Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

Her eyes glanced down at the hat and she continued her work. "I'm not familiar with have guilds either." All Terra really knew of was war. So everything else usually left the young girl confused.

"No?" She leaned forward again, ears twitched forwards, scanning Terra's face. "Then- perhaps you'd like to hear what one is like. And, in return- perhaps you could tell me something of what your world is like." She thought that ought to be a reasonable enough trade.

Her bright blue gaze flicked up at her customer before back to the hat. She was nearly finished but she wanted to put a few touches on it that would help it stay together.
"Alright. Though I don't remember all that much about my world. When I woke up here my memories had been lost." Which was true and she didn't think K'pandolu wanted to hear about her dreams of war.

She watched Terra's hands for a few moments, losing herself in the motions for a few moments. Then what Terra said broke through, and she jerked up, eyes wide. "You- lost your memory?" She leaned in again, looking the other over, concerned. Cid had lost his memory, at Carteneau, but- that had been more recent for him than the battlefield she'd seen the younger Terra in. Then…
She glanced at one hand, fingers curling in. If the Echo worked here- maybe that could reveal something. But everything else had seemed closed off… and she'd never felt she had a great deal of control over whether the Echo triggered or not. She breathed, fingers digging into her palm for a moment, and looked up at Terra. "I could… see if I could trigger anything," she said slowly. "It may not work, though."

"It's alright." She had some of her memories creeping back and none were happy. She didn't think she could handle a sudden jolt like that. "Things are coming back slowly and I'm making the best of the time I have here." It was what Terra wanted.
Her eyes glanced back down to her hat and she quickly set the finishing touches of the piece.

"If that's what you wish," she said with a nod. She hesitated for a moment, ears flicking. "There was something I wished to ask you about, though- about your family. But if you would rather I leave it be, I will."
She watched, intent on noting every part of the process she could. "A fine piece of work," she said. "May I?" She held out her hands for it.
no subject
"What is it that you wish to ask?" She can always excuse herself if it was something she didn't want to answer and she'd rather give the other hero the benefit of the doubt. Terra thought about her family wondering what question she might have.
"I don't know much abut my family."
no subject
"It is about your parentage," she said, eyes on Terra's face. "In that memory I saw… the one I believe was yours… I saw a woman, a hyur- or whatever they are called in your world- and a man, who was… something else. Would you be able to tell me about them?"
no subject
She paused.
"What did you want to know?" Terra found it odd that someone she hadn't known would be so interested in her parents. Perhaps there was more that she didn't know? Something that made her parents special besides the obvious fact that she was now the last of her race.

She straightened up, ears flicking. "One side of the fight seemed familiar to my eyes," she said, holding out one hand, palm up. "The other, though… Those beings resembled some I have seen in Eorzea, and I would know more. What they are, how they came to be- the nature of the battle that we saw." And why there had been so many. Could it hold some clue for the Scions?
no subject
"Those were Espers. My understanding is they are a race like summons in this world." Terra was going to leave it at that. Most of what K'pandolu said was in reference to her own world and so it didn't make much sense to Terra. She couldn't give her an opinion about something she didn't know.

“I’m sorry.” She inclined her head slightly. “I must get back to work.”
This wasn’t a comfortable topic for Terra and she didn’t know how much she could even explain. It hurt, not knowing.
no subject
She hesitated, though, eyes going to the shop around them, and cleared her throat after a moment, one foot shifting. "There is one more thing- unrelated, I assure you," she said, and turned to gesture at the flora around them. "Do you know where I could obtain supplies for weaving- cotton, flax, and others?"
no subject
With her directions given Terra gets back to work. She makes sure to not be rude but she has nothing else to say to K'pandolu.
