Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

She looked down at Marc; one of the flyers that Terra put up was clutched in the tactician's hand, and she looked down at it thoughtfully. She shrugged, while she thought about it. The truth was that there were flowers in the field that Chrom, Lissa, and Frederick found her in. Some homesickness set in. But, she didn't want to admit to that kind of feeling, with relative strangers. She was still settling into life in Aqures Ixen.
"It seems like it'd be nice," she said. "Maybe I can put some in my room. Wait here, please." Marc shrugged, leaving Robin to it; the silver-haired woman walked into the store, looking around -- she peered briefly at the kittens, a smile coming to her face -- before she looked at Terra and raised a hand to wave.
"Hello!" she called out. "This is the flower shop that you were advertising, right?"
no subject
"Oh, Um.. Yes, I'm sorry." Terra smiled placing the water pail on a small end table. "How can I help you?"

When she came across the store, she was a little puzzled. She had no idea that something like this was here before, so she was more than curious enough to go and check it out. She slowly made her way into the store, looking around quietly.
"Hello..." She soon stopped spotting the other with a small smile. "Oh, hi there!" She said with a smile and a wave. She hadn't known this place existed as she had never seen the flyers. "Are you a new shop?"
no subject
"It's a flower shop." Which she was sure that Kobato had been able to determine from the flowers lining the walls and surfaces. "And an animal shelter." She pointed to the two kittens who were inspecting Kobato's ankles.
"I have been taking care of a few stray cats and I wanted to find some of them homes."

Once she finally reached the doors of the place she looked up, a small smile plastered on her face. It looked like a really nice place on the outside, she wondered what it was like on the inside.
Once she took a step in she looked around, her eyes looking around. it didn't take her long to spot the other who she assumed was the owner. "Hello. You have a very lovely flower shop. It's beautiful."
no subject
She lowered the watering pail, her bright eyes glancing around at the flowers. "I have many flowers out but some are still growing." If she looks closely there are only about 7 types of flowers out all in different colors.

Moving in through the doors, she breathed in the floral scents deeply, looking around at the vibrant colors. Her heart sank a little when there were no species she recognized. Still, that did not mean they didn't carry similar properties. Afterall, this world had chocobos too.
"Huh?" Her eyes wandered to the pen when she heard a soft mew, and the blonde bonded over to it in a brightly colored flash, the flowers all but forgotten. Offering a little calico her fingertips to sniff. "Oh my gosh. Aren't you just the cutest? I could just eat you alive. You're so fluffy."
She giggled when one kitten tried to pounce another but grossly miscalculated, faceplanting instead. "You I'd name Wakka, cuz you're kind of a dolt."
no subject
"Aren't they cute?" Her smile was wide as she reached down to pick up one of her own. The kitty purred softly melting like butter in Terra's palm.
The truth was that she couldn't take care of them all without a job which was why she had started the flower shop. To take care of strays and then see if there were any good homes for the animals she's been collecting. Her roommate didn't much care for the collection of kittens as nice as she was about it.

Bartz naturally had to come by and see the grand opening of Terra's new shop. He's honestly impressed. He bends down to pet one of the kittens while his chocobo, who was trailing after him, sniffs at one of the plants.
"You get a lot of customers yet?"
no subject
"Thank you." She felt a light blush color her cheeks as she walked over. "I've had a few. Would you like a flower too?"
Terra was inclined to just give him one after all of the help he's been. Her gaze glanced over at the chocobo hoping the bird wouldn't eat any of Terra's flowers. She was still growing more but like most things they took time and for the moment her stock was limited.

Curious, the spiky blonde walked inside and was immediately met by a kitten that ran up and tackled his ankle. Smiling he gave down to give it a little pet. "Oh hey there."

"I'm sorry about that." Once she caught sight of Cloud her smile became a little more shy. "Hello, Cloud."

