There are always reasons to be angry
Characters: Yuffie & OPEN
Where: Aqures Ixen and Ruins of Aqures Tosf
When: August
Summary: Stuff! Being Angry~
Warning: Someone's getting tied up?
The moment Yuffie woke up she fled the room. She didn't want to talk with anyone. She couldn't trust any of the other heroes anymore. It was as if the world had just gone crazy. When she walked outside she met Mooshoo as well as the other moogles, except she treated her companion with a harsh stare instead of a warm hug.
"I guess I should explain, kupo." He had remembered meeting her all those years ago though there first meeting Yuffie had been a lot younger. It was only after she came back from crystal stasis that he knew who that young girl was. "Miki really did like the toy by the way. She was happy when I told her we'd met again."
His comment seemed to temper Yuffie's annoyance but it wasn't by very much. "We'll talk on the airship..." Even if she was about to feel a little sick at take off.
[ooc: Feel free to tag her at take off when she's feeling sick, before she boards or during flight when she's staring off into space.]
Around: Aqures Ixen
She can be found working with the towns people fixing up the town. She hasn't really said much to Cid and she wasn't sure what to think of Wedge or Biggs or the others. She didn't want to work with the other heroes and she didn't much care to talk to any of them. Her moogle was no where to be found but she didn't seem to be bothered by that fact.
Yuffie was doing a lot to help. She didn't much care that she had been used in Tutu's plot to get control of the Ultima weapon and she really didn't want to run into Rikku. Then she'd have to face that the Al Bhed girl had been right.
She felt so stupid and all of those feelings were channeled into her work. She was wearing shorts and a tank top as she worked, jumping and lifting things while calling over to the towns people she was assisting. Her long hair was tied back into a single pony tail and her expression was very serious. She was helping a lot and it prevented her from doing much else.
House A-02: Closed to Vincent
It was one of the few times that Yuffie found herself at home. Sometimes she worked through the night on repairing things and took naps to keep her strength up. It had been a few days since they first came back and Mooshoo had noticed a change in his hero, a change he didn't like. He also noticed a distance between Vincent and Yuffie and he thought that it might have something to do with that change.
So, with Ophelia's help, he enacted a plan.
As Yuffie walked through the door he pounced at her. Really, this was what she got for finally using doors to enter the house instead of her window. Mooshoo had rope and he used it to expertly tie Yuffie up. She still hadn't managed to learn how to escape such bindings.
"MOOSHOO!"
Her shout could probably be heard a few buildings away as she wobbled and then fell on the couch. Mooshoo would hazard fluttering over, even as Yuffie kicked her feet in the air, if only to tighten the ropes around her arms and torso. From outside it might sound like someone was torturing the poor girl and with that in mind Ophelia was in position by the front door, waiting for Vincent.

House A-O2: Closed to Yuffie
The gunslinger had made sure there were supplies. But he was more terse than ever, when he did speak. He was out often, coming back late and keeping more to himself than ever. Even Ophelia was only able to pry the barest of answers from him as to what had happened. She didn't like this, and on hearing that Yuffie was acting similarly? She'd come up with a plan.
Mooshoo had taken some convincing, but she'd been firm. So Ophelia waited in shadows, long red scarf nowhere to be found. They'd left a note asking Vincent to be home soon, as she wanted to tell him about her time with Zelda during the battle.
Lying in wait, she was ready as Mooshoo'd already completed his first task. She'd already done her first part too, with Death Penalty stolen from under her Heroe's bed and hidden safely with friends of hers. Quiet, not even her wings fluttering from her hidden shadowy-corner, as the taller dark-haired hero came through the door.
One second...
Two seconds...
Then there was a blur of white fur, and red-wings, as Ophelia launched herself at her companion Hero. Crimson eyes widened slightly, pivoting slightly as Vincent hadn't expected the sudden movement. Not at home, and while still taking out some anger and frustration on monsters, returning after hunting. The little moogle had expected that, as she kept her goal in-sight, and took advantage of her agility and size and speed.
His gun was out of the holster on his hip before he realized it was just Ophelia. Held tightly to her chest as she zipped away up the stairs and out the window! A disbelieving blink of crimson eyes, widening, before Vincent took two steps after her.
"OPHELIA!" Had anyone actually ever heard him raise his voice before in annoyance and anger? Because it was shouted, and clearly angry, and clearly annoyed. Eyes narrowing when she didn't return, and a clearing of throat had him turning to meet further unexpected complications.
Namely, that of Yuffie tied up on the couch and Mooshoo standing calmly by. Vincent glared at him, arms crossing over his chest, looming from his full height. What the hell were these two up to?
House A-O2: Closed to Yuffie
Mooshoo, for all his confidence, looked a little nervous but he kept his chin high. "My apologies, kupo. Both you and Yuffie..." Who was now silently glaring at Mooshoo as she kicked her feet again. "...have been acting strange. We don't know the cause and we won't pry, however, you should come to terms with it because it already has begun to affect your judgement." Everything he said was logical and he hoped to appeal to Vincent's logical mind.
Yuffie for all her struggling wasn't making any progress. She glared at Mooshoo. "Let me go you little fuzz ball! I have nothing to say!" Which wasn't true but she didn't really think this was a good time. She just wanted to shower...
Re: House A-O2: Closed to Yuffie
"She hid Death Penalty too, didn't she?" The tone was flat, cold and professional even as crimson eyes promised bloody murder if it was harmed. Mooshoo nodded, chin still high, "Both of your weapons are safe kupo." Damnit, Ophelia really had been paying attention to him.
A deep breath in and out, even if Vincent didn't relax from his annoyed posture. "Fine. We'll talk. YOU, go make sure she takes care of it. It's loaded." Not happy with either of their companions right now, but Vincent could see the logic at least. Moving into the living room properly, as he settled angrily in the chair opposite from the couch (and tied-up ninja occupying it).

