Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

Terra made her way to the collection of stem cut flowers and began to carefully sift through them. She had exactly what he wanted. The purple wild flowers that she picked were bell like in shape and grew all the way down the stalk. The white lilies were just that though the flower petals were shaped a little differently.
Once Terra had them in hand she turned towards Ramza. "Is this enough? I can package them too."
no subject
He took the flowers with a grateful nod. "That shall suffice. No need to package them. I plan to take them straight away."
Well, maybe not quite so fast as that. He needed to speak to Terra still. "How are you doing?" he asked her softly. "That dream you had upset you before."
no subject
"Did you see the memories?" She really didnt know what to call them. "The dream was startling but I knew by it's end it wasn't me. It was scary but it wore away like nightmares do. This... this was what it felt like when I regain my memories from home. It was real and there were others there."
Terra paused for a long time picking up one of the kittens and holding it against her chest. "I saw my mother and father. I saw my home as it look and as it was being destroyed. Other people saw it too."
no subject
"...but I am glad you were able to see your parents. You had no memories of them before, did you?" It must have been painful to see her home destroyed, but she could cling to that silver lining.
no subject
She was used to experiencing confusing memories but this one was more painful than the others and now other heroes were privy to information about her lineage. "There were some people there I didn't know."
It was hard to talk about it without mentioning something painful but Terra was trying. She wanted to be able to talk to Ramza. He was the first she spoke to about her memories.

"These people you saw...were they of your world, or Heroes of Light? In mine, Heroes were there to support me." It had been a great help to him during the battle they'd fought, though he had not wished them to see the darker moments of his past.
no subject
"I saw some people from my world too. It's very confusing... I changed and lost control." Her hand moved over her heart. "I attacked someone."
no subject
He looked away. "Who did not help you?" he asked. He wanted names, of people who would hear from him for leaving Terra in distress. "We have a responsibility to help one another, and anyone who shirks that duty needs to answer for it."
no subject
She took a deep breath keeping her voice even as she spoke.
"I would hurt people Ramza. I have done so in the past...." She paused meeting his unblinking gaze. "I've seen it."
It hadn't matter that she wasn't in control. If she wanted to she could have stopped it. She knew that and yet she had killed hundreds of innocent people. There were those who fought back but there were woman and children at the end of her aim as well.
no subject
He furrowed his brow at her words. "I do not think you capable of such acts. Was that truly you, or the other you?"
The Esper, perhaps, could have attacked people. They were creatures of power, and did not have the same values as a human. But Terra the girl, the gentle mage, he could not think there was darkness like that inside of her.
no subject
Terra’s head fell slightly. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that she and the Esper might not be two different people. They were both the same and it was a part of her that was dark and twisted. Not because of her linage but because of the tests and experiments that had taken place since she was a child.
“I was in this form… in some of my memories, where I attacked innocent people.” She was powerful and no one had escaped her strikes. That was how the Empire kept the secret of their little mage hostage for so long.
no subject
"If you did it, you had a reason," he said firmly. He had faith in the mage, even if she had none in herself. "Whether you remember or not. You are not the kind to delight in destruction for its own sake."
no subject
Her bright blue gaze was cast towards the ground. She wanted to believe in his words but it was so difficult when so much suggested otherwise. She's made so many happy memories here but they were all clouded by the darker memories they were built upon. If any of them knew how she truly was then they wouldn't welcome her with such open arms.
Terra looked up at Razma before shaking her head slightly. "I'm sorry for worrying you."
no subject
He gathered his flowers and slipped a few gil coins from his money pouch to pay her. "Is this enough?" he asked.
no subject
"Thank you."
She smiled at him feeling a a warmth grow in her chest. She was lucky to have Ramza as a friend even though she wasn't able to show it very well.
