Summary: Flynn was told to take a break. So he is. Begrudgingly. But at least he looks good in board shorts.

[It's a sunny day and Flynn leans back into the beach chair, unable to really relax - he was told to relax, and Flynn took orders rather seriously, but this was one thing he wasn't good with. That, and cooking, but he'd never admit to cooking badly. In any case, after navigating the odd world of sun screen Flynn takes a look and feels slightly at ease considering that there were many people minding their own business at the beach, so he felt less self-conscious than he thought he would.]

[Yuffie almost falls forward into the water before looking up at Flynn with her mouth hanging wide open.]

Ninja's are sneaky and skilled assassins. They are the pride of Wutai and I'm the best! [Which is debatable but no one in Wutai bothers to argue with Yuffie about that anymore. Her fathers happy as long as she keeps practicing and Wutai's happy as long as there princess stays out of trouble.]

There's a ninja crystally skill here ya know. It's like that but... awesomer.

[Flynn blinks. That's gotta be saying something about Wutai, but what exactly it is is something he's not willing to blindly guess at.]

I may have to give it a try sometime, if it helps me understand you better.

What's there to understand? Ninja's are awesome and Wutai is awesome and they are both strong.

[She's happy that he wants to try and understand her since most dismiss her out of hand but she doesn't understand what's so confusing about this. She reaches for his hand and pulls.]

Let's go get your moogle or Jessie to equip the ninja job and then you'll see.

[Yuffie blinks twice.]

[Her palm clapped over her mouth. She had seen Flynn in Yuri's dream but she didn't think it was him but memory him and she didn't want to tell him that.]

I mean we all have friends. -ish.

Haha, but the relationship you have with all of your friends is different from one another, right?

I mean, the sides you see of a lover are different than the sides your lover is seen by anybody else, such as their friends or enemies or work acquaintances.

My moogle is like family. [Not that she would ever tell Mooshoo that.]
