Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

"I bet she would. She's really nice, and she only has to keep them for a little while. Just while we're fighting. If you want, I'll go down to the park and ask her."
no subject
“Yes. I can come with you.” She was pleased that Bartz was willing to do this for her but these were her kittens and she wanted to make sure she requested help properly.
She smiled shyly at her friend before moving towards the back of the store to find her shoes. She slipped into a pair of sandals that strapped up her ankle.
no subject
"Great! Let's go!"
While he waits for her to get her shoes, Bartz keeps himself busy dangling a string for one of the kitties. They're so cute.

She walked out onto the streets pointing towards the park. The old woman would be there right?
"This way?"
Just advancing the travel time here
"Yup! It was on the edge of the park. Right over..."
He scans the area, then points as they near the house.
"There!"
The old woman's tiny house is there, and it seems like she hasn't evacuated yet. But she may be preparing to, since there are no tiny figures displayed on her front steps this time.

She’d wait to see if her moogle heard the little whistle and stepped towards the warm home.
“Hello?” Her voice was soft and most likely to quiet to be heard.
no subject
“Hey, Granny! You home?”
Kuposthenes sighs.
'How charming, Kupo. Still haven't mastered knocking, I see.
“What's the big deal?”
Whatever response the moogle was about to give, it's interrupted by the front door of the cottage opening. The old woman pokes a curious head through the door and then smiles as she sees who it is.
”Well, if it isn't those two young heroes. Hello, dears. What can I do for you?”
She doesn't seem at all put out by them showing up unexpectedly. It may just be that she's glad for the company.
no subject
"It's nice to see you again but..." She didn't want to just ask her a favor out of the blue and she suddenly felt nervous.
Tempest fluttered over to the pair with a smile. "Terra, Bartz? Kuposthenes?" She blushed at the other moogle before fluttering next to her hero. "You called Kupo?"
no subject
'Milady. It's... good to see you looking so well, kupo.'
Normally Bartz would tease him relentlessly about that, but right now he's too busy talking to the old woman.
"We wanted to ask you a favor. Terra?"
Both of them look at Terra expectantly.
no subject
"I wanted to know... if it wouldn't be to much trouble... if you could take the kittens and cat's I've been caring for outside of the city." She paused before continuing. "I don't want them to stay and... I know it might be a lot of work. I was going to ask Tempest if she'd be alright going with to lend a hand."
Terra looked back at Tempest who fluttered to her heroes side with a smile. "I don't mind, kupo. I'm glad that they'd be safe." Tempest also wasn't a fighter except if she left she'd have to give both Kuposthenes and Bartz specific instructions to protect Terra in her place.
no subject
"Oh, of course dear. I've always adored cats. I had three of them when I was a girl. I think I can manage to look after them for a few weeks."
Bartz grins widely.
"Thanks, Granny! That'll be a big help! And we'll even give you a hand packing up, if you need it."
She chuckles at his exuberance. Ah, youth....
"That would be lovely, dears. And perhaps, when all this fighting nonsense is over, the two of you could join some afternoon for tea?"
Apparently, she is confident that the heroes will defend the city. That she will be able to return to her little house someday.
no subject
"Tea would be lovely."
Terra glanced over at Bartz feeling a little giddy that things worked out so well.
no subject
"See? I told you it would all work out."
"I was planning to leave the day after tomorrow. Could you bring the cats by before then?"
no subject
She turned towards Bartz with a warm smile. “You were right. Thank you.” She was happy and the warmth filling her chest only grew as time inched forward.
Her gaze flicked back towards the older woman curiously. “Do you need any help with your things?” They were already here and it would be a shame not to let a hand.
no subject
"No need to thank me. Granny's doing all the work."
'Granny' chuckles a little. Taking care of some cats is hardly going to be as much work as defending the city. But she certainly won't turn down some help with these boxes. A few of them are a little heavy for her.
That would be very kind of you, Dear. When you get on in years packing can be quite a chore.
no subject
She walked forward, inspecting the boxes that she had resting in the living area. She picked one up noting that it was in fact, very heavy. Terra wobbled slightly before catching herself and straightening up. She should probably leave the very heavy ones to Bartz.
“Where should I move it?”
no subject
"Geez, Granny, what've you got in here?"
Possibly her miniature anvil collection? But she just chuckles.
'Those are my dishes. And I was moving everything to the cellar.'
She shows them to a hatch in her floor that opens to reveal a small root cellar.
'I can't bring too much with me, so I hope everything will be safe in there.'
no subject
"I'm sure it will be safe. Since there are so many staying to protect the city." She had to believe that they could do it.
While she spoke Tempest found a tiny box and began following Terra and Bartz with it. She wanted to help instead of just float around and watch. Though after lifting the box in the air she looked over at Kuposthenes.
"Do you mind leading me a hand, kupo?"
no subject
Dork.I would be honored, kupo.
This time Bartz does chuckle at his moogle's courtly airs. He does make sure to be careful with Granny's dishes though. Old ladies are funny about dishes. The cellar is small, but there is room to stack the boxes. And being underground, it's likely to be spared most of the attacks.
no subject
"Thank you, kupo."
Terra placed the box down and then turned to Bartz. The small cellar didn't give them much room to move and so she slid carefully around him. She carefully climbed back up moving from the moogles path as they lifted the heavy box.
"Are there any others?"
no subject
"All finished, Granny!"
'Wonderful, dear. I don't know what I would have done if you two hadn't come along.'
At the very least, it would have taken her far longer to get everything stored away.
no subject
She wanted to thank the woman again and again but she knew that it was time to go. She turned towards Bartz with a smile.
"I think I'm going to head back to the shop to get the kittens ready for travel. Thank you also for all of your help." She bowed her head again, she didn't know what she would do without Bartz helping her. He was someone who always seemed to make her smile.
no subject
The woman waves to them as they leave. Bartz waves back and then nods at Terra.
"No problem! I got a few things to take care of too, so I'll see you around, okay?"
no subject
Terra flashed the old woman a smile, then Bartz and then the two moogles. Though Tempest quickly fluttered to Terra’s side hoping to assist her hero. She was very happy even with the war looming over head.
