! With all the Heroes here, they could surely find a way to stop this! He put on a smile for everyone around him, but spotted Yugi standing in the back, looking upset. Then again, he always looked like that.]
Hey! [He called as he walked up to Yugi.] So, are you ready for this?
no subject
Of course. I'm just making final preparations and that should be me sorted. Are you ready yourself?
no subject

[Because while he was more than happy to help in the whole saving the world, he never showed it in such a way. After all this was a serious thing, happiness wasn't exactly something one should show right about now.]
We are all doing our bit and hopefully it won't be long now before we put plans into action and stop all this.
no subject
[Like that would be enough.]
[Rayman shakes his head at that intrusive sarcastic thought. He's been getting too worried about the situation, he's already starting to doubt himself.]
I'm sure we'll find a way, as long as we work together. We're heroes, after all!
[Why...]
no subject
If we couldn't work together, this world would be doomed. I think that's what will help us with all of this.
[He looking out at the people who wee walking by, a small smile passing his list.]
no subject
Yeah! We've gone through worse things than this, right? I'm sure we'll be fine.
no subject
[He gestures toward the map, showing just how much of this world was covered in crystal now.]
Nothing could be worse than this.

Masamune had been cleaned, polished and a few nicks in it's length worked out, Sephiroth raised the overlong blade into the air to better catch the light before swinging it in a fierce arch down and across to his side. The thin, but strong blade sung with the motion. In the nick of time, Yugi is spotted out of the corner of an eye and the extension he had intended to add to the maneuver is pulled back.]
Ah. Yugi. Almost didn't see you there.
[Would have served him right, not staying out of my way.
{...you really do hate them all, don't you?}]
no subject
Sorry if I was so quiet them. I should have spoken up sooner. [He still couldn't help but think that sword was the longest sword he had ever seen, even after being here for so long.]
I guess taking in some last practice. I should really do that myself.
no subject
He nods and offers a light, but kind smile at Yugi as he flicks the blade finally around to rest it's dull edge along the back of his arm. The fierce point curling almost like a slight talon well passed the top of Sephiroth's silver head.]
Something like that. Would you care to?
[He's always been ever so good at sparring constructively with other Heroes. Sephiroth knows exactly the pressure required to cut skin and only ever inflicts mere scratches at best.]
no subject
I wouldn't mind, I should however get my armour on at least since I'll be moving about in that.
no subject
Like keeping his indefinable level of skill as sharp as he could while at the same time not giving so much away. Learning as much as he could about as many others as possible without raising any suspicion. This is the game that Sephiroth has been playing for years so far.]
Go right ahead. [He offers an encouraging smile and lilts his head in the direction of the armory. Unless Yugi meant to leave back to his own residence first; there might not be the time, if that were the case.]
no subject
Sorry if this is taking a while, I like to be certain there is nothing wrong just in case.
[Once he felt confident he attached his sword with a small smile. It was all good right now.] That should do it.
no subject
Sephiroth also swept his gaze once-over Yugi's equipment as he came closer. A final, precise eye becoming satisfied with it all as he finally attached his sword to the (he often thought) cumbersome armor that came with the Dark Knight job. There were reasons why Sephiroth had become something of an expert in custom jobs-
{Custom....Jobs?...}
With a grunt, Sephiroth nodded and made to step around Yugi.]
We should head for one of the training rooms, really. It wouldn't do to have anyone else injured before the battle ahead.
[He doesn't wait either, as usual, already coolly striding back towards the corridor.]
no subject
How about the training room I believe is coming up, or is that one not big enough? [He knew they weren't all the same after all as his eyes looked around, watching the people doing what they needed to.]
no subject
It probably hadn't been the first time that he'd trained with Yugi, either.]
Hm. [He slowed his pace as the one of the more standard-sized training rooms was indeed coming up along the corridor. It was a good point, and question that Yugi raised - he hadn't given much thought to how much room they might need.]
That depends- [Sephiroth's tone carried a small hint of a challenge behind it. As always he would probably pick the larger of the rooms given his own techniques and not to mention the newer powers that he had. Still-] -do you feel like focusing on close quarters, or should we...stretch out a little more?
no subject
I think for now bigger is better, if I want to do smaller, I'll do that myself later. [That sounded like an idea to him at least as he looked around. These were the standard sized one and he knew somewhere there was one that was much bigger close by.
Once his eyes wee focused on the direction he was planning to go, he turned to walk toward it, knowing where exactly the room was. With each step he walked he thought over his jobs and what he was able to do. He knew he needed more praise with his Gambler job more than anything as that was a tough one to perfect since he knew it was based on luck.
While that was in mind he stopped in front of one of the bigger rooms as he stepped to the side.]
After you.
no subject
It was Sephiroth's pleasure to step forwards and through the door first. It opened into a large arena-like room that seemed like it would be purposed more towards being a stadium than just a training hall. Then again, in times passed Sephiroth had seen many a duel between Heroes fought out here - for settling disputes or for sport, depending.]
Good choice. [He strode into the hall and strode along one of the walls a way before pausing, taking a long look over the space available before stepping away and swinging Masamune out in much the same way that Yugi had seen in the armory.]
So, what Jobs are we looking to practice today?
[He didn't mean 'we' of course, but he had a fairly good guess about what Yugi had been mulling over in the corridor. He didn't appear to mean it in any threatening way; it would ultimately help Yugi if Sephiroth knew what areas he would like to focus on in combat. Not only that, it would give Sephiroth more of an idea what to expect as well. It wasn't anything to be scoffed at, dueling with Sephiroth like what had been offered. Over the years he'd developed a reputation in that regard.]
no subject
Right now, I need to practice my Gambler Job more. It's much harder to deal with and speed is key for me at least. So I practice for that.
no subject
Gambler was much too risky for him to have even considered as a profession, yet he could appreciate the speed-aspect to it.]
Speed is a valuable asset when it comes to mastering any Job. [An acknowledgment, counting on Yugi to explain further.]
no subject
Speed is a good thing. I just need to be certain I can use it if things weren't going to go well. But now I think I am ready.
no subject
It lacks the control that Sephiroth craves. It also removes the reason for motivation to better yourself - if it's all just a deck of cards, whats the point.]
Well then, lets see shall we?
[He's just about ready for anything Yugi might throw at him, after all, he's no idea what cards are even in that deck.]
no subject
Earth Shake.
[As the words pass his lips, he managed to cast earth magic and cast it towards the other. He believed that the other might dodge it with ease really.]