Upon spotting the flower shop, he stopped mid-step and examined the colorful display with interest. He certainly didn't dislike flowers, but neither had he any reason or person to buy them for; all the same, a glance inside didn't hurt, especially with those wide-eyed looks that those two kittens up front were trying to guilt him with. With Mograe in tow (and silent, as by now she knew better than to ask what possible interest Ven could have in this store), Ven made his way inside -- carefully, as the greeter-kittens followed him -- where he was greeted by the sound of more tiny cats further back.
It was a pleasant little place, feeling much more personal than business, somehow. Spotting who he assumed was the only employee currently in the place, Ven raised a hand in greeting and moved further in. "Hi! Are you the owner?"
no subject
"Oh, Um.. I'm Terra. Can I help you with anything?"
She absently tucked a loose strain of green hair behind her ear while watching Ventus curiously.

She was also certain her son wouldn't feel comfortable having his housemates deal with his mom on a daily basis either. Selen can be unbearable at times.
"You really need to stop wasting time with these decorations. Can't you be serious for once, kupo?" Galahad was extremely exasperated with Selen's nonchalant attitude towards her dream, and everything that followed. She told him about it and he really wondered if the woman had some screws loose.
"Silly, Galahad, I'm not the type to dwell on such things-- Hello-- Oh my is that you, Terra?" the former General mused in slight surprise as she saw the familiar girl.
"Kupooo--" Galahad crossed his arms in distaste.

Terra set down her watering pale and walked closer to the front of the store. There were two little kittens on her heels who moved as she did only taking the time to stop and play after Terra had stopped.

Mid-June-ish?
He considered writing her at first, but he wasn't known for his patience and that could take too long. Besides, he wanted to see with his own eyes that she was all right and recovered from that whole mess, even if he had done his best to heal her up as much as possible. More than that, he wanted to make sure she hadn't taken things as hard as he had. If so...
Well, that's why he was visiting.
So, much like the first time he visited her shop -- just lacking his moogle today -- Ven entered and scanned the room for a sign of life that wasn't plant or cat. "Terra?"
Mid-June-ish?
The shop wasn't much different than before but there are noticably more flowers and the green house in the back of the store is almost complete. There is half of a wall with the rest of it being built that will soon section off the two sides of the store so that customers don't have to see the green house or the mess beyond.
The kittens were moved into a pen towards the counter though as he wonders back into the store he will notice another pen with beds and more toys in the back. He will also notice a futon set up next to it that was propped up on a few crates. The bed was made and everything was neat.
Soft footsteps echoed from stairs that were hidden by what looked like a closest door. Terra's hair was loose falling over her shoulders and she was wearing a light blue sleeveless dress that flared at her waist.
"Ven?" There was a towel in her hand and the tips of her hair were a little bit damp. "What are you?"

May 31
When the locking mechanism gave way with a click, there was no time lost. In a brightly colored flash she was in, startling kittens and flowers alike - had they the capacity, "Terra?! Are you in here?"
May 31
As Rikku walked in Terra's gaze looked up at the girl. She was sitting on the floor, the pen open as kittens pawed and played around her. There was now a bed set up next to the play pen but it was neatly made and untouched for the last week or so.
The report that Terra had sat on her lap. Her legs were together and pulled up towards her chest. She was wearing her usual red dress though her hair was unbound falling down her shoulders in waves of green.
"Rikku?" She didn't know what to say or what to think. She had told Rikku some of her past though not all of it and certainly not the worse parts.

After the Memories event
And so the time for their talk found him as he stepped inside, seeking to buy fresh flowers to lay at the Fallen Heroes' memorial, where he had lurked since he had returned from that other dream realm. He was confused to see his friend behind the counter of the shop, until he remembered the flier delivered by Mognet a couple months prior.
"Good day," he greeted, but with no cheer in his voice. "How are you?"
After the Memories event
There was a kitten in her palm lightly pawing at Terra's finger as she played with him. Her kittens have been stuck to her side since she returned as if knowing the green haired mages distress. She gently placed the black kitten down who didn't look happy as he jumped after Terra.
The new flower girl moved from around the counter looking at Ramza with a worried stare. "Are you alright?"
She didn't remember seeing him in the memories but it looked as if Ramza had seen his own memory.