Aqures Ixen!
He's not working long before he spots a familiar face. Was that Yuffie? She seemed more stoic and composed than normal, and that kind of worried him. He had the distinct feeling that something was wrong.
He'll wait until she's done with her current task before approaching casually.
"Hey, is there anything you need help with?"
Aqures Ixen!
"Ask the man in charge. I'm just following his orders." She waved a hand towards a man who was pointing and looking very important as he told people what to do. He seemed thrilled to have Yuffie working for him and her skills were as expected as a hero of light.
Yuffie, for her part, had stuck a few nails between her lips and grabbed a hammer from the ground to begin work on the broken wall.

He'd seen Yuffie when she was upset during the dream (not that he could blame her), but he'd never seen her this cold or disinterested. Something was definitely wrong.
Fortunately, Morgan wasn't one to give up without a fight, especially when it came to his friends. There were times to let people be and times to be there for people, and Morgan couldn't shake the strong feeling that this was the latter.
He'll hover around her as she begins to work on the broken wall; not getting ready of him that easy, nope.
"Is something wrong? You seem out of it."

Airship, during flight
At this point, he had found another perch and was relaxing just above Yuffie as he said that. He... actually didn't seem so perturbed by what had happened.
Airship, during flight
Mooshoo, for all his tact, was silently floating by Yuffie's side. He knew that his silence had upset her and she wasn't in the mood to see reason.

Immediately he went off to find her, only to run into Kugami shortly after leaving. The two exchanged a silent affirmation. "I'd say you haven't changed in all these years but... it's probably not funny right now." It was enough to make MarKus stop and cock his head to the side at the bad joke. "You're not hard to find. I watched you. Both of you."
"Both?" he asks.
"I saw her run off in a hurry. Did you say something?".
"Not yet. Where did she go."
"The air-port."
With that MarKus is of in a hurry to find the girl. More than once it crosses his mind why she didn't wait for him to wake up. Normally, at least to him, she'd have been there to berate him, or pick on him, for waking up later than her.
No matter, he just had to find her, and things would be just fine... right? And if he doesn't find her before boarding the ship back home, he'll be hunting her down, to the best of his ability, on the ship itself.

Mooshoo was insistent but after a brief conversation he moved from her path and let her walk towards the airship. She didn't seem to have noticed MarKus though Mooshoo glanced back at the hero with a worried expression. With a small paw he waved for MarKus to follow her and then fluttered behind his hero.
Her back was tense and her demeanor more serious than anything he has seen before now. She had untied her hair so it fell in dark waves over her shoulders.

"Hey Yuffie, wait up!"
Genius. Absolute genuine words of comfort and healing. Shakespeare could learn a lesson here!

Spotting Yuffie she takes a breath and makes her way over. She doesn't know what the ninja thinks of her now, Rikku has always been one to speak her mind. It's not uncommon for people not to take kindly to that. She really, doesn't want to have lost a friend over it. Especially one of her first. She pauses behind where the girl is at work,
"...Hey."
no subject
It's obvious that she knew what she was doing. She spent a lot of time helping to rebuild Wutai after the life stream had ripped through her home.
"What do you want Rikku?"
Her tone was sharper than she meant it. She didn't want to be mean to the younger girl but she was ashamed. She had been used, even when she thought what she was doing was right and Rikku had been the one to see right through it. How could Yuffie face her after that?
no subject
She flinched at the harsh tone. "I wanted to see if you hated me now." She knew Yuffie better than anybody should ever have to on some levels - had heard the sound of her friend's voice after enduring torture, starvation, the sound of it devoid of hope. Ironically, in some ways while their understanding reached deep levels no other's could and hopefully would never have to -- she had no idea what Yuffie's response would be to being angry with her. Did her fellow thief counterpart hold grudges? The Ninja had clearly been enraged with her when last they'd parted ways.

