Robin + Morgan: Back Home!

[Finally, after everything's said and done, Robin is back home. It's been busy. Aqures Ixen has been hurt -- the damage is frightful -- and rebuilding has taken up a lot of time. So has... everything, really. Robin's grateful to just have a moment to sit down, to take a deep breath, and reflect.]

[It feels like she's barely breathed since the nightmares. Much less the exploration of the castle, the war, and the trip to the past.]

[When Morgan enters, she's on a sofa, idly leaning back and staring at the ceiling. Her book is on an endtable, as always, but Robin isn't reading it. She's just watching the ceiling, taking a second to just catch her breath.]

[In a twist of fate that, one day, Robin will find amusing... this is the first that she's heard the term "invisible bonds." It brings a smile to her lips.]

Yeah! We can do anything, as long as we fight next to the people that make us even stronger.

[She slings an arm across his shoulders, and then pulls Morgan into a hug. That's her boy.]

[Funny, she thinks, how it doesn't even feel weird anymore.]

[Morgan can't help but smile as he's pulled into the hug. He was with family and he had good friends; even if he was far from home, he didn't have anything to fear.]

[Sensing that the atmosphere had become much lighter and friendlier, Morgan's smile becomes much more natural.]

Is there anything you wanted to ask?

[It's not as pressing as an issue as before, and it's presented rather innocently, but it was probably an important thing to ask. Considering when Robin was from, it was probably natural she'd be curious about a thing or two.]

Ah, so much. I'd ask who your father was, but... it might spoil the surprise.

[Robin grins at that. Then she considers, before she looks up at the ceiling.]

What was it like? Did we live somewhere nice? I suppose I must have cooked more than bear meat for you. Ah... asking you to summarize an entire childhood! This is hard.

[Morgan chuckles awkwardly in response. That was one of the questions he didn't want to answer. He still didn't know how much it was okay to reveal, or how this might alter the future.]

Yeah, you and dad were really great! Everything back then was really nice.

[And almost uncharacteristically, his expression darkens a bit. Although most does his amnesia didn't bother him, there were some times where he did wish he remembered his childhood.]

...I think. I might not be the best person to ask.

[Robin smiles at that -- and then she blinks, her head tilting. She sees that darker look. Robin hesitates, before she hugs him again.]

Ah... it's okay. If it's hard to talk about or it's something you'd rather not, Morgan.

[She pulls back, then she nods.]

We have here and now. Right?
