Summary: Flynn was told to take a break. So he is. Begrudgingly. But at least he looks good in board shorts.

[It's a sunny day and Flynn leans back into the beach chair, unable to really relax - he was told to relax, and Flynn took orders rather seriously, but this was one thing he wasn't good with. That, and cooking, but he'd never admit to cooking badly. In any case, after navigating the odd world of sun screen Flynn takes a look and feels slightly at ease considering that there were many people minding their own business at the beach, so he felt less self-conscious than he thought he would.]

[Even though some people had gone home after the time at the beach, Bloom had decided to stick around for a few more days before going home. Today happened to be the time that she planned to head on back before Luffy thought about maybe heading off. She took the last few hours she had before she had to get back.

She wondered the beach, her toes digging into the sand as the waves flowed to and fro. She soon takes a seat, not noticing she was actually near anyone as she simply looked out at the ocean with a small smile.]

Such a nice beach.

Yeah, back in my world there wasn't a beach resort type of place like this.

There was a hot springs hidden away on another continent, but they didn't exactly make it easy to get there.

A hot spring resort in which isn't easy to get to? Why would they make it hard?

[That didn't make sense. If you wanted the business, then why would one not make it easy.]

Doesn't make sense, but I guess there is a reason for it.

Then again, getting from even one city to the next in Terca Lumireis was never an easy thing. The proprietors didn't seem to mind, though.

Is it okay to ask what your world was like? It sounds like it's pretty big?

[She leant over slightly. She really was interested in finding out more about others and where they came from.]

Sure, I don't mind.

Huh, where do I start? It's not dissimilar to this world, but the threat of monsters was always a bit more severe - it came to the point where nearly every city had to rely on something called a "barrier blastia" to help keep the monsters out. Because of this, travel from one area to the next was rather uncommon.

[Yuffie isn't sure what she expecting coming to the beach like this. It makes her feel a little sad but then also a little happy. She spots Flynn, remembering the night she ninja-ed her way into his and Yuri's room. Except he hadn't been there.

She walks up silently, scooping up sand with her free hand and then dumping it on his chest.]

Hey sleepy head. You're back.

[She hasn't seen him in a while and she remembers Yuri's dream. He was there too.]

[dammit_yuri]

[Dusting off the sand, he could only laugh. Nobody back at home was this whimsical with him, so it was refreshing.]

Yeah, that was a long nap.

[Yuffie just smiles. She likes Flynn even though she thinks he's a little weird.]

Yuri was worried. He wouldn't say so because he has that grumpy face on but he was. [Yuffie has her way of knowing things.]

Since you're back we should do something fun. It's been forever.

[That and Yuffie wants to not think about those crazy dreams for awhile.]

What kind of thing did you have in mind, Yuffie?

I don't. [She pulls at his arm.] We're gonna wing it.

[She drags him closer to the waters edge before looking up at him with a wink.]

You think you can do that?

[After the... very disconcerting memories that Robin relived, she wanted a break. This has led her to follow after the others going to the beach. She has a simple purple one-piece on, and she's sitting down on a chair.]

[She might be sipping a margarita. She might be a little drunk. But hey, that curiously lemon and lime flavored drink with a salt-encrusted glass has a little umbrella in it!]

Watch out!

[Flynn called out to Robin to warn her of an incoming beach ball headed straight for her head.]

Kyaaah!

[Robin's not prepared. The ball hits her head, bouncing off, and she swats too slowly to hit it.]

Where did that come from!

[dammit_yuri]

[Flynn lightly chuckles as he approaches Robin to make sure she's all right.]

Luckily, the beach ball wasn't too dangerous.

Are you all right, miss?

[She looks warily in the direction of the beach ball, before she looks back up at Flynn. She smiles and nods. No lasting harm.]

Quite fine, I think. Just... surprised. I usually keep my wits about me better than that.

[ Yuri would like it if Flynn stayed away from any form of food making on the risk of getting both of them sick. Of course, he didn't really do much with his days and orders were not his forte.

He was hanging on the beach, but hardly dressed for it. However, spotting his childhood friend relaxing, he walked over to harass greet him. ]

Yuri.

[Flynn blinked. The two couldn't stay away from each other, could they?]

You may as well grab a seat and join me. I don't know anyone else here.

Yo, Flynn.

[ Yuri was as casual as ever as he greeted the other. He stared at him for a moment. He pulls an empty chair over and flops himself in it. ]

I was wondering when you'd get out of that crystal.

[dammit_yuri]

Yeah, I can't say it was either pleasant or unpleasant.

There are worse ways to go.

[dammit_flynn]

Good to know you're still with us.

[ He shrugged a little. Yeah, there were worse ways to go, or be stuck in memories as he was. Hell. He's not even sure anymore. ]

So what brings you to the beach of all places?

[Unfortunately for Flynn, his beach chair is angled in such a way that, from a distance, Anise is able to mistake him for someone else.]

[It might be in Flynn's favor that he can't really relax; he'll need to react quickly if he wants to dodge the thirteen-year-old that's currently hurtling towards him, arms outstretched.]

[Ducking, Flynn blinked a few times as he wasn't in time enough, meaning Anise plunged right into his gut.]

Oof!

Lady Anise, right?

[Only too late did Anise realize it wasn't Guy. Still, it was a friendly face, right?]

[But lady? What did he mean by...oh, that's right. This was one of the guys who'd been with her in the facility. Well, there was no harm in a little white lie, right?]

That's right! ♥

I'm enjoying a nice, relaxing, royal day at the beach.

[She emphasizes that last part, despite it being nothing that anybody who was royalty would actually say.]