Early June
She came into the shop, looking around with interest. Her gaze passed over Terra, and she paused before taking a few steps forward. "Hello," she said, and hesitated, tail waving lightly. "The shop's looking good- you've got a good display set out. Are you the owner?"
Early June
"Yes." She tucked a loose strain of green behind on ear stepping forward as a kitten pawed at her ankle. It was trying to get up Terra's leg but for now the young mage let the kitten be.
"What can I help you find?"

After the evacuation was announced- too lazy to make a seperate post. Sorry. ^^;
"Hey, Terra? You around?"
His tone is pretty casual, given the current circumstances.
That's okay! I've been using this post for current stuff anyway. Cuz I'm lazy
They look more protective around Terra then before as if they know the news as well.
"I'm right here. Everything okay?" Besides the obvious threat of war. It looked like Terra felt at ease which most likely meant she had no intention of evacuating the city.

Later June
He agreed that Terra seemed very nice, and watched as Ophelia flitted off on an errand of her own. That was alright with him, as he wasn't sure where or how the conversation was going to go. Odd, that it was easier for him to be wordy when writing, but he preferred to be more silent in person.
Or perhaps not so; given that one wrote because one had something TO say, usually.
Amidst the riot of color, he stood out in his dark clothing. Not that he didn't stand out usually anyways with his height and demeanor. His gauntlet was mostly covered by the long dark-brown jacket's sleeves, and he was otherwise unarmed. Footsteps quiet as he entered, crimson eyes looking around and taking in the shop and its layout.
Later June
She looked up towards the front of the store, her bright blue eyes dim compared to how they were in the dream. She was wearing her usual form fitting red dress with red sleeves that went from her elbow to her wrist. Mint green hair was pulled back in a loose, messy ponytail while a kitten sat on her lap batting at her fingers. She wasn't wearing any shoes or shocks but it wasn't as if she needed them in her own store.
"Hello?" Her voice was sweet ringing towards the front of the store.
As Vincent moved through the shop he'd first notice the rows of colorful flowers. There's a check out counter to the left with a row of shelves behind it. Behind that was a door that lead up to an unfinished upstairs. Further back was an open door way which lead to where Terra was sitting. Inside was hotter and the room was fashioned half as a green house and the other half as a kitten daycare. There was a make shift bed pressed against the wall that Terra sat on now.

30th June [We may have to retcon a little considering we have a thread going in the meantime]
He'd come briefly back to Aqures for only one reason; to collect the heavy pack of his military supplies and officially return to Esdham. Trust a near-enough declaration of war to come as he was trying to decide what to do, when really the intention had been as automatic as any old habit. Sephiroth had a place there, responsibilities he couldn't very well just up and abandon. Despite the sour taste in his mouth Shinra left behind, his sense of duty had stood up to attention all the same.
Masamune was also with him, strapped closely to the side of his backpack with the handle protruding well passed his head. Not equipped there for battle, of course, but better to have than not to have.
Wearing his signature leather pants and boots along with a grey vest Sephiroth had to duck into the shop to get the handle of his sword through the door. He noted the thickness of the air as he stepped in, clearly full of the pollen around. He wasn't allergic as such, but had always been sensitive to flora in general having been raised in an environment where there had been precious few.
He looked around, from the doorway to see if he could tell if Terra were even there before advancing further into the room.
30th June [We can figure that out!]
There was an open door way leading to the back of the shop where a green house had been constructed to house plants that Terra was trying to cultivate herself. It was open for anyone to see though from his current view he wouldn't be able to make out much.
Terra could feel when someone entered the shop. She's been spending most of her time here making it easy to notice changes. She caught sight of silver and smiled as the familiar face came into view. She walked from the green house into the main shop greeting her visitor with a pleasant tone.
Terra was wearing her usual red dress except her gloves, shoes and other adornments where gone. There was a purring kitten in her hand that was cradling a little bottle of milk.
"Sephiroth?" She didn't know the reason for his visit though she assumed it didn't have to do with flowers. "Come in." She gestured behind her leading him into the green house. What look like a jungle covered the right half of the room while a daycare for kittens was on the left. There was a bed that Terra used pushed back against the left corner of the room and then a small garden table with two chairs set up in it's center.
