Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

Her gaze softens at Rikku and for a moment it's very easy to forget the pain that twisted in her chest. "Thank you Rikku. I want that too. I've already made many happy memories here." She paused, her hand resting over her heart. "It's... frustrating sometimes. I don't understand how I feel around certain people. I'm always unsure if the warmth I feel in my chest is happiness or something else. I don't know for sure and then... I wonder if I can feel love." She paused remembering something that she was once told.
"Is it possible to have that feeling and not even recognize it? How would you know?" She felt herself blush awkwardly having had Rikku compliment her other form and then have her go on about her worries. Terra wasn't an open person and she's only spoken to a few about her fears. Except it was frustrating. She felt so frustrated that she just wanted to cry or scream and she didn't know what to do with that feeling. There was so much that she didn't know or didn't understand.

When she speaks, her voice is soft with sincerity, "Terra, of course you can. Look around you." She indicates the little strays that pounce in play around them and cuddle in the florist's lap. "Only someone with a lot of love in them, would care about the fates of these little guys. It's what I found endearing about you, why I wanted you as a friend without hardly knowing you. Most people wouldn't care enough to do anything but look the other way. I knew you were a good person because of it, with a lot of love to give."
Her heart sinks, Rikku can't even imagine what kind of horrors Terra must not have uncovered yet if her friend can't recognize happiness. "I think, if it feels nice - it must be happiness. At least, something good. Be patient with yourself. You'll figure it all out, the more time you have out of the dark."
At her age, she's hardly an expert on being in love. Rikku has the upperhand of being the observant type though, "Oh yeah, people fall in love without realizing it all the time. It's really obvious when two people are in love but not admitting it to themselves too, to people watching from the outside." Two guardians in particular come to mind. "I think, it's very human to be confused by your feelings, even. I haven't been in love yet though." Clover eyes dart down and away, with the way she thought her fate played out - she did not believe she ever would. "So I'm not sure how to tell."

Terra didn’t know if anyone expect for Tempest and Spencer had watched from the outside. She couldn’t really ask either of them since both moogles like to romanticize things a little too much.
She smiled shyly feeling more at ease than she had with anyone. She shook her head slowly with her hand resting on her heart. “Rikku? I feel…” She wanted someone to help her but she supposed it might just take time too. There were so many people who had reassured her that she could love. “What if I feel different around one person? It’s warm but in a different way. I’m sad when they are sad and I want to make them happy. I’d do anything… to make him happy.”

Leaning in, Rikku looks for all the world like the curious teenager she is. Ready to gossip with her friend about boys. An eager spark in her eyes, it's nice to hear about something happy in this world that has so far been rather unkind, "So who is he?" She flashes a bright grin, practically hopping in place even though she's sitting, "Dont leave me hanging!"
May 31
“Oh? Um... He’s…” Terra wasn’t sure that she should say. She was used to keeping most of her feelings contained except seeing Rikku so happy made her want to talk about herself more. It was an odd feeling for her but it made her smile and then blush a light rosy pink. “It’s Sephiroth… but I don’t know.” There were others that made her nervous but it wasn’t in the same way. It was hard for her to explain.
He was one of the first who learned about her past and he currently held the crown that she had woken up with knowing its dark purpose. He had always been helpful even when she couldn’t help him. She really didn’t know what to think.

She wipes at her eyes, her teasing settling down, replaced by a soft smile. "You shouldn't worry yourself so much. These things have a way of working themselves out, you'll figure it all out." A fingertip scratches at her cheek thoughtfully, "I mean I suppose it could be a crush if you're not sure. It sounds like love - I've had crushes before but I would never do anything to make my crushes happy, but everyone's different. Sometimes that leads to love, sometimes it doesn't. Infatuation, it's like in between love and not love? A stepping stone I guess. There's lotsa stuff bards say about love. I wonder if they get it right with words?"
May 31
"I think to love something truly it needs to love you back too." Of course Terra wasn't an expert in this sort of thing. She looked down at the kitten that was now latched to her fingers. She laughed softly. "I think... I know I can love." She picked up the little kitten and nuzzled against it's face with her nose. "I love all these little guys." Her little guys were starting to grow up and in a week or so she'd have a lot of large cats to look after.
The kitten meowed softly and then purred as Terra placed it down in her lap. "It is a different warmth. Animals and people. Sephiroth has always been a little strange but so has Bartz. He said he knew me before though the person he described knowing... I have no memories of her. I feel bad for that."
There were a lot of memories that Terra was still missing.
May 31
The Al Bhed smiles, it was a step in the right direction for Terra. "I know you can." She may have had to realize with something like her kittens, but the capacity for love was there - it would not stop with cats.
Spreading her legs forwards and leaning back on her palms, clover eyes met crystal blue. "It doesn't matter, who you were. What matters is who you are now. I do hope, you can find a way to get your memories back if it's something you want." There's a hesitancy to that, "In a way I do, in a way maybe it's better - if they are so bad maybe it's sparing you, you know? We aren't our past though. We aren't our futures either. What matters is who you are now."
May 31
"Thank you." Her voice was soft and pure in it's tone. "For worrying about me." For calling her other form beautiful. There was a lot that Terra was grateful for and she hoped that one day she could be there for Rikku too. She'd have to be strong and that's what she wanted to do.
Bright blue eyes looked up at Rikku. "I want to remember all of my past. Even if it's sad and dark but I won't let it affect things now. It hurts but I want to be strong." There was so much darkness and pained that she remember that she kept locked away in her heart. She didn't know what it would do to share the horrors of her life. It can't change anything and speaking them aloud only made the memories feel more real.
