Within the past few days, I should think. So it's quite possibly been a hideout…

[Annie jumps to her feet, hands on her fluffy hips.]

So they must be nearby! Let's keep looking!

[She flutters into the air above the shards, flying around crates, then up to the ceiling. She wouldn't think of looking up there, but you never know with evildoers.]

"Oh good, Kupo!" Helping her up, Corrine helped her brush off the debris she couldn't reach before turning to where a plume of smoke indicated the location of the remains of the Moogle Killer.

"Yes! We got it!" he said excitedly before looking around and becoming serious again. "But I think there are still more, kupo."

Ninja can be invisible. And maybe illusionists can look like someone else, if they can make houses only look like they are on fire.

[ Which was good. He was glad to see that she was able to get back on her own feet eventually. He was there to help if she needed it at all. Of course, that was just the kind of person he was.

Yuri just had a different view on things and he never really took things too seriously unless he had to. Right now she probably didn't need a grim faced guy with her. ]

Yeah, I figured from some of it not burning me. You know any mages or something that can help put this stuff out?

[All K'pandolu feels she can do now is as much damage as she can- whatever she can. One more barrage, then.

She draws a breath, activates Shushin, and strikes, the ability adding to the speed granted to Haste to allow her to try for an even greater number of blows, before moving back in the attempt to evade whatever the Weapon means to launch.]

[She nodded slightly, she had potions for if she did as well, but she worried about there being people around.]

I might try when I know there aren't people around. So can you please go check?

[Minako made sure she had a clone of herself to stand in front of her for whatever might happen. After all she was worried about what might happen next... It was probably not good either way.]

[She is a mage and she should be able to put out this fire. Instead of answering she just looks towards the ground. A heavy weight pressing on her heart.]

[Johnny helps haul him up, and shoots him half a grin, on that's trying to cover his shredded nerves.]

I still got my sword, man, and enough spells to go around. And when I run outta that, I got my guitar 'n can back you up with a song. There ain't no way to stop me.

Yuna is in the air again, taking leaps and bounds floating part-way in the air with her levitation skills. This way of moving, the speed in the air -- it reminded her of the way they had fought one another in the war of the gods. But reminiscing was on the backburner, and she skidded to the ground once she was back at Rikku's side.

"Are you all right?" she asked quickly, although she wouldn't be able to heal, she still had a supply of hi-potions on hand. With the machina scorpion moving into place again, her attention quickly went back to the threat.

"Oh no," the psychic whispered her eyes following the path that its aim was meant for. "We can't let fire on the crystallized wing!" She was up again, zipping towards the mechanical beast, her features sharp with intent, one eye trained on her foe as she circled around, "Hey, over here!" she called, trying to draw its attention, soaring through the air towards, then behind it.

( not waiting around for her friend to take flight, midna swooped into flight again, conjuring stones in the sky while she set out on her path. they looked quite similar to the blockades zelda would have seen in her memory from that time -- though instead of a menacing red these pillars glowed with a blue-green hue.

as the walls materialized between the stones that had been placed, she chanced one last glance back to see that the other girl was finally safely on her way, a thoughtful smile replacing the mischief in it from earlier. )

[Zelda is in the sky when she begins their plan. She's already given her loftwing instructions so she doesn't have to focus on flying. Really it's a good thing they've been together for so long. She gently pats it's neck and then begins.

She hasn't used the master of illusion on a scale like this before and it takes a lot of focus for the young goddess.]

Bonnie stared at Ven, not expecting him to be both so eager to help and willing to let her tag along as well.

"S-sure. I can do that, kupo. And if any get close to me I'll bring them down like that other one, kupo!"

The moogle fluttered up, clutching her knife and looking around. "Over there, kupo! One is trying to get in the building through that window!" A drone was floating by one of the ground floor windows, its optics and weapon both swiveling as if looking for targets.

"We can try and see if telling them we'll keep the others alive if they do as we ask will work, but we'll have to follow through if we do that. If we are, I will require you're full cooperation. Some people are a bit hesitant to kill. What can I expect of you?"

Bonnie's expression turned from relief to caution just as quickly. She nodded as she looked around. Her ears twitched as she listened to the faint whirring of the drones as they flitted around.

"There's a bunch still out here, kupo. I'm worried about Mognet Central. I think some may have gotten inside, kupo." The two weren't alone, thankfully, but the moogles were still at a big disadvantage.

"If only there was a way to take them all out at once, kupo."

"I just want to be sure we don't wind up with a ship without a crew and no way to keep it in the air." She turns her head to look at Olivier and raises her left hand. Her arm tenses and the hidden blade springs from her cuff. "But if it comes to it, aye. I have the fortitude to take a life."

The Assassin then once again activated her invisibility crystal, fading from view. "I'll scout ahead." Her footsteps are faint, but Olivier can hear the other woman moving away from her. It helps that she knows she was there in the first place.

Wow, magic in your world sounds pretty complicated. [Granted Cloud only knows enough of the mechanics behind his own world's magic to use it and get by. Magic on Gaia is more of a supplement to other skills than anything standalone. And technology has a firm foot in his world as well.]

You sit inside it. The top is usually open like...like a carriage I guess? Does that make sense? Some have closed tops, some have open tops. But yeah, getting one for myself would involve getting close enough to get the pilot out. Not to mention managing to escape.

And the gunblade is more of a mix. Knowing how to use the gun AND the sword means you can use it to its full potential. [As absurd as the weapon type may look, it does have some good strengths once one can get past the handling.

To show her he takes the weapon back and steps over to a training dummy. He takes a few practice slashes at it before taking a heavier one and pulling the trigger. The shotgun fires into the tear the blade made as it passes, opening it wider. He then steps back and fires another shot, showing the ranged potential.]
