There are always reasons to be angry
Characters: Yuffie & OPEN
Where: Aqures Ixen and Ruins of Aqures Tosf
When: August
Summary: Stuff! Being Angry~
Warning: Someone's getting tied up?
The moment Yuffie woke up she fled the room. She didn't want to talk with anyone. She couldn't trust any of the other heroes anymore. It was as if the world had just gone crazy. When she walked outside she met Mooshoo as well as the other moogles, except she treated her companion with a harsh stare instead of a warm hug.
"I guess I should explain, kupo." He had remembered meeting her all those years ago though there first meeting Yuffie had been a lot younger. It was only after she came back from crystal stasis that he knew who that young girl was. "Miki really did like the toy by the way. She was happy when I told her we'd met again."
His comment seemed to temper Yuffie's annoyance but it wasn't by very much. "We'll talk on the airship..." Even if she was about to feel a little sick at take off.
[ooc: Feel free to tag her at take off when she's feeling sick, before she boards or during flight when she's staring off into space.]
Around: Aqures Ixen
She can be found working with the towns people fixing up the town. She hasn't really said much to Cid and she wasn't sure what to think of Wedge or Biggs or the others. She didn't want to work with the other heroes and she didn't much care to talk to any of them. Her moogle was no where to be found but she didn't seem to be bothered by that fact.
Yuffie was doing a lot to help. She didn't much care that she had been used in Tutu's plot to get control of the Ultima weapon and she really didn't want to run into Rikku. Then she'd have to face that the Al Bhed girl had been right.
She felt so stupid and all of those feelings were channeled into her work. She was wearing shorts and a tank top as she worked, jumping and lifting things while calling over to the towns people she was assisting. Her long hair was tied back into a single pony tail and her expression was very serious. She was helping a lot and it prevented her from doing much else.
House A-02: Closed to Vincent
It was one of the few times that Yuffie found herself at home. Sometimes she worked through the night on repairing things and took naps to keep her strength up. It had been a few days since they first came back and Mooshoo had noticed a change in his hero, a change he didn't like. He also noticed a distance between Vincent and Yuffie and he thought that it might have something to do with that change.
So, with Ophelia's help, he enacted a plan.
As Yuffie walked through the door he pounced at her. Really, this was what she got for finally using doors to enter the house instead of her window. Mooshoo had rope and he used it to expertly tie Yuffie up. She still hadn't managed to learn how to escape such bindings.
"MOOSHOO!"
Her shout could probably be heard a few buildings away as she wobbled and then fell on the couch. Mooshoo would hazard fluttering over, even as Yuffie kicked her feet in the air, if only to tighten the ropes around her arms and torso. From outside it might sound like someone was torturing the poor girl and with that in mind Ophelia was in position by the front door, waiting for Vincent.

She's kept her country and it's people close to her heart for so long. It was why she fought, the driving force to keep her moving forward and it was who she sought to protect now. There was nothing else that really mattered and it was like that fire had been lit again. Not that she had ever forgotten Wutai but there was a different reason that each hero worked.
Yuffie didn't know Yuri's reason and she didn't really care. Her own reason was enough to fuel her.
She laughed, a short exhausted sound leaving her lips. "God, people are really stupid aren't they?" It sounded random but with Yuffie's train of thought the comment was relevant.

about their citizens in poverty. Yuri still had bitter opinions about authorities and nobility in general. Yuffie didn't come off like one of those people, so she was lucky with that. He even calls her "Princess" casually since it's his nickname for her for the time being.
Though, he would definitely be using her name when there were more serious things at hand.
"No kidding. That's just the nature of people really. Beggars can't be choosers, or something like that, right?"
He replied with a laugh as well.

That's what they had to do here and yet... more often than not it felt like their path was just taking them wherever.
Yuffie didn't like it.
She continued her work, watching as nail after nail was put in place. Her hands are quick and precise as she works. Her dark gaze steadying on her fingertips as she moved. "I wish people weren't that stupid." It's really just wishful thinking.

Even if one sought to make things fair, it would always be a struggle. Someone was suffering somewhere. That was all there was to it really. He didn't know what he wanted to do here or what would become of him here, but he certainly wasn't going to let things control him. Yuri laughed, "Yeah you got that right, Princess."
He agreed with her, "It's just the way things are. You get one smart guy and a handful of dumb guys. The world isn't as great as it claims to be."Another nail for him as well. His work was getting done at a rather decent pace as he had small talk with one of his good friends(?), he supposed.

"Wow, you shouldn't be a motivational speaker." She was laughing, her tone returning to the sarcastic light tone that she usually took. What a depressing thing to say but for some reason she found the whole thing ironic. Maybe that's why they needed so many heroes, one good one in every ten. Just the thought of it made her giggle.
Her hammer thundered against the roof before she reached for another nail.

"I wouldn't want to. It's too much of a chore, and I'm not good at lying to folks about false promises," he replied shrugging again. Seriously, he'd just tell the truth and make things ten times worse. No one should hire him for speaking on behalf of anyone but the sarcasm is appreciated, Yuffie.
"Looks like we're getting this done pretty fast," he mused after another long amount of silence. It wasn't his cup of tea, but getting things fixed for people who were casualties to everything that was going on was definitely rewarding somehow. Yuri didn't seem to find it too bad and the he rather enjoyed the simple things in life. At least, the things he could control obviously.

Yuffie can’t help but tease a little bit. Her smile was wide even as they focused on the construction of the roof. It was easier with someone else helping her, not only because there were two of them working on it. But Yuffie would notice that he got more done than her and quickly work to catch up. It was a weird competitive thought but it kept the work interesting and Yuffie wasn’t forced to lull into her thoughts.
Her mind wasn’t a very happy place at the moment.
“Yeah. It’s a lot easier...” She won’t say why their chore has gotten easier but she assumed that Yuri would figure it out. He’s sort of smart.
Yuffie looked over towards the ground and it looked like most of the others in the site were beginning to leave. “Do we dare try and finish this today?”

He doesn't really seem to care how long it takes to get it done, really, "Eh? With more folks working on it, definitely."
He replied as he continued to hammer and talk to her, "Doesn't sound too hard if you want to keep going, princess."

She should probably give Yuri the benefit of the doubt but it was hard. Her tone was more sarcastic than serious but there was always a bite to Yuffie's voice.
"This really isn't all that difficult." It was tedious, and strenuousness but with determination it wasn't all that difficult.

It was fine with him, whatever her tone may be. He dismissed it enough with her. They tend to enjoy each other's company in that regard anyway, "Not at all. It could be worse," he replied as a joke, though a bit troublesome, not that bad.
Wanna end soon?
"I bet I can do more than you."
Her grin curled into an evil smile as she began to pick up her pace. She was still making sure to do the work correctly but now she worked a little faster, falling into a simple rhythm of placing, hammering, shifting and repeating.
sure prob in the next one or two replies :x or right now
"Sure, if you think you can," he replied with a laugh. He's not really in any rush but hey he's not backing down if that's what she wanted to play a game while they were working. He was following suit with her pretty easily as well.