Airship
As he glanced over slightly he spoke up. "...Hi Yuffie."
Airship
“Hi…” Her tone was short and terse.
She didn’t want to talk to him because she knew that she would get angry. She knew that she’d yell and he didn’t look like he could take that right now. Why did he try and save that woman…
Mooshoo fluttered at her side and in Yuffie’s silence spoke. ”Are you alright, kupo?”

Takeoff
Ales was not at the Crystal of Fire to see the mess the Heroes got into, and whenever he asked around, everyone would look away as their eyes clouded over. He knew they wouldn't be able to stop it from exploding, why would they think otherwise? He wished they would say something about what caused it to explode. Kalki, he assumed.
He was never happier to see Mimi. His first death and Crystal Stasis was a lot to handle in a short amount of time, and he took the opportunity to hug and nuzzle Mimi as much as he could. Then he realized everyone was watching him, so he set her down and decided to hug her when they boarded.
"I wasn't there, you know, but it must have been awful." He wasn't trying to be mean, but his sympathy skills could use work. Keeping his distance from Yuffie, even if she was annoying, made him sound more cold that he actually was.
Takeoff
"Be happy you weren't." She had heard of Jessie's betrayal from Mooshoo but it still stung. They didn't even know if Kalki was working with her and really they have less information and direction as before. The enter situation was frustrating and then the other heroes...
The people here were to stupid to save anything.

Aqures Ixen - City repair
However while Yuffie's reaction to all that had happened formed as anger and annoyance, Cloud had turned inward. The spikey blonde was uncharacteristically quiet as he helped the townsfolk repair a roof, his eyes unfocused in a thousand yard stare as he hammered some nails into place. He was so focused in fact that he didn't notice his swing had drifted until he broke one of the shingles he was trying to set.
"Nghnn, damnit." He tossed the broken thing aside, joining a pile of other ones he had accidentally broken over the past hour.
Aqures Ixen - City repair
She was used to rebuilding things. They were rebuilding Wutai before she left since the life stream had ripped through the area; watching Cloud attempt to work was both sad and unfortunate. The SOLDIER should focus on moving wood or finding ways to help where he wasn't making others do more work or costing materials.

Aqures Ixen
Yuri often kept to himself and did things his own way, thus keeping himself out of the loop of things, but recently, he could pretty much see what kind of fucked up place this turned out to be. Learning about all of the fun things certainly left a disturbing taste in his mouth.
He noticed that Yuffie had been working pretty hard, and brought over some water for her, setting it on top of her head as a greeting. She seemed rather too serious for the energetic ninja that he knew. Of course, he couldn't blame her. Yuffie was one with a strong personality.
Aqures Ixen
"What do you want Yuri." She was tired of dealing with the other heroes. If he wasn't here to help he could leave. Of course, if he's never hammered a day in his life it might be better for him to leave.

Boarding/Take off
Yuffie was one of those people who easily manifested their presence wherever they appeared, and their cooperation had given him a taste of that, but the way she was behaving today, it gave him a bad feeling, even if they had never had the chance to know each other properly. The revelation they had witnessed had put a dark shade over all of their actions so far, and the doubt that came with it belonged to the natural order of things.
He would just keep an eye on her from afar at first, but it wouldn't be long before they stood side by side, waiting for their turn in response to the airship's boarding call. Ace figured it was not possible to escape a direct confrontation at this point, and while it's not like his intention was to avoid his comrade, he genuinely did not know where to begin.
So he just looked at her, still not saying anything.
Boarding/Take off
Her fingers laced through her hair, pushing the lock dark locks from her view. She thought about cutting her hair but she hadn’t really gotten around to it and being in the city for almost a year put the silky strains pass the middle of her back. She carefully pulled her hair over her shoulder, tying it with a green piece of fabric that she had hidden in her pocket. It was a simple wrap but it held her hair in place as they slowly moved forward.
Mooshoo seemed to have noticed Ace’s stare as he moved closer but said nothing to the young man. He nodded in acknowledgement, first at Ace and then at Hanafuda.
She knew his name, after the Ultima weapon she had taken care to remember it. “What do you want Ace?” Her tone was sharp but more impatient than angry. She didn’t must care to be stared at and she was already in a bad mood as it was. Everything that happened kept fluttering through her thoughts. She couldn’t understand and she wasn’t thrilled to be considered a hero like those with her.
